Trouble in the Sovereign City?
The smile vanished from Eira’s face. She spun around, her gaze sharp as she fixed it on Felix.
"Your Majesty, just monts ago, word ca from the Sovereign City. Deputy Commander of the Imperial Guard Vance was attacked and killed. Prince Henry and Logan have gone missing."
Felix said quickly, eyes downcast as he checked the communication device in his hand.
Normally, this would be the mont the Empress of the Great Shaw Empire welcod the hero Aiden ho.
But this sudden disaster completely ruined all their plans.
The atmosphere instantly grew heavy and tense.
Gripping her Imperial Scepter tightly, Eira’s beautiful face was now frozen with cold rage and killing intent.
"Vance is dead? How did he die?"
Felix replied that according to General Jas, who remained in the Sovereign City, strong fighters from the Evil Demons Guild must have sneaked in to ambush Vance.
Hearing this, Aiden’s eyes narrowed.
He had t Vance. Vance was Eira’s watchdog, specifically assigned to monitor Prince Henry.
Now, with Evil Demons Guild strongn in the Sovereign City, Vance dead, and both Henry and Logan missing, it was clear: Henry must have made a deal or alliance with the Evil Demons Guild.
"What a coincidence," Aiden thought. "I was attacked, and now sothing similar happened in the Sovereign City. If I’m not mistaken, the people who attacked were also mbers of the Evil Demons Guild, acting as a distraction."
"Give the order! The Evil Demons Guild has invaded the Sovereign City. They kidnapped Prince Henry and Logan, the son of Prince Qi. Every city must enter ergency status..."
Eira commanded, her voice as cold as ice.
Any smart person could see that Henry and Logan were not truly kidnapped by the Evil Demons Guild.
It made no sense.
Although Prince Henry was a royal prince of the Great Shaw Empire, he had already lost his title and rights. He was strictly forbidden from leaving his residence.
And Logan had been in a vegetative state for quite so ti.
Eira issued this order in front of so many people simply to protect the dignity of the Great Shaw Empire royal family.
If the common people of the Great Shaw Empire found out that Prince Henry had colluded with the Evil Demons Guild and betrayed the nation, it would cause a massive uproar.
"I’m sorry. Today, we had planned to welco you back with the highest honors, but things turned out this way," Eira turned to Aiden and sighed deeply.
Aiden didn’t care at all. Instead, a spark of excitent appeared in his eyes.
If this happened, was Eira really going to still protect Henry? That seed unlikely.

Just as he saw Lia gently slide a finger inside, he suddenly couldn’t help but recall the Miko sisters he had seen in his Mindspace.
"Co here," Aiden said slowly as he sat up, addressing Lia.
Lia’s eyes imdiately lit up. She swallowed hard and quickly scrambled toward him on her hands and knees.
