Seeing his expression, Su He laughed. “You heard her. It’s not that I’m stingy — she just won’t let show you.”
Just then, the sound of hurried footsteps ca through, and the cara flipped. Rushuang appeared on screen wearing a loose oversized T-shirt, her hair ssy, clearly just thrown on her clothes in a hurry. The disheveled look oddly enhanced her beauty.
“So, did you act too nervous? What did she say?” Rushuang asked.
Lin Mo thought for a mont. “I don’t think so... maybe a bit unnatural. She didn’t really say much, just asked why a dical University student was living here. I told her I’m not from there but from the Science and Tech University, and that I know she’s lived here for a while.”
Hearing that, Rushuang sighed deeply, closing her eyes in frustration.

“Ahem... Su Su, listen, I just... borrowed her for a bit, didn’t break anything! Our cousin’s perfectly fine! Hey, put that sock down, let’s talk this out!” Rushuang said, panicking as Su He brandished a sock like a weapon.
“What else did you do?”

When she reappeared, her hair was ssier, her face flushed red — who knew what had just happened.

Lin Mo nodded, then grimaced. “That’s fine, but Sister Yuan also lives in this community. If she finds out we know each other too, we’re done for.”
