Maya’s instincts as a private investigator were rarely wrong, and they were firing on all cylinders now.
"Yup, Big Ross definitely has so naughty plan in mind," Natalie chid in, her tone teasing as she leaned back and smirked.
She loved using her favorite nickna for him, especially when it added fuel to the fire.
"One hundred percent—a new girl. This ti, a Japanese goddess," April said, joining in with a knowing look.
It was almost like the won had developed a sixth sense for Ross’s antics.
Ross leaned back in his chair, grinning even wider. "That wasn’t my plan at all, but now that you’ve brought it up… Hehehe…" His chuckle was unmistakably mischievous, sending groans and eye rolls rippling through the room.
"There’s no helping you, Ross," Jade said with a sigh, her displeasure evident as she frowned.
"Aren’t we enough for you already?" She gestured around the room.
Including Gwen, they were nine won strong, and she genuinely believed their unconventional family was big enough.
Jade didn’t mind sharing Ross—most of the ti—but the idea of adding more won into the mix made her uneasy.
"You’re more than enough for , Jade," Ross replied warmly, his expression softening. He stood and walked over to her, wrapping her in a gentle hug before pressing a soft kiss to her lips.
"I love all of you the sa. Even if I had a million won, nothing would change. I’d still love you all as much as I do now. That’s a promise."
His words, filled with sincerity, seed to calm Jade’s worries.
