Without warning, Ross leaned down, his lips brushing close to Tianna’s ear.
Whatever he whispered was so quiet, so deliberate, that not even the house’s high-tech listening devices could pick it up.
The microphones placed all around—designed to capture every sound, every secret—caught nothing.
Just the movent of his lips.
Just the sudden change in Tianna’s eyes.
For a heartbeat, she froze—her expression blank, unreadable.
Then everything shifted.
What happened next left the entire house in shock.
"I’ll do it!" Tianna blurted suddenly. Her voice trembled, too high, too forced.
"Co on, let’s go! I’ll take a bath!"
And just like that, she grabbed Ross’s hand—not gently, not calmly, but with urgent, shaky fingers—and practically dragged him toward the washroom, her face pale, her breathing quick.
The contestants watched in stunned silence.
"What the hell just happened?" soone muttered, breaking the silence.
But no one had an answer.
Whatever Ross had said... whatever he’d done... it had flipped Tianna’s reaction in an instant.
Too fast.
Too strange.
People exchanged glances. So raised eyebrows. So frowned in confusion.
It wasn’t just a change of heart—it was like fear had taken hold of her.
And while Ross followed with that sa composed smile on his face, eyes forward and calm, Tianna looked like she was being pulled toward sothing she couldn’t escape.
Everyone was thinking the sa thing, but no one dared say it out loud:
What did Ross whisper to her?
And more importantly—
Why did it work?
Inside the washroom, the mont the door shut behind them, Tianna’s deanor changed completely.
The calm, sweet girl from earlier—the one who blushed easily and spoke in whispers—was gone.
In her place stood soone fierce. Her eyes burned with anger, her jaw clenched tight.
This wasn’t the shy Tianna everyone knew.
This was a version of her that would fight tooth, nail, and bone to protect what mattered.
Her voice trembled with restrained fury as she began, "How did you kn—"
But she didn’t finish.
Ross raised a hand and pressed his fingers gently against her lips, silencing her.
Then, with a glance upward, he pointed at the cara mounted in the corner of the ceiling.
Without a word, he peeled off his shirt and stretched it over the lens, blocking its view.
It was a temporary fix—just enough to cover the cara’s "eyes." But that wasn’t all.
With a subtle movent of his fingers, Ross activated one of his myriad hidden techniques.
The air shimred faintly for just a mont, almost like heat waves rising from the floor.
The sound in this small space—their words, their breaths—was now isolated, sealed from the listening devices embedded in the walls.
Only Ross and Tianna would hear what ca next.
"Go on," Ross said calmly, eyes eting hers with quiet intensity. "You were saying?"
Tianna stared at him, almost in disbelief.
Then she yanked slightly on the chain that connected their wrists, as if testing him.
The tal links rattled softly between them.
"How did you know?" she asked again, voice low but sharp. "No one’s supposed to know."
Ross didn’t answer right away. He just looked at her with that maddening, unreadable smile.
"Not many people are good at hiding secrets," he replied finally.
"Especially when they’re trying too hard to appear invisible."
Tianna narrowed her eyes. "You’ve been watching ."
"Since day one."
She exhaled sharply, frustrated, caught between anger and anxiety.
"It’s not easy being cuffed to soone like you," she muttered, shaking the chain. "You’re too quiet. Too smart. Too... observant."
"And you’re too careful," Ross said, stepping closer. "Which is exactly why I noticed."
Tianna turned away for a second, hands tightening into fists.
She was cornered. Exposed. And she hated it.
But more than that—she feared what Ross might do with what he knew.
"Don’t worry," he said softly, reading her thoughts like an open book. "I’m not here to ruin you."
"Then what do you want?"
Ross’s smile deepened, his eyes never leaving hers.
"I want to have you for myself."
Tianna recoiled slightly, her expression twisting into one of pure disgust. Her voice ca sharp and cold.
"Keep dreaming."
Her tone was laced with defiance, her jaw set. But Ross only chuckled, as if he found her resistance amusing—expected, even.
"Fine," he said, shrugging lightly. "Say no all you want. But I don’t have anything to lose in this ga. You, though? You’ve got far too much on the line."
His smile didn’t fade, but the warmth behind it vanished.
He stepped closer, lowering his voice, his words now a blade she couldn’t dodge.
"You and Hugh. Real-life boyfriend and girlfriend. You think no one’s noticed how careful you are? How you don’t talk too much. How you avoid looking at each other too long. But I see it. I saw it the mont he stood up for you out there."
Tianna’s breath caught. She took an instinctive step back, her cuffed wrist pulling Ross with her.
But he didn’t let her retreat far.
"You’ve both kept it a secret to stay in the ga. You thought if no one knew, you could keep playing separately. Double your chances. Maybe even win it for yourselves." He paused, then added, with a mocking tilt of his head, "Smart strategy."
Tianna didn’t speak. She was too still. Too quiet. Her eyes dropped to the tiled floor.
But Ross wasn’t done.
"One word from ," he whispered, "and it’s over. I tell the house, the producers, the audience—hell, even a careless slip to the cara crew—and both of you are done. Disqualified for failing your own secret ultimate challenge with the house boss." The words echoed around the washroom, bouncing off the cold tiles and pressing against her chest like a weight.
Ross leaned in closer, his voice softer now—but far more dangerous.
"And when that happens, that one million dollars you’re dreaming of? The one that could pay for your mom’s cancer treatnt?"
He looked her in the eye. "It disappears. Just like that." He snapped his fingers.
