"Nice show, Karen. Well done." A portly manager said, giving a hearty high five to the 5’8" woman in heels.

She stood tall and confident, yet graceful, her presence impossible to ignore.

From the top of her naturally black hair to the tips of her perfectly polished shoes, Karen radiated a kind of effortless magnetism.

Her curves were accentuated just enough to turn heads without seeming deliberate, but it was her voice that made her truly unforgettable.

That voice—rich, sultry, and full of emotion—had already won her several hit songs and a legion of admirers.

Countless n had tried to capture her attention, but only one had truly succeeded.

Karen had a boyfriend, of course, and their relationship had beco one of the few things in her life she guarded fiercely.

"Thanks," Karen murmured, her tone a mix of exhaustion and satisfaction.

Beads of fresh sweat clung to her skin, glistening under the dressing room lights.

Tonight’s performance on the famous TV show had demanded everything she had, and she had delivered without holding back.

Every note, every gesture, every glance she had given on stage was saturated with energy and passion.

Perhaps it was this very intensity, this commitnt to perfection, that had helped her rise to the top of an industry where so many faded before their ti.

She stepped into her dressing room, expecting the quiet sanctuary that followed every performance.

The familiar scent of perfu and the faint hum of the dressing room fan greeted her, promising a brief reprieve.

She sighed and began loosening her shoes, the heels feeling especially heavy after hours of performing.

She reached for a towel to wipe the sweat from her forehead and arms, and as she moved toward her wardrobe to change, she froze.

There was soone else in the room.

Karen’s heart skipped a beat, a mix of surprise and caution rushing through her.

She had expected silence, privacy—a mont to collect herself—but instead, there was an uninvited presence.

A shadow in the corner, a figure leaning casually against the wall, watching her with an intensity that made her pulse quicken.

Her mind raced, trying to identify who it could be. A colleague? A fan who had slipped past security?

Or... soone else entirely?

Karen’s breath hitched slightly, and she straightened, her hands brushing the sweat from her arms, trying to appear calm.

Yet beneath the surface, curiosity and a twinge of apprehension stirred.

"Hello... who are you?" Karen’s voice trembled, a mixture of fear and disbelief threading through every word.

She instinctively stepped back, pressing her hand against the edge of the door, ready to bolt at the slightest movent.

Her pulse raced as adrenaline surged through her veins—this was supposed to be her private sanctuary, a brief haven after hours of performing, yet now it felt invaded.

"I’m a new fan of yours," ca the deep, calm voice of a man.

The man stepped into the light, and Karen froze. Recognition struck her instantly—how could it not?

Ross Oakley.

One of the most famous n on the planet, a man whose na had been whispered in admiration and envy alike for years.

His presence alone commanded attention, and now he stood re feet away, his gaze fixed on her as if he could see right through her.

"You’re... Ross Oakley," Karen managed to say, her words caught between awe and alarm.

"I... I’m glad you’re a fan, but... could you please—just leave my room? I’m tired, and I’d like so privacy." She tried to keep her voice steady, but there was an edge of irritation under the exhaustion.

The fatigue she felt was real—hours of performing, giving everything on stage—but her annoyance had other roots.

Her manager.

Of course he had to be involved; it would be foolish not to assu that he had let Ross in.

He knew her schedule, her routines, and no doubt thought this would be a harmless favor or a little boost to her celebrity image.

But Karen knew better. She knew what Ross’s reputation entailed.

He was a man who didn’t just notice beautiful won—he claid them, effortlessly and without apology.

And Karen was not just beautiful. She was extraordinary.

Her natural black hair frad a face that could turn heads, her body was sculpted yet feminine, and her voice—her voice—had the power to enrapture anyone who heard it.

Any man, even the most disciplined, could be swayed by her combination of beauty, talent, and sheer presence.

And Ross Oakley, with his infamous charm and irresistible charisma, was the kind of man who could not resist temptation.

Karen felt a jolt of unease.

The thought of him here, uninvited and yet so confidently present, made her stomach tighten.

She shifted slightly, subtly backing toward her dressing table, as if to create a boundary between them.

Yet despite the fear, a flicker of curiosity crept in—a dangerous, intoxicating sense of intrigue.

What did he want? Why her?

And how much of this visit was orchestrated, and how much was him simply drawn here by his own desire?

Her mind raced, trying to calculate the safest course of action.

She could ask him to leave again, firmly this ti, even risk offending one of the world’s most powerful celebrities.

Or she could stand her ground, using her composure, her allure, and her sharp wit to navigate the situation.

Karen thought, not for the first ti, that it might be a good idea to find a new manager after tonight.

Her current one seed to have a knack for creating "opportunities" that were anything but convenient.

Letting Ross Oakley slip into her dressing room, unannounced, was a pri example.

She had faced demanding schedules, intrusive reporters, and overzealous fans—but none of them had the effortless audacity that Ross carried.

Still, even with that in mind, she hadn’t been prepared for how direct—and unsettling—he could be.

"It’s fine," Ross said, his voice calm, confident, and layered with a charm that seed impossible to resist.

"It wouldn’t be nearly as fun if you were easy to get in the first place. Have a great night, Karen. I really enjoyed watching you perform earlier."
