Zhou Yan didn’t doubt Xie Feng; instead, he silently watched the Blood Pearl in Xie Feng’s hand, showing a serious expression for the first ti.
Xie Feng’s existence is akin to that of a Blood Demon Monster, yet such an existence obeyed the forr Emperor Lei Yan—just how many secrets does Emperor Lei Yan have that Zhou Yan is unaware of?
Similarly, do the others know about this?
Zhou Yan was almost certain of one thing—Emperor Lei Yan’s ability to control the Blood Demon Monster was probably unknown to Yanyan and Lee Ran as well.
In other words, perhaps Emperor Lei Yan also has his own secrets.
The deeper he delved, the more Zhou Yan knew, and the more complex everything seed to beco. However, he remained indifferent to the scene before him.
Knowing or not knowing, in essence, makes no real difference because with the current realm, knowing more of these matters does not help and does not aid in understanding Emperor Lei Yan’s actual situation.
Therefore, as Zhou Yan’s gaze wandered across those three Blood Pearls, he withdrew his doubts and intention to understand them from his heart.
"These Blood Pearls contain unique Emperor Patterns; the runes above the Tai Chu Rune are the ’Emperor Patterns’."
Zhou Yan thought to himself, nodded calmly, and said, "Alright, I understand. You can go now. Just rember your own identity and status; everything else follows the heart. But rember, try to avoid conflicts with anyone related to , Zhou Yan, understand?"
"Understood."
Xie Feng’s words were forceful, still as cold and unfeeling.
But the respect and reverence in his cold words were so evident.
"Mm, you can go."
Zhou Yan said ponderously.
Xie Feng bowed and saluted, then transford into a streak of Blood Light and disappeared in an instant.
This level of prowess indeed greatly shocked Feng Lingqing and Gu Xi; both won evidently wanted to say sothing, but sagely said nothing, instead showing a contemplative look and drawing a little closer to Zhou Yan.
Zhou Yan gently took Feng Lingqing and Gu Xi’s hands and said calmly, "Qing’er, Xi’er, you saw this, just treat it as if you hadn’t. It’s not much related to you, and being too curious won’t benefit you."
"Young master, Feng Lingqing understands, and naturally knows this matter is extraordinary."
"Brother Zhou Yan, I don’t understand anything, but I won’t tell anyone either."
Feng Lingqing and Gu Xi spoke almost simultaneously.
Zhou Yan nodded and explained, "This is more like a transformation of the Demon Heart, except that the transformation of the Demon Heart is sowhat incomprehensible, so I still need ti to derive this change. Additionally, the ntioned ’Emperor Pattern’ is an incredibly terrifying thing, far beyond imagination, and ntioning it might bring you mortal danger."
Zhou Yan emphasized.
Though Feng Lingqing and Gu Xi did not understand what the ’Emperor Pattern’ was, seeing Zhou Yan’s serious expression, they imdiately beca serious as well.
"Let’s not talk about this anymore. Given the current situation of the Xiao Family, the others there naturally won’t understand what happened, but it’s not convenient for us to stay long. Let’s return to the Gu family."
Zhou Yan suggested.
Gu Xi and Feng Lingqing always followed Zhou Yan’s lead, so they didn’t oppose.
Zhou Yan once again activated the Xuanyuan Sword, undulating the Space Point, and with the ability of space, took Feng Lingqing and Gu Xi back to the Gu family.
This ti, Zhou Yan’s Divine Power was slightly overexerted, so after returning to the Gu family, Zhou Yan did not hesitate to first let Feng Lingqing and Gu Xi each cultivate their own Tao. Combining their cultivation with Zhou Yan’s understanding, he provided them with significant guidance on cultivation, then imparted to them the cultivation thod of the "Ruoshui Scripture" he had comprehended, urging them to delve into it.
The Ruoshui Scripture originates from the forr Sword Burial Ancestor Star, in that world, Zhou Yan created emotional Sword Dao moods such as Soul Destruction, Duan Chou, Lonely, etc., with the na ’Ruoshui,’ forming the general outline of this Dao. Later, after comprehending various Supre Dao, the "Ruoshui Scripture" was continually refined, almost reaching an immortal level.
Although the gap still exists, it is far more powerful than the Supre Dao.
Such a Supre Dao, after Zhou Yan included its Secret Techniques, deeply fascinated Feng Lingqing and Gu Xi.
While the two of them were in Enlightennt, Zhou Yan finally cald his mind, beginning to comprehend his own matters.
The realm of the Sword Heart temporarily ford a shackle, after which lies the Sword Spirit.
The formation of the Sword Spirit requires the immortal Divinity to transform into the Twelve Beast Sword Spirit.
The War Beast is a later form, yet Zhou Yan now directly presents the Sword Spirit in form and aning, equaling a reconstruction of the Rebellious Bone on the original level, defying fate, already beginning to show traces on this path.
Thus, this step is indeed difficult.
The difficulty is not the realm, because, with Zhou Yan’s capability, should he wish to, he could, by devouring any resources, directly advance, achieving Sword Void, Sword Ancestor, etc., in re minutes.
Now, Zhou Yan understood that the difficulty lies in precisely such a reversal of fate, re-gathering the form and intent of the Fighting Sword Spirit.
Because the exploration in the previous life could only be considered wrong, or even if the previous life was correct, because the path itself was wrong, everything on the path was wrong too.
At this ti, Zhou Yan comprehended the Xuanyuan Sword, the Xuanyuan Evil Soul within the Xuanyuan Sword, contemplated the coagulation form and various Secret Techniques of the erstwhile Combat Body, and revisited the forr inheritance of form and intent, imrsing himself in such a state of Enlightennt.
This was also Zhou Yan’s second deep enlightennt on the Sword Burial Ancestor Star—the first was when he took the right path.
The second enlightennt, though short in ti, imrsed him, and Zhou Yan ford a brand-new mory of everything once on the Sword Burial Ancestor Star. From being born on the Sword Burial Ancestor Star to finally encountering a great battle with Hong Yuqiao on the Outer Realm Battlefield, to the chanical puppet clone Zhou Wangchen blocking Hong Yuqiao’s fatal strike for him, every scene from the past unfolded in Zhou Yan’s heart.
Ti is like a point; sotis, where you fall, you will rise again at the sa place.
This kind of mory, this kind of insight, when thought is strong enough, the speed will be incredibly fast.
It’s like the super brain of the chanical Clan, which can instantly calculate various complex Emperor Patterns, whereas these patterns would take a cultivator’s ntal capabilities hundreds or even thousands of years to compute.
At this mont, Zhou Yan’s thoughts were equally powerful. In his mind, he recalled an entire lifeti’s worth of events on the Sword Burial Ancestor Star, yet in the Gu family, not even two days had passed.
Moreover, in this recollection, Zhou Yan didn’t miss even a trace.
Joyful, happy, blissful monts, as well as sad, painful, or desperate ones, all vividly appeared.
Standing in the present, looking back on the past, even the most painful things can be taken lightly.
Standing in the present, looking back on the past, even the happiest things can also be taken lightly.
Given this, are those past events really important?
At this mont, Zhou Yan finally understood the aning of the words spoken by Brother Lee Ran, Zhuge Wuwei from Tianji Mountain, Yanyan and others.
When one stands in the present and looks back on the past, then none of the past matters are really important because what’s past is past.
If one continues to linger in the sighs of the past, then one will surely sigh in the future for inaction in the present, forming a cycle where one lives one’s whole life in sighs.
Similarly, standing in a future point and looking back at the present, then is anything now important?
The answer is the sa; it’s not important, because from a future point, looking back at the present, one will certainly feel that everything is just so, and when everything is viewed lightly, there is no need to cling too tightly.
When thoughts flow freely, and one is true to one’s heart, following it leads to true liberation.
What’s called Tao is one’s own heart.
Living out oneself, living out one’s heart is the true Tao.
Just like the oldest scriptures say, ’God said, Let there be light, and there was light in the heavens and earth.’ When there is light in the heart, there is light in the world.
The so-called Tao is one’s heart’s journey, one’s own experience, and one’s own rule.
Living a world in the heart through one’s own heart is the rule, also the Supre Dao.
Such a Tao is the true Tao.
When the heart moves, myriad images of the red dust arise. When the heart does not move, even the bustling streets will be silent; even the most beautiful beauty is just another form of life.
To cultivate the Tao, at the extre, is to refine the heart, to cultivate one’s true heart and Heavenly Dao, the heart of the myriad red dust.
Zhou Yan looked back on his life, and realized his Red Dust Heart.
This Red Dust Heart is like love; when in love, it is true love; when not in love, it truly isn’t love. Across lifetis, transcending eternity and reincarnation, it all depends on one heart.
With the Tao in the heart, myriad scriptures form the heavens and earth, and the oceans can beco mulberry fields.
Without the Tao in the heart, then spring reds wither, sumr greens wilt.
...
Zhou Yan’s insight was just like an ordinary person’s understanding of life, an understanding of oneself, truly very ordinary.
But this ordinariness is exactly the ’seeing mountains still as mountains’ return to simplicity and truth.
Just like ’Great Sound is Inaudible, Great Elephant Invisible,’ the true Tao is simple and ordinary.
Showy, intricate, magnificent, complex, those are not the true Tao, but rather a Dao Heart full of holes.
"I have pondered all my life, and in this life, I finally understand, a truly powerful person is not about having great wisdom or strong realms, but having the greatest heart power. The power of the spirit."
"Sword Heart, Sword Heart, if the heart of the sword cannot progress, it’s not the Sword Spirit that’s the problem, but the Sword Heart. But now I suddenly comprehend. The Sword Heart has a heart, so it is heart. The Sword Spirit has spirit, so it is spirit."
Zhou Yan murmured to himself, and with his words, his own heart directly flew out of his body, a translucent heart with nine orifices.
The heart flew out on its own, existing independently from the physical body.
No Supre Dao, no blood water, like a blood-colored crystal, magnificent, yet ordinary.
Fist-sized, gently beating, the nine orifices shining, crystalline and flowing.
