He pondered inwardly. "So by going by your explanation, I was born with an absurdly strong Soul Physique that gave my absolute ability, one with seven ability effects. A unique Body Constitution that gave my ultimate ability, one with five ability effects. And at last—A uniqueness of —that gave a unique innate ability with three ability effects."
"Correct," Clentine smiled, her eyes dancing with a mix of pride and calculation.
Pleased that he understood the importance and reality of what he had, she added, "In fact, you could declare proudly; you were born with one of the highest-ranked soul physiques and none would have the response to refute the claim. Because that is the absolute truth." Her words were a gilded crown, resting heavily upon his young brow.
’So I’m really strong, huh?’
Aezaleon gazed ahead, his lips spreading into a lecherous smile. ’It won’t be long before I surpass this wife of mine completely, and when that ti cos, I’ll discipline her thoroughly for all that she has done to or will do in the future.’
He licked his lips.
Imagining many upon many inappropriate things that a child should not have in his mind. anwhile, of course, Clentine sensed these fluctuations. Sothing that only made her more amused. Her wonderful lips spread into an arc of a teasing smile. Her amusent was like a predatory feline watching a mouse dream of becoming a lion.
"Actually, do you know, husband—a secret of your beautiful wife; that she also has an absolute ability!?"
She questioned in a playful voice. Aezaleon, on the other hand, froze completely. His grand thoughts crumbled down the next second as the reality that he might not ever be able to surpass her sank in.
"Don’t worry, husband. My absolute ability is currently locked, as it is incomplete. Because when I died, it had also suffered so major damage and during my soul-body restoration and reconstruction there simply wasn’t enough energy to complete it. Not to ntion, I would need an enormous amount of energy to unlock it completely, which I don’t think is possible currently. Not until I reach rank 10 again. So I only have two ability effects active at the mont, aning you have so ti to catch up to or if you’re lucky and more talented, even surpass ."
UGH!
"You really don’t see as a man, do you?" Aezaleon comnted with a frustrated voice.
"Well, if we go by your actual age, you cannot even be considered a baby, let alone an adult," she smiled. While he beca even more irritated.
"In any case, can you tell what your absolute ability and its ability effects are, husband?" Clentine changed the topic. "If I’m right, then the ability should’ve also provided you with a powerful Law and also the corresponding Law’s concepts to comprehend." Her curiosity was a sharp needle, probing for the seams of his soul.
TSK!
’She calls , husband, but looks at as if I’m a child. How annoying!’ Aezaleon grumbled. He nodded outwardly, his expression remaining flat. "Alright." He closed his eyes and focused on the information inside his head.

"WoooH! It really is a strong ability, huh? !"
Clentine looked at Aezaleon, her eyes gleaming in amazent. Considering the mont she knew that he had an absolute ability, her whole perception of him had changed.
If previously she viewed him as soone with enough potential to reach her level of strength when she was alive and even surpass it—[Because he had contracted her, an absolute ability user. With her guidance and a bit of luck (plot armor) many things were possible]—now the latter was practically guaranteed.
Alas, this would only be so until her absolute ability is incomplete! Clentine was like a sleeping volcano, dormant but still radiating a terrifying heat.
...
HMM! ...
"Now I know why you were able to withstand the soul pain I gave you on our first eting. How your soul wasn’t squashed by despite the clear difference between us. It must be because of the second ability effect—Throne of Undying Continuum—it gives you an insane amount of soul defenses!"
Clentine comnted in an insightful tone. Using her knowledge to identify the base functions of his ability effects, which were all on the mark.
"As for it being only partially active... If I have to guess...!"
"Then it must be because your material and spiritual ascension cores haven’t fused yet. A step you have to complete eventually if you wish to transcend the mortal."
Aezaleon listened to Clentine’s info dump carefully.
The theories she ca up with were always so accurate. She even predicted correctly why his 2nd ability effect was active only partially. If not for that, he wouldn’t have suffered so much against an unintelligent calamity that was only one rank higher than him.
Actually, most of his abilities were defense, utility, and support-based; that was why he was so weak despite having one of the so-called strongest powers of the cosmos. He was like a fortress with impenetrable walls but no archers on the ramparts.
" ... Huh?"
"A utility-type ability effect capable of resurrecting the user on death. Truly a rarity amongst rarity!" Clentine gave him a sharp, scrutinizing gaze. "Though—Eternal—I wonder if that makes you sothing akin to an Undying being or sothing similar. I suppose for the lack of offense, your ability makes it so that you can die again but you also have strong defense, so killing you won’t be easy either."
Her lips curled.
"Such a frustrating combination in the hands of a calamity who has !" she boasted in a confident tone. "A dangerous combination indeed," she nodded. "Afterwards the fourth and the fifth ability effects, which we already know about. They are kind of similar to necromancy, as in relation with the dead souls, but at the sa ti are also vastly different from necromancy. Then the—"
"Necromancy!?"
Aezaleon interrupted her, his expression full of question marks. On the other hand, it only took a mont for Clentine to realize that Aezaleon did not know what necromancers were for obvious reasons. Therefore, she took so ti to explain to him about what these creatures were.
"Undeads, huh?" Aezaleon muttered. "A race born from Death! How mysterious!"
"Indeed, necromancers are the masters of dark sorcery, unlike Witches who dabble in the arcane sorcery and the power of runes. However, both have one thing in common: their hunger and greed for knowledge. All in all, necromancers are dead monstrosities that thrive in war, where death and chaos reign."
"Anyway, about your last two ability effects: and ... The forr is the most important while the latter—I don’t know much about it. However, if I have to guess by the na—Infinity—most often than not, they are geared towards growth, evolution, and potential regardless of the type."
"Anyhow, back to the subject..." Clentine waved her hand. "Even though any ruler-type abilities aren’t strong as they are, but what they do is really what makes them different from any other offensive, defensive, or other types of abilities."
"The holder of these types of abilities are essentially born with the information of the higher-ranked Laws and Concept Tiers imbued within their bodies or souls. They just have to learn these Laws and concepts, which one of the sub-abilities of the ability makes much, much easier for them. Whereas others have to do a lot, fulfill a lot of conditions and factors to even have the qualifications to comprehend higher-ranked Laws and Concept Tiers. Still, even then, it isn’t guaranteed that they would succeed."
