In the end, Aezaleon simply shook his head and grabbed the claymore in his right hand.
"Whatever!" He looked towards the calamity, that still hasn’t recovered from its terrible state. "It survived that, huh?!"
He raised his brows, appearing a bit surprised and a bit amazed. "Doesn’t matter, the show has co to an end, so the boss has to die regardless of then or now," he comnted in a lethal tone.
Stretching his fra and feeling the uncomfortableness from his movents, he noted that his body was still in the process of outward regeneration and internal restoration; it hadn’t completely healed yet. His ndng flesh felt like tight parchnt being stretched over a drum.
"Nevertheless, with my energy back to hundred, I think I am just about strong enough to be able to kill this deer in its current state." Aezaleon nodded to himself.
Imdiately afterwards, he shot towards the calamity.
The beast couldn’t do anything but simply watch death approaching him. It didn’t even have enough energy left in its body to move because of the cold that seeped deep into its bones and material energy core and the frost that froze its nerves and muscles.
It was—[Movent Impairnt]—of course, working synchronously with—[Lesser Frost]—to suppress it. As a pureblood, Aezaleon was perfectly capable of the simultaneous usage of 5 inferior concepts, so 2 was not that much of a big deal for him.
With 60 m/sec acceleration, it only took Aezaleon 5 seconds to reach the Galescourge Bearer.
He stopped just a few ters away from the 4-ter-tall deer, locking his gaze with its purple eyes. Despite death standing before him, the calamity remained calm, showing an arrogance and fearlessness unbefitting of one terd—Savage! The creature stood as still as a granite statue awaiting the sculptor’s final blow.
Sothing that even Aezaleon had to admit was unique; such a distinctive attitude, not everyone had it, even if they were strong intelligent lifeforms. Considering the fear of death, most often than not, overwheld any other forms of emotions.
And this uniqueness, to find it in a savage calamity, even he admired it.
"SIGH! ... If only you were intelligent..."
Aezaleon shook his head, now out of nowhere feeling quite regretful on having to kill such a talented calamity in spite of being thrashed by it just a few monts ago.
’Haaah...! Must be because I am still too young.’
"What are you feeling complicated for? You do know that you’re soone capable of giving her sentience, correct!?" Clentine questioned as she landed beside him, making the calamity shocked. It wasn’t able to sense her at all.
However with death fast approaching, it didn’t take long for it to collect itself. It watched, its prey doing sothing incomprehensible to him.
"What do you an?"
Aezaleon narrowed his eyes at her. "I don’t think I have any ability capable of giving her sentience. Not to ntion, you said [Her] but this calamity is clearly a [He] so what’s with that?"
Clentine blinked, looking at the Galescourge Bearer then at Aezaleon and repeating the process a few more tis. "Um. From where do you find this deer a—[He]? I can’t even see a d**k, so what made you co to that conclusion?" she questioned him in a mocking voice.
—[Ahem. Proper ladies shouldn’t say such vulgar words!]
"UH..."
Aezaleon, not expecting such a question, could only reply with what he had observed previously and now. He gave the deer a look, then refocused on Clentine.
"It has such dense and defined muscles. Also the thick coat of fur, I don’t think female calamities would have such masculine features, no? As for the dick, I suppose it must be hidden sowhere in that thick coat of fur."
"Aezaleon, oh my dear husband, you can’t make a [He] into a [She] or a [She] into a [He] just because you thought the [She] looked like a [He] or had features similar to one. That’s absurd and utterly stupid, do you understand ?"
Clentine shook her head while voicing her disdain. *er lecture was like a cold splash of water hitting a drear.
"Anyhow, you don’t have to look at the appearance to find a lifeform’s gender, since a female has a completely unique spectrum of energy wavelengths compared to a male."
She voiced, her expression amused. "Sothing you will co to learn eventually as you et more males and females in the future from many different races and species. So finding the actual gender of an individual won’t be a problem. Well, as long as they aren’t a master of Illusions or had not comprehended corresponding types of concepts."
"This is such a useless topic; instead, why don’t you answer my first question, Clentine?" Aezaleon waved his hands to dismiss the point.
"Ooh? That..!"
Clentine smiled and spoke while looking at the Galescourge Bearer.
"As soone with a Ruler-type ability. Not just one but two, your bloodline has fulfilled the condition to beco—[Unique], beco one of a kind and acquire the Transformation-type unique ability of a calamity——Don’t you rember the ability with three ability effects?"
Clentine comnted in a curious tone.
"That’s the one I’m talking about." However, on observing his lost expression, she didn’t need to know or hear anything else. That alone gave her all the answers she needed.
"I suppose I can’t bla you either that you didn’t rember anything, considering your age. Also, since you’ve never utilized it before, not even once, you must have forgotten about it."
"Oo! I think I—"
"Hmm!"
Clentine turned to the left.
Towards the north, her eyes narrowed dangerously when she sensed the presence of an absurdly powerful rank 4 calamity fast approaching them. Her focus shifted like a compass needle snapping toward a magnetic pole.
A second afterwards...
ROOOOAAARR!
A monstrous roar echoed—a lion’s roar!
It was shaking and booming. Literally, as the ground shook, rumbling, and the temperature rose abruptly. But as quickly as it ca, it dropped too. Why? Because of Clentine, of course.
With a re wave of her hand, the cold air encompassed both Aezaleon and the Galescourge Bearer, protecting them from the extre heat, temperature and the corruptive radiations of the elent—Burningblight!
Her other hand stretched forward.
She muttered while observing the fla breath like a profane beam of malignant energy coming towards them at a supersonic speed past 500 m/sec.
It was one of the approaching calamity’s abilities—.
A drop of blood ca out of her palm, splitting into hundreds on hundreds of even smaller particles, which spread out around them forming a red translucent spherical barrier, in all but a re second.
Subsequently, the mont the barrier was ford, the fla breath hit the shield the next second.
BOOOOOOOOM!
It was a loud explosion, creating a lot of light, but even then, the barrier didn’t even flinch. It was as though what the flas hit was not ant to be. It was not supposed to be. So it won’t.
The barrier stood as firm as an ancient mountain resisting a sumr breeze.
The strong flas of Burningblight dispersed the second they touched the barrier! It was really a marvelous sight to see yet also a bewildering one parallelly.
