With a thunderous roar, the land in a radius of many kiloters turned into Hell. A massive earthquake occurred, followed by the formation of many blazing volcanoes.
Fortunately, Liora had already predicted that such a thing would happen and had fled as soon as she gave the command to the Fire Elental to attack.
Floating in the sky, she lowered her head and gazed down silently, ready to observe the final outco of the battle.
Even with her strength, Liora found it difficult to capture the movents of these two beings.
Not only were they extrely quick, but their every movent seed to be beyond her cognition.
But soon after, Liora had an answer to her doubts.
Not because she witnessed the outco, but because of the putrid sll assaulting her nose.
She recognized that sll. It was the sll of burned flesh.
Sure enough, a mont later, the Zerg Hive showed up in the outside world and fell into her gaze.
Although her aura was still overwhelming and oppressed the world around it, her current state was extrely embarrassing.
The hair draping over her shoulders had been cut off abruptly and was still on fire, while her dress and skin behind it were covered in burn marks.
Most importantly, half of the Zerg Hive’s face had lted, revealing the bare bones and a floating eyeball hidden beneath it.
"How dare you?! How dare you injure ?! My face! My beautiful face!"
A shrill cry erged from her mouth.
Her words were extrely similar to what she had uttered not long ago.
It was just that this ti, it was many tis more deafening, containing anger, embarrassnt, and most importantly, unabashed hatred.
Judging by her reaction, the attack of the Fire Elental had brought her great harm.
But Liora did not have the ti to celebrate.
The mont her words fell, all the emotions on the Zerg Hive’s face vanished abruptly.
Her gaze beca cold as she turned her head and looked in her direction.
Imdiately, their pair of eyes t, clashing through the air.
"Not good! A soul attack!", Liora instantly realized.
She was about to urge the Fire Elental to co and protect her, but unfortunately, it was already too late.
Her eyes grew hazy once more as her pupils beca increasingly empty.
But this ti, the sharp pain and the warnings of the Void Whisper failed to wake her up.
The continuous battles and the many soul attacks she had suffered earlier had already accumulated many injuries on her soul, rendering Liora’s Myriad Devils Body ineffective.
The next second, her body shattered.
Her blood turned into smoke, her skin turned into dust, while her bones transford into grains of earth.
With a sweep of the wind, the last traces of her having ever existed disappeared.
Seeing this, even though she had experienced a lot, the Zerg Hive couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.
She had never expected that a re Lesser Devil would push her to this point.
Not only had the opponent forced her to take back her "Divine Blessings", but they had also seriously injured her.
"Thankfully, everything is over...", the Zerg Hive whispered, and her eyes flashed with faint disappointnt.
Due to the urgency of the situation, she had been unable to keep Liora’s corpse intact. This ant that she would be unable to devour her and thus strengthen herself.
But soon, the disappointnt was replaced with excitent.
"The World Origin is still there. With this person gone and the Will of the World asleep, devouring it should be fairly easy—"
Just when the Zerg Hive was in the middle of her thoughts and was about to think about her next course of action, she noticed the temperature around her rise.
When she turned back instinctively to look at the reason, her eyes reflected the falling hand of a creature purely made out of fire.
"How is this possible?!", she scread.
These were her last words.
Already injured and caught off guard, she didn’t have the ti to put up any defense. Under the Fire Elental’s attack, her body was burned alive and split apart, while her soul was ultimately extinguished.
With her death, the Fire Elental lost its source of energy.
After it exhaled for one last ti, the flas making up its body went out, transforming back into Devil Runes.
Soon, even the Devil Runes dispersed.
By this point, there was no longer any living creature in the capital and its surroundings.
The land throughout this area had been utterly devastated, while several auras remaining behind collided, turning this place into a forbidden area.
Silence spread as the powers of fire, illusion, and darkness fought against each other and slowly rged.
Everyone else’s traces had disappeared, whether it was from Liora, the Zerg Hive, the Founding Emperor, or even the Pope.
It was very likely that no one would ever learn of the battle that had occurred here. Before long, this once lively place would turn into the legendary location where the stories sung by the bards took place.

Eleanor stared blankly at the blue sky above her head, unable to understand what had happened.
The scene she had just witnessed resurfaced in her mind.
The rain of blood, the crack in the sky, and the continuous trembling of the entire continent replayed again and again.
At the sa ti, the scene where the many Great Knights and Kings of Knights had exploded, and the beasts had retreated back into the Ancient Beast Wilderness, was still etched in her mind.
Eleanor could not make sense of the situation.
All she knew was that sothing very important had happened. Sothing that would alter this world’s destiny forever.
Subconsciously, a familiar face couldn’t help but erge in her mind.
Perhaps it was a coincidence, but she couldn’t help but look towards the capital.
With her re True Knight strength, she was unable to see what was going on there. But strangely, her intuition told her that this was the source of all the chaos.
