Images flashed in front of Liora’s eyes as her consciousness was pulled out of her body and rose to the sky.
She began watching the world from a high-level view.
Its rules were revealed before her eyes, while its way of operation no longer remained a secret.
Liora saw the Ancient Beast Wilderness, the recently established human empire, the forbidden zone that had ford around the previous capital, as well as the ruins left behind by the Blood Sea’s existence.
It was not just seeing them.
In fact, Liora felt as if she had beco part of the world and all of the above were rely different aspects of her own.
Subconsciously, her thinking speed started to slow down, while her emotions quieted down at the sa ti.
If Liora were not in such a peculiar state and could look at her face at the mont, she would discover that her expression was becoming increasingly indifferent.
This indifference did not stem from coldness or apathy. Rather, it was an expression devoid of any emotions.
Ti passed as Liora sensed this happening and understood that there was sothing wrong, but was unable to stop it.
Slowly but surely, she and the world rged, as if she were turning into the new Will of the World.
But suddenly, sothing awakened within her.
Her Unknown Bloodline, which had not displayed its extraordinary characteristics since the ti she obtained it, finally reacted.
Her blood shook violently while her demonic energy surged.
The next mont, an oppressive aura spread with her as the center.
The images in her field of vision began to shatter.
First, the earth cracked, and then fractures spread through the rest of the world.
With a loud bang that seemingly reenacted the universe’s creation, the world was finally broken apart.
Liora’s consciousness returned to her body. She was sowhat surprised to find that she was still in the dimly lit room, still facing the cluster of World Origin.
It was as if the previous experience had all been an illusion, a re creation of her fantasy.
However, Liora knew very well that it was not.
The images she had seen and the sense of closeness she had felt to the world were not a dream, but the impact of the World Origin on herself.
"Although it didn’t put up any conscious defense, the World Origin’s subconscious influence still affected . If I had not woken up in ti, my consciousness would have indeed turned into a new Will of the World.", Liora thought.
But upon further thought, she shook her head.
"No. It would be more accurate to say that the Will of the World would devour my consciousness. With my current strength, I would never be able to fully control a world. Sooner or later, I would end up being assimilated."
In fact, this had little to do with power but had everything to do with one’s level.
The operation of a world was extrely complex.
Every second, every mont, millions of rules and laws intertwined and worked together, all in order for the world to operate and remain stable.
This ant that one required an extrely strong consciousness to be able to take in, analyze, and control all that information.
At the very least, she, a re Lesser Devil, couldn’t.
Thinking of this, Liora couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief when she recalled the earlier situation.
"Fortunately, my Unknown Bloodline reacted in ti. Otherwise, my life would have been in danger.", she thought.
While Liora was thinking, her consciousness expanded and spread throughout her body, wanting to check on her current state.
She had initially expected that her bloodline’s devouring of the World Origin would have brought her so benefits, such as an enhancent in strength or new abilities.
But when she took a closer look, Liora discovered nothing.
Her physical strength had remained the sa, and the sa was true for her soul and demonic energy.
For a brief mont, she couldn’t help but wonder if she had been mistaken.
Could it be that her bloodline couldn’t devour World Origin?
However, upon investigating further, she finally discovered a change.
Within her body, a tiny part of her blood had turned gray and shimred with a white brilliance, seemingly existing between reality and illusion.
Liora didn’t know why that was, but she had a certain suspicion.
Any other Devil would have needed to conduct a thorough investigation of their bodies to check the source and effects of this sudden change.
Fortunately, Liora had another, way easier, choice.
Thinking of this, she didn’t hesitate and summoned the System Panel.
With a faint hum, a translucent window soon materialized in her field of vision.
...
[True Na: Liora Veythalis Dranthera Vexira...]

[Evolution Points: 385,455]
[Current Absorption Efficiency: 25x (Normal Devil = 1x)]
...
Many things had changed in the panel, though only a short ti had passed.
Her Base Stats had improved significantly, reaching the peak of the Lesser Devil Stage, while her Evolution Points had also skyrocketed.
She had never possessed such a large number of points before.
Of course, this didn’t co without a cost.
Each Evolution Point represented the soul of another being, aning that tens of thousands of creatures had t their demise and ended up as her nourishnt.
Of course, the greater part of the points did not co from ordinary beings, but rather, by her devouring the souls of powerful enemies.
The Founding Emperor, the Beast Emperor, and even the scattered remnants of the Zerg Hive’s soul—these were the biggest source of Evolution Points.
However, although these were the most noticeable changes on the panel, Liora’s eyes did not stay on them for long.
After briefly glancing over them, her gaze shifted to the Race column, and the number that had been added right beside it.
"One percent.", Liora whispered.
Though there was no further information given by the panel, this and her earlier suspicions were already enough for her to guess quite a few things.
