Several Devils were sitting together in the stands, staring at the arena below with cold eyes.

If anyone were to take a deeper look at them, they would realize that all these creatures looked similar to the "tal Demon" fighting below.

This was not a coincidence.

These creatures and the tal Demon were all part of the sa Devil race, aning that they were all Graveplate Devils.

At the front of the group stood the most powerful person among them.

His power reached the peak of the Lesser Devil stage, and he was fairly close to advancing further and becoming a True Devil.

Of course, "fairly close" was a very vague term, and it didn’t an much.

A person described as such might be able to advance the very next second, but it was as likely that they would not advance until their lifespan ran out.

Regardless, due to his strength and deanor, it was obvious that this person was the leader of the team.

In fact, he was the Graveplate Devil who had gathered the mbers of this race, asking them to band together to seek greater benefits in Bloodflower City.

Thus, when he witnessed one of his most talented subordinates getting entangled in the arena below, he couldn’t help but grit his teeth.

Despite this, he didn’t dare to take action.

He knew the background of the Demon Colosseum best and understood that, without becoming a True Devil, offending its owner would an certain death.

"Help! Save !", the tal Demon’s thunderous voice soon echoed in the arena, both his desperation and fear apparent.

The Graveplate Devils in the stands knew that his shout was addressed to them.

Or to be more accurate, it was addressed to the person standing at the front.

Unfortunately, this person didn’t seem to have heard his subordinate’s pleas for help.

His gaze remained cold and indifferent, having steeled himself not to take action.

No one doubted his judgnt. They knew that this was the smartest decision and, for Devils, was also the most logical option.

However, just when everyone was ready to watch the tal Demon die, an emotionless whisper rang in the ears of the Graveplate Devil group.

Several inexplicable, garbled words echoed directly in their minds, and in an instant, their eyes grew increasingly hazy.

As if they had communicated beforehand, demonic energy erged from their bodies and poured into the man at the very front, serving as his fuel.

Feeling his strength getting stronger, the man did not show any emotion, as if it didn’t matter to him.

Like a puppet whose strings were being controlled, he waved his hand, creating a gigantic, pitch-black sword in the air in front of him.

Then, he lowered his hand and swung it down, towards the arena below.

The audience did not have any ti to react.

Before they could understand what was going on, the Graveplate Devil’s strike hit the array, shattering it before moving towards the two challengers below.

Judging from its trajectory, it was abundantly clear that its target was none other than Alpha.

The first to recover was the announcer.

He made a move forward and wished to prevent the descending sword from harming the fight’s participants, only for his right hand to be instantly annihilated and ground into pieces.

The sword did not stop after sending him flying.

It continued falling, looking ready to harvest Alpha’s life next.

By now, everyone had realized the goal of the attacker. They wanted to save the tal Demon by killing his opponent.

Although no one could understand where they got the guts to do so, they knew that this was a matter for later.

So of them couldn’t help but glance at Alpha with pity.

Though she had won the fight and should have received a reward, she was now going to die instead.

Even if the attacker was punished afterwards, it didn’t matter.

Ti would not turn back for her. She would remain dead.

Amidst the whole crowd, the only person who remained calm was the person being attacked, Alpha.

Although she could feel a sense of impending doom while her instincts constantly warned her of danger, she didn’t show any panic.

In fact, she didn’t even try to evade or take back her own attack.

She continued using Life Infusion, controlling the tal spear to shoot towards the tal Demon.

Under such a complicated situation, Alpha suddenly sensed that so changes were taking place within her.

Continuous clicking sounds ca from within her body as if several chanical gears were turning, while a faint glow flickered above the chanical core hidden inside her.

However, it seed that she would not be afforded the ti to complete her transformation.

Before she succeeded, the falling sword would wipe her out.

Or at least, that was how it seed.

That was, until suddenly, the person that Alpha had been waiting for finally took action.

The air above her head shook as a figure appeared in front of the falling sword and raised their hand to et it.

Compared to the sword’s size, the figure was many tis smaller, like an ant facing an elephant.

Judging just from the size, everyone could foresee that this daring person would soon die, crumbling under the pressure of the powerful attack.

But sothing unexpected ended up happening.

The mont the sword’s sharp edge ca into contact with the otherwise unassuming hand, its forward montum suddenly stopped.

A clicking sound echoed before several cracks ford on the sword’s surface, which quickly grew more and more obvious.

The next second, a bang rang. The sword shattered, blasted into pieces.

Watching this scene unfold, most of the Devils in the stands were shocked.

They had just witnessed the announcer stepping forward and trying to stop the sword, only to be pushed back and severely injured in just an encounter.

One had to rember that the announcer was soone at the peak of the Lesser Devil stage. Yet, he failed to stop the attack, getting injured in the process.

Didn’t this an that the person who had just shown up was actually stronger than them?

Were they also a, more powerful, Lesser Devil?

Or even...?

As soon as this thought arose within their minds, several Devils shook their heads, denying that notion.

They didn’t want to believe that this was the case.

Otherwise, the outco of today’s events would never end up being simple.
