Although the Northern Lands were only one of the five major regions, their size was enormous.
Being part of a dium-level world, just the Northern Lands region was larger than the entire world of Knights. The sa held true for the other major regions.
If one were to ask what its most important landscape was, different people would have different answers.
However, if the person asked happened to be a Warrior, they would imdiately give the sa answer:
The Grandmaster Summit.
--
The Grandmaster Summit was an ancient mountain located at the very center of the Northern Lands.
Just like several other major landscapes in the region, it was rumored that it was packed with demons in the ancient past.
However, thousands of years ago, a powerful Grandmaster erged and happened to slaughter them.
From then on, this mountain beca a symbol of a Warrior’s power, hence the na.
As these were only ancient legends passed down in the books, few people visited the mountain in the present day.
Yet now, hundreds of powerful beings had unknowingly gathered in the Grandmaster Summit and were slowly ascending it.
"Sect Leader, is there any reason why we’ve all gathered here?", a young woman wearing a long white robe stared at the people around her with curiosity.
She could see mbers from several powerful sects.
Ice Phoenix Palace, Supre Human Temple, Heaven Sect...
These powerful sects, which one would only et once in a while in the past, had now unknowingly gathered here.
Moreover, though the woman had only just recently beco a Master, she could sense that all the people who ca were very powerful.
Clearly, unbeknownst to everyone, hundreds of Masters had gathered in this otherwise ordinary mountain.
The man leading the way did not respond. He rely shook his head and replied:
"Junior sister, you’re going to understand why later..."
"Have you ever wondered why our Supre Sword Sect can remain so powerful?"
"Why is everyone talking about the Blood Devil Sect and about that crazy woman, yet none of the major sects care?"
"Today, you might be able to take a glimpse at the truth of this world."
As he spoke, the man’s face shone with ambition as he led the group of Masters towards the mountain’s peak.
--
Similar conversations were held in most of the sects, as several young Masters were filled with doubts.
None of the Sect Leaders answered the questions, rely giving them so hints and ordering them to remain respectful.
Yet, for the first half of the day, nothing occurred at the Grandmaster Summit. Every sect found its own location and settled down, causing the mountain to fall into silence.
It was only a few hours later, when the sun was about to set on the horizon, that everyone finally set out in unison.
Before long, the Sect Leaders of dozens of sects led the Masters to the peak of the mountain, where two people were already waiting.
It was a young, innocent-looking woman and a middle-aged man. The two turned their attention to them upon their arrival, though none of them spoke.
Although everyone here was a Master, no one could sense any aura from these two people.
Just when so Elders thought they were mortals and were about to drive them away, however, several Sect Leaders respectfully bowed down.
"Welco the Divine Envoys."
The youngest Masters were surprised, yet most of them seed to already know the truth. They followed the lead of their Sect Leaders and bowed respectfully, the eyes of so of them flashing in fear.
"Get up!"
It was only when the middle-aged man among the pair spoke that these people dared to stand up.
Several of them looked about to speak when one of the Sect Leaders suddenly stepped forward.
It was the man who had previously expressed his disdain towards the Blood Devil Sect, the Sect Leader of the Supre Sword Sect.
"I’ve long heard about the Divine Envoys’ arrival."
"I’ve already prepared the sacrifices, numbering almost one hundred thousand."
"Moreover, since I learned of the Divine Envoys’ visit, I decided to add one hundred thousand more people to the count."
As he spoke, the man’s voice grew ever more flattering, and it was obvious that he wished to carry favor with the pair.
A white-robed woman in the back, his Junior Sister, was stunned.
How co her Senior Brother, who was usually cold and arrogant, now behaved like this?
Not only was he respectful and flattering, but he seed to be groveling to earn the two people’s favor.
The woman then grew even more shocked.
Before anyone else could react, her Senior Brother bowed his head once more and spoke up:
"There have recently been rumors that the Divine Envoys are planning to take in so servants and have them follow the envoys to the Central Area."
"If that’s the case, this Sect Leader is willing to stand up for the occasion. Though I’m not very strong, I’ve always been very talented."
"I believe that I might be able to beco a Grandmaster in the future!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the woman was no longer the only shocked person.
Even the several Sect Leaders who knew the truth were now stunned.
However, this was not because they were surprised. Instead, they were angry with themselves.
How co they had not thought of this before? This was a supre chance!
As long as they reached the Central Area and had a chance to beco stronger, would it really matter if they beca servants?
"Divine Envoy, I’m also the sa. Moreover, I’ve also studied several things over the past few years. I can serve tea, paint portraits, and even dance..."
"Divine Envoy, don’t pay attention to these old n. I have a Junior Sister. Although she is not very talented, she has a very nice figure..."
"Divine Envoy..."
Soon, the famous Grandmaster Summit was plunged into silence, with the Sect Leaders’ words being the only sound throughout the area.
