An unfathomable aura spread from the Blood Devil Sect as the center.
Initially, it only impacted the nearby forest and the sect itself.
But in just a mont, the powerful aura had spread throughout the Northern Lands and then even further.
In the blink of an eye, it had covered the entire continent.
At the sa ti, a giant gash appeared in the sky above the Blood Devil Sect, revealing the dark void outside and stunning everyone.
A white light flickered within the boundless darkness, causing everyone who looked at it to feel a strong sense of unease and gloom.
These people did not understand what the white light represented.
But Liora, despite being deep underground, could see the light’s true appearance.
It was a colorful streak of lightning.
It erged from the depths of the Origin Sea and quickly shot towards the Demon Weapon World.
Although it was very far away, Liora instantly noticed its threat.
Even compared to the ordinary mortals and Warriors, the danger she faced was even more obvious.
That was because the lightning’s target was none other than the weapon she had just forged.
Recalling the various rumors she had heard in the past, Liora reacted pretty quickly.
With a move of her hand, her demonic energy wrapped up the Demon Weapon prototype, and with another, the space cracked and swallowed them both.
When they reappeared, Liora and the Demon Weapon were no longer in the Demon Weapon World.
Instead, they were in the dark void that served as the ho of countless worlds, the Origin Sea.
Liora had been here before, and as such, did not feel the need to admire this place for long.
After setting up a defense around the Demon Weapon World, she flashed towards the distance, sat beside the weapon, and waited.
She did not have to wait for long.
A few seconds later, the lightning appeared at the very edge of her vision and rushed in her direction.
Only a blink of her eyes later, the lightning was practically next to her.
Liora sensed its power and her body instinctively trembled, as if it were her natural enemy.
She could see that the lightning’s power surpassed the Greater Devil stage, and this was just the beginning.
Judging from the rumors and her bloodline mories, the situation was bound to beco even more grave in the near future.
However, Liora did not fret.
She did not wait for the lightning to strike at her and the weapon, but instead took the initiative.
Her demonic energy enveloped the weapon prototype, and her figure flickered, appearing in front of the lightning’s trajectory.
Then, she put up several layers of defense.
Devil Runes flickered and ford several defensive formations, while the power of Nothingness descended and covered her and the weapon.
Her demonic energy flared, while her Myriad Devils Body was pushed to its limit.
The mont she finished her preparations, the lightning in the distance struck.
A deafening crash echoed throughout the Origin Sea, spreading not only in the Demon Weapon World but also in the worlds surrounding it.
Liora and the weapon’s silhouettes vanished.
They were engulfed in the brilliance of countless blinding lights.
White, purple, red, blue, gold.
Several types of lightning assaulted them at the sa ti, each targeting a different aspect of them.
So hoped to deal directly with one’s consciousness, others sought to destroy their physical body, while others targeted other parts of one’s existence.
Standing at the epicenter of the impact, Liora’s body shook.
Her skin was torn apart, and her bones shattered, while her soul seed to be bitten by countless tiny ants, as if her very essence was slowly being wiped out.
The Indestructible Matter covering her body and soul reacted on its own.
It began pouring into her and helping her recover, consuming large amounts of it with every passing second.
Fortunately, Liora had already advanced and could now create Indestructible Matter on her own.
Otherwise, if she were still a True Devil and had to use her Manifestation to absorb the Divine Aura of other creatures, the consumption would have long drained her away.
Liora suffered great harm.
Yet surprisingly, she was actually not the lightning’s main target.
Most of the damage was actually borne by the weapon prototype, which was actually the lightning’s real target.
Thunder Tribulation—this was the na that people in the worlds practicing cultivation would call this phenonon, and although it was sowhat different, the cause of the lightning was roughly the sa.
The weapon that Liora was planning to forge seed to surpass the limits set by the Origin Sea for the creatures living under it.
The power of ti within the weapon had defied the Supre Laws, and it was now suffering their punishnt.
The weapon prototype started to crack as the lightning poured into it.
Although it was tougher than Liora just based on its identity as a weapon, it had yet to be truly born.
It was only Liora’s demonic energy and Indestructible Matter that really held it together; otherwise, this weapon would have long been destroyed.
Unfortunately, Liora’s ddling seed to have provoked the Supre Laws even further.
Not only did they not stop bringing forth their punishnt, but the lightning beca even more dense and powerful.
Even more colors appeared on its surface, and it continued striking at the two "rebels".
The confrontation between the three was fierce.
Just its aftermath was enough to seriously injure an ordinary Greater Devil, much less the surrounding worlds.
Only a few seconds after the "Thunder Tribulation" started, the weaker worlds nearby were driven to extinction.
Their brilliance gradually went out, and before long, their World Origin ran out.
As a result, the worlds were led to their final destruction.
The continents, planets, or whatever form they had, split apart, and all the creatures in them inevitably perished.
Liora had no ti to pay attention to these.
She continued fighting against the lightning while doing her best to keep the weapon she had forged intact.
Ti passed.
Seconds, minutes, hours...
Liora gradually lost track of the ti. She couldn’t rember how many tis her body had been destroyed only to be reborn thanks to the Indestructible Matter’s help.
All she could know was that the Thunder Tribulation had now beco even more violent, able to threaten even creatures at the peak of the Greater Devil stage.
"However, it should be ending anyti now..."
"The Thunder Tribulation is both a punishnt and a test."
"Although this weapon defies the Supre Laws, it hasn’t reached the point where it must be destroyed. As long as it withstands the divine punishnt, it should be okay.", Liora thought.
Her thoughts were soon proven to be correct. Only a few monts later, the colorful lightning finally began to retreat.
Its volu grew less, until finally, it completely vanished.
Soon, only Liora and the fractured weapon remained beside the mostly ruined worlds.
It seed as if the two had really succeeded.
However, Liora was not too happy.
Although the lightning had indeed vanished, her intuition was still sending her warnings.
If anything, the sense of danger had now beco even more apparent.
It was not any weaker than when she faced the projections of the two higher-level worlds, making it clear that the threat had reached the Archdevil level.
Only a mont later, Liora understood why that was.
From the depths of the Origin Sea, where the Supre Laws resided, a black brilliance suddenly appeared. It teleported through ti and space and ignored the worlds along the way, soon appearing above Liora.
Following a thunderous clang like the ring of a death knell, the black-colored thunder descended at a terrifying speed.
