Besides the congratulatory ssage for her successful advancent, there were also several extra details regarding the functions of Level 1 Authority and what it entailed.
Liora ignored most of them, mainly focusing on the Battle Arena, which Elena had specifically reminded the students about.
She was not surprised by the ssage’s arrival.
Once an Awakener advanced, they could request to conduct an examination of their strength within the Information World.
Once it was confird that they had advanced and they possessed strength corresponding to that Rank, their authority would be upgraded automatically. At the sa ti, their information in the Human Federation’s database would be updated accordingly.
"With my Rank 3 strength, I might not be able to upgrade my Authority to Level 3, but Level 2 should be a given. Unfortunately, there’s no plausible reason to explain my abrupt leap in strength."
"I can only wait for a suitable opportunity to expose my strength."
Liora’s hunch told her that this mont was not very far.
It was likely she would get the opportunity she had been waiting for once the examination was over, and she successfully enrolled in an academy.
With that thought, Liora moved her gaze toward the small arena symbol that had erged at the edge of her vision.
Just like the ssage button before it, it also had a red dot on its bottom, as if urging her to press on it.
But Liora restrained herself. She first had to take a look at the second ssage.
Dismissing the Information World’s prompt, the scroll unfolded even further, letting her read the ssage right below it.

"Liora, I heard you awakened an SS-Rank talent! Congratulations!"
"I’m really sad to have not been there to witness it in person! Fortunately, I can be certain that we will et very soon!"
"Tink! Tink! Buzz!"
"Alright, I won’t keep you busy any longer. You should focus on the upcoming College Examination! Click! Click! However, you should add as a friend! Here is my Information World ID: ..."
"As long as you elevate your Authority to Level 2, we will be able to et in person! Okay, that’s it. I’ve sent you a congratulatory gift for your awakening. It should arrive within the next few days."
"Hehe. Don’t miss . We will speak again soon—ay, Luna, what are you doing?"
"No! Put down the vial! This is an Awakening Potion! Bad cat! Bad cat!"

The first part of the ssage was normal, though its tone was bizarre. Yet, once it reached near the end, it was cut off abruptly.
As she went through the ssage, Liora seed to see the image of a black-haired woman fiddling around with advanced technological equipnt while leaving a ssage, only to be attacked by a thieving cat.
As for why Anna didn’t try to record the ssage again and send it afterward?
Liora shook her head.
She knew that there was sothing seriously wrong with her aunt’s head.
If she had to describe it... she would compare her to those mad scientists one would see in the movies.
Liora did not know exactly what Anna’s field of research was, and the latter seed unwilling to say much.
However, she knew that Anna’s status in the Human Federation was quite high.
Though she had left the Nova Terra Planet a few years ago and had left her alone, Liora’s status had not diminished in the slightest during this period.
If anything, from the admiring looks of the instructors and the Dean, Liora knew very well that her aunt was thriving.
"My aunt awakened the S-Rank talent chanical Alchemy a few years ago. I wonder what her strength is by now. Has she reached Rank 3 yet?", Liora wondered, soon shaking her head and dismissing that thought.
After noting down her ID and sending a Friend Request, she closed the ssages and focused on the arena button that had been flickering all this ti.
As she pressed on it with her mind, everything changed in an instant.
The world darkened, and her body dissolved into particles before she was transferred.
By the ti her vision beca clear again, she had appeared in a colossal arena.
The floor beneath her feet was made using futuristic tal and shone like a neon sign, while audience stands could be seen along the arena’s edges.
Before Liora could observe any further, a chanical female voice echoed directly in her mind.
"Welco, Awakener Liora Augustus! Would you like to start a Battle Simulation or participate in Blood Arena?"
Information poured into her mind along with the question.
Liora imdiately learned what these two terms referred to, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each option.
Battle Simulation was relatively straightforward. Once selected, the Battle Arena would create a virtual opponent according to the user’s requirents. The two would then have a battle.
Everything related to the opponent could be changed. Their talent, the number of enemies, and even their combat experience could be adjusted freely.
As for Blood Arena? This didn’t require the user to create opponents. Instead, they would be sent to fight against other users just like them.
Though there was no risk of life-and-death and safety was guaranteed, the battle was said to be several tis more effective than the simulation, albeit more ntally taxing.
At the sa ti, to urge Awakeners to participate, the Human Federation had created a power ranking, rewarding users as they climbed up in ratings.
"If one had to describe it, this is the difference between a PvE and a PvP ga. There are even additional PvP rewards on top.", Liora nodded her head, figuring out everything.
At the sa ti, she felt that the Blood Arena was quite similar to the Crucible Ranking she had once experienced.
However, she only briefly thought about that. Soon, her consciousness swept past the arena and communicated with the Information World, requesting to start a Battle Simulation.
She directly stated her requests.
"I wish to match against an opponent at the peak of Rank 1. They should have an A-Rank talent. Its type does not matter. As for their combat experience...", Liora stroked her chin.
"Let it be at the level of an ordinary Rank 7 Awakener."
The mont her words fell, and she confird her choice, numbers and words erged before her.
Soon, they fused into a humanoid silhouette.
The opponent had the appearance of an ordinary human man, one who would be lost if they appeared among a crowd.
The only strange trait he possessed was that his eyes were empty and devoid of human emotions. Or rather, devoid of emotions except one—boundless murderous intent.
As soon as he appeared in the arena, the opponent didn’t let out a single word. Shoving his foot against the ground, he rushed at Liora and attacked her with all his strength.
