Instead, every city had its own Assessnt Hub, where the assessnt would take place every year.
When Liora opened her eyes again, she found herself in a vast, dark void.
Only three points of light existed, each coming from a device similar to the Awakening Stone she had seen during the Awakening Ceremony.
The only difference was their color. One was green, one was red, while the last one was golden.
Just as Liora was inspecting them, the space above her cracked.
Symbols and patterns materialized, fusing into the figure of a blue-haired woman.
Her blue eyes were empty, devoid of human emotions and any emotional fluctuations.
"Welco, Awakener Liora Augustus.", the woman stated, her voice cold and chanical.
"I’m the person responsible for today’s assessnt. Please follow .", she soon followed up, gesturing for her and walking towards the three glowing devices.
Liora did not argue, but followed her guidance.
Soon, the two stopped in front of the first device, the green stone with squirming patterns and symbols.
Seeing Liora’s gaze at it, a hidden chanism within the woman appeared to have been activated.
"This year’s College Examination is divided into three parts. Or rather, three of your characteristics will be assessed. First, your talent and its potential.", she said, pointing at the green stone before moving her finger towards the red one.
"Second, your compatibility with Cosmic Energy. As for the last..."
Finally, she pointed at the golden stone.
"The Information World will assess your Spirituality. More precisely, it will assess the activity and potential of evolution of your genes. Together, these three assessnts will directly determine your future.", she said.
Having said that, the woman did not speak any further. She calmly gestured for Liora to move forward, urging her to touch the first device.
Liora did not try to ask any questions. Seeing her cold deanor and the lack of emotions in her voice, she deduced this woman was not a real human but an artificial intelligence, similar to the AI Assistant sent by her aunt.
Thus, she chose to follow her orders. Stepping forward, she placed her hand on the first device, causing it to activate nearly instantaneously.
Its power surged, washing over her physical vessel. It dug into her essence and focused on her genes, intending to inspect her true talent.
