Unlike Liora’s previous several transformations, this one didn’t last for very long.
Before she could even read all the ssages blinking in her field of vision, the warm current retreated, and a newfound strength arose within her, signaling the transformation’s completion.
Yet, although the ti it lasted was very brief, Liora had changed completely, as if she had beco a different person.
Even though she had witnessed the power of the System many tis before and its ability to interfere with the Demon World’s rewards was already shocking enough, this incident increased her awe toward it.
But soon, Liora shook her head.
She pushed these matters aside for the ti being, turning her focus to the constantly flickering ssages flashing before her.
There, the results of her transformation were vividly displayed.

Faced with this enormous amount of information, even though Liora had been prepared beforehand, it was inevitable that she froze for a brief second.
Thankfully, her advancent to a Lesser Devil had not only increased her strength but also her thinking power, allowing her to quickly go through this information and digest it.
Soon, her furrowed brows relaxed, and a rare expression of joy flashed across her face.
"All of my abilities, apart from a select few, have transford completely. Not only has their power increased dramatically, but they’ve also beco far easier to use."
Take Shadow Manipulation, for example.
Before, Liora could either shuttle through shadows or create weapons made of darkness to attack her opponents.
Now, she could not only do that, but she could also manipulate the darkness itself for her own use.
Attacking, defending, concealnt—all of these were now possible.
"Moreover, the abilities I awakened are only half a part of my overall transformation. The other—my body—has also undergone massive changes."
Clenching her seemingly weak fists, Liora felt the air around her tremble while even the dark space itself seed to be impacted as if it were unable to contain her existence.
"My physical strength has gotten at least ten tis stronger. Coupled with my new and upgraded abilities, my combat power has skyrocketed."
Feeling this, Liora understood that she might have severely underestimated the power of Lesser Devils.
Previously, she had been almost certain that the Myriad Devils Armor would have allowed her to escape from a Lesser Devil if she were to et one, but now, she heavily doubted it.
With her current strength, she didn’t even need to cast any ability to kill her forr self.
A re wave of her hands would have caused her forr self to turn into blood mist.
"Of course, it’s very likely that I’m an outlier. Other Lesser Devils may not be as strong as .", Liora whispered.
Secretly, she felt that spending the two hundred thousand Evolution Points had been absolutely worth it. Even though she had beco a pauper, her strength filled her with confidence.
While she was adjusting to her skyrocketing strength—becoming more comfortable with her own body—Liora didn’t forget to summon the System Panel.
She wanted to take a look at her current information and compare it with the previous one.
As her mind moved, a window shimred into existence before her.

Just like everything else in Liora, the Panel displaying her information was now completely different.
Her base stats had all received enhancents of varying degrees, breaking past the one-hundred-point threshold, while the System’s soul-absorbing efficiency had increased tenfold.
Just when Liora was ready to take a deeper dive into the displayed information, though, the infinitely vast dark space around her shook, and from it, Liora sensed an anthropomorphic aggrievent co out.
Before she could understand why that was, the space before her tore apart, and a human-shaped gap appeared, a gap that moved on its own and swallowed her whole.
The void trembled and exuded a sense of satisfaction, as if it were happy to have finally evicted its unwelco guest.
Then, it swiftly disappeared, turning illusory and fading back into nonexistence.
