Neil didn’t focus on the ssages, he quickly drank one Essence regeneration potion after another.

After drinking more than ten bottles, his cores were sowhat half full.

Thankfully he didn’t lack the potions or the shards.

[Agility Lock Activated!]

[Agility Lock Target Selected!]

Neil quickly changed his position, his body turning into a blur as he stole half of the Frost Bear’s agility.

The centipede was dead, it left both the remaining creatures shocked, they quickly turned in the direction from where the spear appeared.

But there was no one.

Using this mont, the sly scorpion bit into the Giant Bear’s feet, injecting more poison before jumping back.

DRRRRRRRRR

The Beast King growled, hateful eyes looking at the puny scorpion.

Neil, having filled his cores to the brim, was ready to launch another attack, but chances of the sa trick working again were low.

That’s where Leon’s distraction would co in handy.

He controlled the spear to secretly return to him, but the Frost Bear still noticed it.

BANG

Swinging its left arm, the bear threw the spear away, roaring madly.

TAK TAK

Right then, two arrows flew towards it, nearly piercing into its eyeball but ended up hitting the eyelid.

The Beast King’s gaze focused on the figure in the distance, he saw the elf and a familiar.

But before it could rush, the spear flew back as a figure suddenly appeared between the two creatures, catching it.

A dark mist coiled around his body, the air surrounding him hissed violently as the fog warped his form into sothing unrecognizable.

The Frost Bear trembled, a strange look of recognition appearing over its bruised face, the beast seed to know that energy.

While the Ten Tailed Scorpion froze as it saw the tall figure of the phantom, absolute darkness surrounded the fiendish creature.

KIIEEEEE

Its body shivered and without a thought, it turned, trying to flee.

Yet, a thin line suddenly appeared over its body, then one more, and soon its body was covered by hundreds of thin lines.

The phantom’s hands moved at an unbelievable pace, delivering hundreds of strikes within monts.

SPLASH

The thin lines enlarged as a wave of brownish blood poured out, then its body fell apart, cut into countless pieces.

In this form, a Silver Class creature was nothing for Neil, especially since its limit must have been just Gold Class.

Just like humans, beasts too possess synergy which decides how far they can go in evolution.

It decides their maximum rank and maximum class in each rank.

So this scorpion could only reach Gold Class at max at each Origin, quite similar to how humans worked.

But, the main challenge was that enormous beast, one of whose claws alone was bigger than Neil.

[You have killed a 3rd Origin Silver Class Ten Tailed Scorpion!]

One of Cinthia’s teachings rang in Neil’s mind as he stood before the enormous Frost Bear King.

"It is only through battle that one grows the fastest, delving into their hidden potential.

Reaching enlightennt that would have taken years. Your skill holds so much more, rge it with yourself, rge it with your surroundings, let it be the bridge.

Reach the state where the skill isn’t separate from you, turn it into a form of you."

Releasing a long breath, his body shot forward, as a wave of lava struck the bear from the back.

He controlled its own blood to pierce deeper into the wounds.

BANG

Shooting out the spear, Neil took out the dual blades.

As it pierced into the Beast King’s forehead, the bear finally seed to return to its senses, roaring back.

The bear understood that this phantom was not what it had t before, that was too powerful.

Rage filled its eyes for getting fooled, as the bear suddenly stomped.

Neil jumped, his body shooting up, as the blades slashed heavily at its body.

The dual blades had no rank and their power depends completely on Neil, so they could manage to cut the skin of the bear.

BANG BANG BANG BANG

Several arrows struck its head in succession, as Leon did his best to draw its attention.

Neil held his breath, moving the fastest he had ever, using so much strength that pain shot through his arms.

He climbed up the giant body, hoping to directly aim for its brain.

He couldn’t control the fluids inside the Bear’s body unfortunately, but the wave of toxic lava flooded its body.

But a wave of extrely cold energy enveloped Neil, then the Frost Bear shot a pillar of ice, smashing his body into the ground.

Neil felt a wave of pain all over his body, despite the Frost Bear being so badly injured, he was still no match.

Both were Mythic creatures, so it was not shocking.

Sharp ice pieces pierced through his skin, the cold seeping into his body.

Thankfully, his speed was faster than the Frost Bear, as he dodged the next strike and moved away.

In the phantom form the self healing was a bit faster but not enough.

’I have to target its head.’

Neil released dozens of slis, which jumped and quickly reached near the feet of the Beast King.

While the bear’s eyes almost got pierced by the distant arrows, it roared, stomping and throwing a large ice stone.

BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM

All the slis exploded at once near the Frost Bear’s feet, making it roar in pain, as it stumbled over.

Neil jumped up at this mont, a disc of gel appeared under his feet, pushing his body upwards.

Neil threw both the swords, aiming for the eyes of the giant bear, while he punched out with all his might at the spear embedded in its forehead.

BANG

The swords didn’t manage to land but Neil successfully punched the spear, as blood gushed out and it scread.

ROOOAAAAARRRRRRRRRR

Mustering every bit of its strength and using so sort of skill, strange tattoos appeared over the Frost Bear’s body, filling it with power.

’Wait that’s... similar to a phantom but much weaker...’

Neil was still in the air as he saw the sudden change.

The speed of the Beast King had increased all of a sudden, as a horrendous wave of cold froze his body completely.

BANG

Then a punch connected with his body, the force was enough to instantly break several of Neil’s bones, almost killing him.

He crashed into the ground, creating a large crater, that one strike had drained Neil of nearly all his vitality.

Several pieces of stone had pierced through his belly and chest, leaving critical wounds.

He coughed and with unfocused eyes looked at the Beast King, hatred still brimming in them.

His armor, which was only at the 2nd Origin Mythic Class, had taken most of the damage, otherwise Neil really would have died.

’Not yet, I am not... done yet...’

Neil raised his right hand, stirring the essence in his body to shoot out blades of liquid.

[Aquamorph Activated!]

But it had no effect as the Beast King launched yet another punch, striking the ground with so much power that it cracked the area around.

BOOOOOM

Seeing this, Leon and Magnar were startled, they hurriedly ran forward while attacking the bear.

In the deep pit, the red armor was nearly destroyed, Neil’s body in a mangled state with nearly all his bones broken.

Each breath made his throat and lungs hurt...
