The barrier finally cracked...
"Let’s enter!! All the food will belong to us!!" Arlo shouted, he was going back to be a king again.
If this Lukas guy is dead, what could even Hiroshima do, he could do nothing but compromise.
A few people remained engaged with the giants, the rest ran forward while dodging or parrying the arrows.
The elven archers created distance but physical strength wasn’t their forte, they could easily be killed by these 2nd Origin lords in a direct fight.
The guardian in the tallic armor rushed forward, putting aside the elental bow and pulled the two red blades.
Nemo could access Neil’s spatial storage, so she could use all the weapons with his permission.
BANG
With explosive force, she blasted several lords back, her tall figure looming over them as she kept slashing.
A guardian couldn’t leave the domain, but now these lords were already entering.
"Hold on, master will be here soon!!" Nemo’s voice reverberated.
Arlo was surprised, so Neil had given the command of his guardian to his assistant?
Only a few people can do that, not all ai assistants are capable and many might not trust it.
The elven archers, Nemo and the giants were all surrounded, barely holding on.
"Kill them all, leave none alive!!" Arlo scread, joy flashing through his eyes. Then his gaze moved to the core building which still seed as if it was burning by black flas, looking ominous.
’That’s unusual, is there a treasure inside? I have to take it first!!’ he thought, after sweeping a gaze around, he hurriedly moved forward.
It won’t be long before all the subjects would be dead, they were unmatched in both numbers and strength.
He looked at the various buildings, and wondered where the ethereal beauty is hidden.
’It doesn’t matter, all of this will be mine pretty soon. But where is that Lukas hidden like a rat?’
Arlo felt confident and wild, like he could do anything and no one could stop him.
With a victorious grin, he arrived in front of the door, extending his hand he pushed it.
OUCH
Instantly, searing pain shot through his palm, he pulled back quickly.
There was a deep cut, blood dripping onto the wooden floor and disappeared, as if getting absorbed.
"H- Huh? What’s... happening?" Arlo was shaken, his mind filled with questions.
BOOOM!
Just then a wave of energy exploded, sending Arlo crashing down into one of his own n.
A pillar of darkness rose above the core building, a bloody scent spreading in all directions.
All of them suddenly started to feel weak, whether it be the giants, the elves or the human lords, they all paused and stared at the supernatural phenonon.
"Is the lord of this domain evolving? But what the hell is this? It’s like a natural disaster!!" all of them exclaid, frozen stiff.
ROOAAAAARRRRRRRRR
A terrifying roar thundered out of the building all of a sudden, as if created by a deadly abomination.
More than a dozen lords scread as they clutched their heads, their pupils bursting into a bloody ss.
They fell to their knees, nails digging into their scalp, while the other lords either fell unconscious or lost control of their bodies.
BOOM BOOM
The heads of many exploded all of a sudden, the atmosphere turning to horror, all of them were terrified.
A wave of dark mist swept all over the domain, spreading further, lting all the snow in the surroundings.
For a few monts it seed as if the snowfall had stopped, the world had gone silent and finally the black flas from around the domain disappeared.
Arlo’s eyes were bloodshot as he mindlessly stared at the core building, unable to even move his finger.
’H- How could this be? Have they kept a terrifying monster here? I am already at silver class, how can this be?!!’ He was utterly terrified.
The door opened abruptly, as a blurry figure ca out like a shadow.
His eyes were pitch black with absolutely no human emotions, black blood gushing at high speed through his veins.
It was as if a dark bloody mist was constantly emanating from his body, the sight alone terrified the few remaining lords.
"What... is that?!!" a man muttered, his body trembling, the figure in front of them looked far from human.
They couldn’t see clearly with all the fog surrounding him, but that was not human at all.
Dreadful screams ca out from deep within their hearts, they had lost all their fighting spirit and just wanted to run.
The troops weren’t affected by any of this but they too were surprised to see the figure shrouded by the dark bloody mist.
Neil’s evolution had succeeded, reaching the 2nd Origin Classless, his body had undergone drastic changes.
But right as the evolution ended, he slled blood.
His mind consud by bloodlust, his body directly took the Phantom form, but now he could feel how incomplete it was.
The monster stood there, gazing down at the shivering figures, for a mont confusion flashed through his eyes.
But then, looking at the troops in his domain, Neil regained his senses and understood the situation.
His rage and bloodlust exploded.
[Agility Lock Activated!]
With a violent burst, his figure disappeared, making everyone on the ground cry in terror.
"W- Wait spare us, w- we didn’t an to- ughhhh wha-" the man pleaded but suddenly felt sothing twist in his body.
Looking down, he found half of his body had been torn away, intestines and blood leaking out.
Arlo tried to stand but he suddenly felt even more sluggish, as if his agility had been stolen away.
Neil felt a strength like never before, a guttural roar escaping from his throat, like a beast on a hunt.
His bloodlust almost materializing, heart thumping crazily, the only thought remaining was to kill them all.
"Lord..." Leon was standing near the entrance, his eyes wide in shock, was this really their lord?
A few minutes ago, they were all struggling against these lords. And now Neil was wiping them out all with such ease, he really looked like a death bringer right now.
The snow that covered the ground was painted with red as screams of the lords kept ringing, they begged for soone from the settlent to save them.
They regretted coming to this place, cursing their greed and Arlo for initiating it.
If given a second ti they would never even set a foot out of the settlent.
But it was all too late and they could not have second chances like Neil. The demonic figure moved swiftly, ripping their bodies to pieces, rcilessly killing them with such coldness.
Before long, all n except Arlo were dead, Neil walked up to him feeling an intense desire to have a taste of blood.
Controlling his urges, he reverted back to his human form as the fog finally dissipated and he beca visible.
His clothes looked like rags now, blood dripping from his hands, and a terrifying chill sweeping out of his eyes.
"You are Arlo?" Neil asked, this ti he hadn’t even used Aquamorph yet still transford into a phantom.
Just by the scent of blood, it made him feel uneasy.
He could still rember the intense emotions he was just feeling, carnage, death, slaughter was all that was in his mind.
On the other hand, Arlo was crying, tears streaming down his cheeks and he even had a wet patch over his pants.
