Michael took a quick glance at his Intelligence stat, knowing he'd soon need to spend a significant amount of mana again.

"110," he muttered, a satisfied smile forming.

Gone were the days when his Agility stat could pete for the top spot.

Now even Agility trailed far behind.

Still, Michael felt conflicted about his highest stat.

Over 100 points in Intelligence, yet he'd only gained two skills from it.

{Share Senses} and {Acid Shot}.

All his other magical skills—{Bone Spear}, {Slow Curse}, {Bone Armor}, and {Corpse Explosion}—came as quest rewards or through Advancement.

Skills like {Basic Shot} and {Spearmanship} were obtained through actions.

{Bone Spear} had been granted upon his Advancement to Rank 1.

It was mon knowledge that acquiring a skill for every 20-point increase in a main stat was more of a rare bonus than a guarantee.

Knowing this didn't make it any less frustrating, but it softened the blow.

Michael shifted his focus away from his status panel.

Since he hadn't yet begun the undead revival process, there was no need to allocate his attribute points just yet.

With the sheer quantity and purity of his mana now, he doubted he'd run into issues reviving monsters similar to those from before.

The only exception might be when using that scam of a skill, {Undead Summoning}, on his Rank 1 undead again.

After a quick glance at his surroundings, Michael prepared to get to work.

As for scouting, he didn't need to bother.

Michael could simply use {Share Senses} with the undead scattered within a 100-meter radius.

The ones closest to his location were Lucky and Prince, who he'd checked on multiple times while storing items in the Land of Origin.

The two had stopped bleeding and looked a bit better—at least on the surface.

They were fit for bat again, though they'd still perform below their peak until fully healed.

Michael suspected full recovery would e either from digesting something valuable or through evolution, which he theorized restored creatures to their prime.

If he opted for evolution, Prince would be the first to recover.

Prince's evolution required 125 Evolution Points, while Lucky's needed a staggering 625.

That was a lot of points.

It was clear Lucky would have to wait a long time before fully healing.

After assessing the state of his undead through their shared connection, Michael focused on the task at hand.

He retrieved the jars of dead insects from his storage space, placing them on the ground in front of him.

"Which one should I start with?" he murmured, excitement evident in his voice.

There were five types.

Ghost ants, praying mantises, crickets, blue morpho butterflies, and caterpillars.

Though Michael wasn't well-versed in these insects, the store owner had provided brief explanations about them as pets.

Ghost ants were tiny, measuring about 1.3 to 1.5 mm in length. They were known for their speed and adaptability. Their pale bodies and dark heads made them appear almost translucent.

Praying mantises were something Michael was a little familiar with.

Praying Mantis ranged from 4 to 10 cm in length and were skilled predators with powerful front limbs for grabbing and holding prey.

They were known for their precision and ambush tactics, often blending into their surroundings to surprise their targets.

Crickets were monly known insects, even in another world like Aurora.

They measured between 2 to 5 cm and were recognized for their powerful hind legs, which allowed them to jump great distances relative to their size.

Blue Morpho butterflies had a wingspan of 12 to 15 cm and were known for their striking, iridescent blue wings.

Michael had to admit these butterflies were quite beautiful, but even as he thought this, the emotion in his eyes as he looked at them didn't change.

The caterpillars Michael brought were also quite interesting. It was the Spicebush Swallowtail Caterpillar.

This fascinating caterpillar had a unique appearance and intriguing behavior.

According to the stall owner, as a juvenile, it resembled a bird dropping to avoid predators. In its later stages, it mimicked a small snake, with large, false eye spots on its body to scare off birds and other threats.

It was a strangely beautiful creature, and Michael took a little time to appreciate it.

All in all, each of these insects had interesting traits about them.

Perhaps this was how most of the entire insect kingdom was.

Michael couldn't help but wonder how things would change if he could evolve them.

In the end, Michael decided to start with the Ghost Ant.

After carefully pulling one of the bodies out of the jar without crushing it, he placed it on the floor in front of him and immediately used {Undead Revival}.

As the skill took effect, Michael couldn't help but feel a bit nervous.

While he didn't foresee any issue with the revival failing due to it being an ant, the fact that he was trying to revive an ant—something so small and seemingly insignificant—felt odd.

However, much to Michael's surprise, the revival process was not only successful, but surprisingly easy.

[Undead Ghost Ant Lv. 1]

[Rank: mon★]

It had been much easier than expected.

But whether this was because of the strength difference between them, or some other reason, Michael didn't dwell on it for long.

Instead...

Seeing the 36 evolution points, Michael didn't hesitate for long before making his decision.

"Evolution points, show me your limits!"

As soon as Michael spoke, the same glowing light from his previous evolution experience enveloped the Ghost Ant's body.

However, this time, there were no screams.

Perhaps it was because the ant didn't have vocal cords. It simply thrashed about slightly.

It didn't take long. .

The light around the Ghost Ant intensified, and slowly, its body began to grow, being taller and more imposing.

And within moments.

It had reached a meter in height.

Clearly, it was no longer the Ghost Ant it once was.

No… Stay updated via empire

It had a new name now.
