At the same time, the Third Prince screamed again.
One of the shockwaves pierced through the defensive layers and slammed directly into him.
CRACK!
The prince’s arm instantly twisted unnaturally.
His body tumbled violently across the ground while blood sprayed from his mouth.
At this point, his elegant appearance had pletely disappeared.
He no longer looked like a noble prince of the Black Serpent Empire.
He looked terrified.
Panicked.
"MURDER!"
"HE’S TRYING TO KILL ME!"
"STOP THEM!"
The prince hysterically screamed while desperately crawling backward across the shattered ground.
His screams echoed throughout the ruined flying port continuously.
"MURDER!"
"STOP THEM!"
"MASTER VEYL!"
At this point, the prince no longer cared about dignity or appearance.
His luxurious robes had already been burned and torn apart from the explosions. Blood covered half his face while one of his arms hung twisted unnaturally beside him.
Fear had pletely overwhelmed him.
Meanwhile, the remaining servants slowly continued advancing through the smoke.
Their movements looked stiff and unnatural. Several of them were already missing limbs, even though Michael had tried his best to preserve their bodies from pletely collapsing during the earlier detonations.
One servant’s lower jaw had already disappeared entirely from a previous explosion.
Yet somehow, the thing still smiled while continuing to walk forward mechanically.
The sight alone was enough to make nearby guards shiver instinctively.
Master Veyl’s face looked extremely ugly.
"Kill them immediately!"
BOOM!
Terrifying flames erupted outward from the old man once more.
Several servants were instantly incinerated into ash.
However, before their bodies could fully burn away, they exploded.
BOOOOOOM!!!
Another violent blast erupted directly against Master Veyl’s flames.
The old man was forced backward once more.
This time, his expression finally changed pletely.
At this point, even he had begun feeling genuine fear.
Not because of the servants themselves.
But because of the person controlling them.
What kind of monster could remotely manipulate dozens of bodies this way while simultaneously implanting enough power inside ordinary mortals to threaten a Great Stage existence?
Even Master Veyl himself could not acplish something so absurd.
Meanwhile, the remaining servants suddenly split apart.
Some charged directly toward the prince.
Others targeted the surrounding guards.
And several more charged directly toward the nearby flying ships.
The Third Prince’s eyes nearly bulged out from terror.
"STOP THEM!"
Unfortunately, it was already too late.
BOOM!
A servant slammed directly into one of the docked imperial flying ships before detonating instantly.
The ship exploded into flames immediately.
The surrounding guards screamed while desperately jumping backward.
Another servant suddenly tackled an imperial mage who had only just arrived at the port moments earlier.
BOOOOOOM!!!
Both figures vanished instantly inside a pillar of corrupted black fire.
The entire flying port descended into plete chaos.
Even Priscilla’s expression became increasingly pale while watching the destruction unfold.
At this point, this was no longer merely an assassination attempt.
This was an open declaration.
The Third Prince of the Black Serpent Empire was currently being hunted around his own port by the controlled corpses of the very people he had personally sent out himself.
How ridiculous.
How humiliating.
And yet, not a single person present found the situation amusing.
Everyone could feel it clearly.
The cold killing intent hidden behind every single attack.
Then suddenly, the servants stopped moving simultaneously once again.
The abrupt synchronization instantly caused the Third Prince’s scalp to go numb.
Slowly, the last remaining servants turned toward him one final time.
Then, that cold young voice echoed once more from every mouth simultaneously.
"You enjoyed it?"
The Third Prince froze pletely.
The servants smiled wider.
"The way she begged while you cut her head off. Yes... I’m assuming she begged. What’s done is done, I guess. Still... how can you be so cruel?"
BOOM!
One of the nearby servants suddenly exploded again without warning.
The shockwave directly blasted apart several imperial guards who had been shielding the prince.
Blood splattered across the Third Prince’s face.
The prince screamed again while crawling backward pathetically.
"I DIDN’T—!"
BOOM!
Another explosion interrupted him instantly.
At this point, Master Veyl looked furious beyond measure.
"ENOUGH!"
The old man finally stopped holding back pletely.
Terrifying flames erupted into the sky.
The entire flying port turned crimson.
A massive flaming domain instantly descended upon the surroundings.
Within moments, the temperature surged to a horrifying degree.
The remaining servants’ bodies rapidly began blackening and burning apart.
However, even while burning alive, they still smiled.
Then, one by one, they charged forward again.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
More explosions erupted continuously.
The flying port shook violently each time.
Cracks rapidly spread across nearby buildings.
Several defensive formations around the capital even activated automatically due to the disturbance.
And slowly, the servants’ numbers finally began decreasing.
Until eventually, only one servant remained.
A skinny middle-aged man missing half his chest.
His body swayed weakly from side to side.
Yet somehow, he still remained standing.
Master Veyl’s flames surged around him cautiously now.
Even the old man no longer dared approach recklessly.
The servant slowly lifted his head.
Then he looked directly at the Third Prince.
At this point, the prince looked utterly miserable.
Covered in dust.
Bloodied.
Trembling.
The servant smiled.
Then softly spoke with Michael’s voice one final time.
"Wait for me. You can’t run."
The Third Prince’s entire body stiffened instantly.
Then the final servant exploded.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
The last explosion was the strongest yet.
The remaining ground of the flying port pletely collapsed inward.
The final shockwave swept violently across the surroundings.
Several nearby structures shattered outright.
Even Master Veyl was forced backward while coughing blood lightly from the accumulated damage.
Silence slowly descended across the flying port afterward.
Or at least, what remained of it.
The once grand docking grounds had almost pletely collapsed inward from the repeated explosions.
Cracks stretched across the earth like giant spiderwebs while burning debris and shattered ship fragments littered the surroundings everywhere.
Several flying ships still burned in the distance.
Smoke rose endlessly into the sky.
Blood stained the broken stone ground dark red.
Corpses and body parts were scattered throughout the ruined port while the surviving guards stared around with pale expressions.
Some still trembled uncontrollably.
Others looked pletely dazed.
Even the surrounding protective formations of the capital continued flickering unstably from the aftereffects of the explosions.
The atmosphere felt suffocatingly heavy.
Meanwhile, the Third Prince remained collapsed upon the ground.
His body trembled slightly.
His luxurious robes were ruined beyond recognition.
One arm remained twisted unnaturally while blood continuously dripped from the corner of his lips.
At this point, the prince no longer looked elegant or noble.
Only miserable.
And terrified.
Master Veyl slowly landed nearby while suppressing the violent fluctuations inside his body.
The old man’s expression looked extremely ugly.
This was humiliation.
A plete humiliation.
The Black Serpent Empire’s prince had nearly been assassinated openly inside another kingdom’s capital by controlled corpses.
If news of this incident spread outward, the empire would lose face pletely.
