Michael raised his hand slightly, his eyes glowing faintly green as he reactivated [Eye of Truth]. He wanted to see how deep this

transformation had gone.

Just as he suspected, Ace's cultivation aptitude had undergone a drastic change.

Michael's brows arched slightly. "His spirit roots... increased."

Before the evolution, Ace had only possessed one-a Wind Spirit Root. But now, three distinct roots glimred in Michael's vision, each with its own color and pulse. Alongside the familiar azure strand of wind, there now existed a deep hue representing darkness, and a serene light-blue thread that embodied water.

Wind and darkness-both high-grade. Water, mid-grade.

Michael wasn't surprised. In fact, part of him had already expected this outco.

He studied the spiritual diagram further, tracing the flow of energy that spiraled through Ace's ridians. They weren't just wider-they were cleaner, reinforced, refined. The difference between his

previous self and this new version was like comparing a wooden flute to a steel pipe.

However, it was now, observing the complex network of roots and channels, that Michael truly understood Jester's earlier words.

"More spirit roots don't always an better," Michael murmured to himself.

He could see it clearly.

"It's a double-edged gift," Michael said softly.

For cultivators, balance and purity of energy mattered more than quantity. Having multiple spirit roots was a blessing only if one could utilize them all in harmony. Otherwise, the surplus beca a burden.

"To a cultivator, too many roots can cripple you," he thought. "But to a mage..."

His lips curved faintly. "It's the opposite."

In a mage's world, variety was strength. The more elents one could command, the greater their versatility and potential. Between the two systems-cultivation and magic-each had its own logic, its own truth. Michael let the [Eye of Truth] dim and weighed the result with a nod. Ace had changed-but at his core, he was still human.... just refined. His physique didn't touch a High Human's brutal baseline but against ordinary people he now stood far above the curve.

Physical strength, though, was only one pillar of the High Human race. What Ace lacked in raw fra, he had gained back in talent.

He had inherited a surprising portion of the "soft" advantages: cleaner ridians, faster recovery, heightened sensitivity to elents, and so

on.

It was, by every tric, an upgrade.

And the conclusion revealed sothing else to Michael-a door he hadn't noticed until now. Because Ace was still human, he remained eligible for a racial evolution. If Michael wished, he could push him further... raise him into a High Human.

His gaze lingered on the green irises that mirrored his own. A High Human layered atop a Blood Servant-what would that produce?

However, though the thought was tempting, Michael believed this much was enough for now.

Michael studied Ace for a long mont, then finally broke the silence. "How do you feel?"

Ace blinked, his chest rising and falling in uneven rhythm. He swallowed hard, still trying to steady the strange pulse in his veins. "It's... hard to explain, my lord," he said hoarsely. "Everything feels..."

It was obvious he couldn't describe his current situation with words.

Ace hesitated, then added, "And you... I can feel you."

Michael's brow lifted slightly, though his tone remained calm. "You can feel ?"

Ace nodded, his hand instinctively rising to his chest. "I can't describe it well, but it's not painful."

Michael's expression didn't change, but the faint light in his eyes deepened. "It's an after effect. Don't worry about it."

Ace didn't fully understand what that ant, but he nodded weakly, still trembling from exhaustion.

rging seed to be different in many ways from evolving.

Michael observed the boy in silence for a few seconds more.

"Your body will need a few days to adjust," Michael said at last, his tone even. "Spend the next few days training to adapt."

Ace straightened his posture, though his legs were still unsteady beneath him. Despite the exhaustion etched across his face, his expression was filled with sothing else-determination and awe. He bowed deeply, both hands clenched tightly. "Yes, my lord. I understand." His voice trembled slightly. "I... I won't disappoint you. I'll train until I can fully control this power. And I'll keep everything that happened here a secret. Not a word will leave my mouth." Michael regarded him quietly, his expression unreadable. He didn't need the boy's verbal reassurance-the bond between them already made deceit impossible. But still, hearing those words had its own satisfaction.

A faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips. "Good."

Michael didn't exchange much words with Ace before bringing him out of the coffin space.

After Ace was gone, Michael returned.

The current situation brought a new idea to him he couldn't wait to

try.

Without hesitating much, Michael summoned Spartan.

It had been a long ti since he'd called for Spartan. The undead warrior had served him loyally since the early days but as his power grew, the frequency of their interactions diminished.

It wasn't that Spartan had beco irrelevant-far from it. The issue was simple: Michael's strength had long surpassed what the undead could offer. Strengthening Spartan demanded vast amounts of experience points and unlike other undead, evolving didn't improve its level.

Now, however... things were different.

With the second mutation of his [Infinite Evolution] talent, Michael had discovered an entirely new dinsion to control. Michael reached out into his storage space and brought out a law

seed.

This law seed belonged to the Lion who had attacked Michael alongside the Serpent and the Crystal Monster. All three are part of

his legion no.

Michael handed the law seed to Spartan.

Without another word, he pricked his thumb, letting a single droplet

of his blood essence fall onto Spartan's head.

Then Michael activated his talent.

[Due to wish to rge "Undead Human" with "Pseudo Divine Blood"

and "****Law seed"]

"Yes!"
