Now reading: Chapter 893 A Perfect Class? from Evolving My Undead Legion In A Game-Like World, a Action novel by Drakon.

Michael's gaze shifted again. This ti he turned to the class with the most interesting na on the list.

• Death's Heir

The panel unfolded.

[Class: Death's Heir]

[Description]: A successor of death itself. One who engraves the

authority of death into their very existence. Death is no longer rely commanded. It is embraced, refined, and made one's own.

[Compatibility]: Perfect

Michael's eyes narrowed. "...Heir."

The word alone carried weight, and so unfamiliar feeling welled up in him as he read it.

Then the next lines appeared.

[Effect 1]: Gains 7 attribute points per level.

Michael's pupils contracted slightly. "...Seven?"

That was the highest so far. Higher than Death Knight. Higher than everything he had seen.

"What is this?"

[Effect 2]: Attribute Distribution per level:

• 0.5 Strength

• 0.5 Constitution

• 1 Agility

• 5 Intelligence

Michael stared. "...Heavily biased."

There was no balance here. This class did not care about physical strength. It barely acknowledged it. Everything was poured into intelligence, with agility treated like a distant second. Michael continued reading.

[Effect 3]: Enhances all death and dark-related abilities by 50%.

[Effect 4]: Can embrace the essence of the dead as engraving.

[Effect 5]: Does not conflict with Necromancer class. Existing abilities, contract slots, and undead remain intact and can continue to grow.

[Effect 6]: Affinity Limitation - All elental affinities aside from darkness will be severely suppressed unless linked through primary affinity pathways.

[Effect 7]: Near absolute dominance of undead creatures plus suppression of opposing dark-related abilities.

"...It doesn't conflict with anything?"

He repeated it slowly, as if making sure he had not read it wrong.

This changed everything.

For the first ti since going through the list, sothing inside him stirred. Real excitent. Unlike the other classes, this was not trying to replace his foundation. It was not asking him to abandon his path or forcing a trade. It was building on top of what he already had.

Michael's grip tightened slightly. "...So I keep everything."

His undead. His contract slots. His entire foundation. All of it remained largely untouched, and on top of that he gained more. Stronger amplification. Better scaling. And this so-called Engraving. Michael's eyes flickered. "...Engraving"

He didn't know what it ant yet, but he doubted it was anything weak.

Michael exhaled slowly, his heartbeat picking up just slightly. "...This is..."

Even the limitations he did not mind. Severely restricted elental affinity?

Michael's lips curved faintly. "...When have I ever relied on multiple elents?"

To be honest, even when he fought as a mage he had used different elents out of convenience rather than preference, never once truly relying on any single one.

If he took this class it would essentially force him to narrow his focus, which ironically, given that it fell under the dark elent, would make him look like a proper Necromancer. And what was stated was a restriction, not a complete inability to use other elents.

Darkness and death had always been his path. Nothing was changing.

If anything, it was becoming purer.

As for the stats, Michael glanced at the distribution again. "...

Intelligence."

He let out a quiet breath. He had never relied heavily on the stat gains from levelling up. His current strength had not co from those numbers. His growth had always co from his talent.

"...I can manage it."

Even if the distribution was unbalanced, he could compensate with the feedback from his undead advancing in rank. That was what he

had always done.

Michael leaned back slowly. "...This might be it."

This was the first class that felt right. His gaze lingered on the panel a mont longer, but the excitent did not cloud him.

"...I still need to see the rest."

No matter how well it fit, he would not decide blindly. Not when

sothing like his foundation was on the line.

Michael straightened slightly and moved back to the list.

• Soul Binder

The panel unfolded without delay.

[Class: Soul Binder]

[Description]: A class that binds, refines, and governs souls. Unlike

those who rely command external entities, a Soul Binder establishes deeper connections, strengthening both the self and the bound through resonance and shared growth.

[Compatibility]: Very High

Michael's eyes narrowed slightly. "...Soul"

A familiar concept to him. Then the effects appeared.

[Effect 1]: Gains 6 attribute points per level.

Michael's gaze flickered. "...Six."

Lower than Death's Heir, but still high. Then the next line appeared.

[Effect 2]: Attribute Distribution per level:

• 1 Strength

1 Constitution

1 Agility

⚫ 3 Intelligence

Michael was quite pleased. Lower than Death's Heir but considerably

more balanced. He continued reading.

[Effect 3]: Increases control of all bound entities even it said entity is

more powerful.

[Effect 4]: Allows formation of Soul Links, enabling shared growth and feedback between user and bound entities.

[Effect 5]: Does not conflict with existing contract systems. Current contract slots, undead, and bindings remain intact.

[Effect 5]: Advantage in soul related contact (contracts, battles, e.t.c.).

"...It also doesn't conflict.""

Michael noted it quietly. Just like Death's Heir. That alone placed it far above most of the other options. His undead untouched. His contract slots preserved. Everything he had built still standing.

His eyes flickered faintly. "...Shared growth."

That part caught his attention. If the link worked both ways, then his

undead growing stronger would feed back into him, and his own

growth would feed into them. A cycle. A continuous loop of improvent.

Michael's fingers tapped lightly against his knee. Unlike Blood

Warlock, this class was not reckless. Unlike Shadow Slave, it was not

dependent on sothing above him.

"...It's quite fitting"

It truly was. A class that preserved his greatest advantage and then enhanced it. No losses, only gain. Even the stat distribution gave him no complaints. Not as explosive as Death's Heir, but safer. More.

rounded.

Michael's gaze lingered on the panel. If Death's Heir didn't exist, this would have been his choice without hesitation.

His eyes dimd slightly as he compared the two.

Soul Binder and Death's Heir. One focused on connection, the other on dominance. One offered stability, the other authority. Michael inhaled slowly. "...Both are good."

Very good. But even as he admitted that, he could already feel it. That

slight difference. That small gap. Soul Binder was powerful, safe, and perfectly suited for him. But Death's Heir was sothing else entirely. Still, he did not rush. There were two classes left on the list. No point deciding before seeing everything.
