Kaiser opened his eyes, but the clarity that welcod him had nothing reassuring about it. A fulminating headache was once again pounding his temples.
He was still in shock from the scene he had just lived with his mother, but the tallic sll of blood brutally brought him back to a much more nightmarish present.
"Fuck !" he exclaid while sweeping his environnt with his gaze, his throat dry and irritated by acrid smoke. "Where am I again ?"
In front of him, piles of corpses stretched as far as the eye could see on a ruined field, a sea of inert flesh.
The corpses were diverse with humans, elves of all kinds, demi-beast monsters and even demons.
"What happened ?" stamred Kaiser, trying to understand the cause of such carnage and why the hell he had gotten involved in it.
But unfortunately, he did not have the luxury of thinking any longer when a guttural cry, followed by a terrible killing intent, resonated across the desolate plain.
Kaiser abruptly turned toward the source of the noise to realize that a silhouette had just made its appearance. It was two ters tall, with skin of a cadaverous pallor. An ugly gaping wound crossed its torso, from which oozed a viscous and black liquid that burned the ground with each drop. Its hands ended in long sharp claws while its blackened eye sockets, devoid of pupils, seed to fix Kaiser with an insatiable hunger.
"What is this again ? Am I having a fucking nightmare !?" He said to himself as a glacial shiver ran down his spine.
The aura emanating from this thing was sinister. Despite all the power he had, he had not had a second to imagine being able to beat this thing.
"And besides what race is this ?" Said Kaiser while analyzing the silhouette. At first, he thought of one of the dark elves’ experints, but sothing did not fit. But suddenly the truth seed revealed to him.
"Demon..."
He imdiately thought of retreating, knowing he was no match for such a calamity, but to his great astonishnt, his body did not respond to him. Contrary to his will, he realized that he was rushing toward the monster, his two swords already firmly gripped.
"What is this ?" he said while looking at his own legs activating with superhuman speed. "Why am I not controlling my body damn it ? Is fear making lose my mind or what !?"
But the next instant, he rembered sothing. Just like during the vision with his mother, he was only in a sort of vision, perhaps this ti too it was the case. The very fact that he could not direct his body was proof of it.
With this realization, his mind cald down, observing with a certain fascination what was going to happen. It was as if it was not him who was fighting and he really wanted to see how far this dream would go this ti.
The demon let out a roar and charged. Kaiser felt his pupils tint with a vivid red as prominent veins appeared at the corner of his eyelids .

The world slowed down instantly. Kaiser saw the micro-movents of the demon, the flows of demonic mana circulating in its limbs and the critical weak point located just above the wound on its torso. The demon brought down its claw, but Kaiser’s body perford a minimalist side step, a perfect economy of movent.

He appeared on the creature’s flank. The white blade of Eclipse described a perfect arc.

A blade of white and pure aura burst from the edge, slicing the demon’s tanned skin.

Kaiser did not stop there. He used the force of his own movent to pivot.

An invisible shock wave exploded from his shoulder, sending the demon several ters away but the creature recovered with frightening agility and projected a wave of black demonic mana toward him. Kaiser extended his left hand toward a carcass of flesh lying on the ground.

The tallic object flew toward him, intercepting the jet of corruption that made it lt instantly. Kaiser was already attacking again, his two swords tracing spirals.
< Second Movent : Quarter Moon >
While he struck, trails of residual aura remained suspended in the air. The demon tried to parry the direct blow with its claws, but the aura residues struck it simultaneously in the back and on the flanks. Pieces of black flesh flew, and the demonic blood sprayed Kaiser’s face, who now wore a carnivorous smile.
The violence of the combat was unheard of. The demon, despite its wounds, remained a superior rank threat. It used its own strength to strike the ground, creating a shock wave of earth and stones. Kaiser jumped, using a micro-repulsion under his feet to propel himself even higher into the air.
"You are slow, trash," murmured a voice through his lips.
In the air, the black chains connected to the pomls of his swords violently wrapped around his forearms, sinking into his skin until they made him bleed. Kaiser felt a burning heat invade his muscles.
’what is this sensation ?’ he thought while looking carefully.

The art no longer applied only to the blades, but to his own body. Kaiser felt his bones strengthen, his heart beat like a war drum. He beca himself a living blade. He fell back on the demon with the force of a teorite.
The impact broke the arms of the creature that tried to protect itself. The cracking of the bones was followed by the tearing of the tissues. Kaiser plunged his white blade into the demon’s shoulder and his black blade into its abdon, rising brutally to open the body in two.
The demon’s blackened intestines spilled onto the ground in a disgusting sucking sound. The creature scread while trying to plant its teeth into Kaiser’s throat. The latter used his free arm to seize the demon’s jaw and, with brute force amplified by the aura, he tore off its head.
The decapitated body collapsed into the bloody mud. Kaiser remained standing, without the slightest trace of fatigue despite the combat he had just delivered. But what attracted his attention the most were the techniques he had just used.
"It was indeed the art I use but it is as if the power was multiplied..."
He analyzed every detail as best he could, trying to understand exactly what was going on. But barely had he eliminated this demon when several others erged, surely attracted by the outpouring of aura.
"You kill one and ten others co running," he sighed while watching them approach.
" It looks like an endless battle..." It was at this precise mont that Kaiser noticed quite different things from his original body.
"Wait... This is not my body !? "
