The cri that was currently happening in the Academy had happened before, but it was not a main event in the book since it did not involve the main protagonist then.

It was just ntioned, sothing that happened in the background of the book.

And it was definitely the handiwork of the Scar, one of their mbers.

His na is Zigi.

The na of the kidnapper and murderer.

In the book, the sa guy had terrorized a city that Scar wanted so that they would be able to blackmail the lord of the city. He was the very dirty hand that the Scar uses.

The guy was a serial killer even before he joined Scar, and his thods of killing were what made him unique.

He would drain his victims of blood and then split their chest open and spread them like a butterfly, carving a vicious smile on their face.

He also called himself a businessman because the blood he drained away was sothing he sold for the bloodsuckers.

His thod of killing and the way he liked to bring terror to a place was what set him apart. He would first start with kidnapping, and then he would begin to show the body to the next victim, or in case of blackmail, he would start ssing with them.

In the book, the author described Zigi as an ugly attention-seeking whore.

It was the truth considering his background and the way he went on to live his life.

Zigi was ugly, but that was not the reason for his problem; it was his Talent Ability that worked both in a passive and active way.

It is called See Not.

And the core of the ability was that people did not pay attention to him and forgot about him easily. His ability forced him into the world of the extra so badly he could be ranked as the number one extra because to almost everyone, he literally did not exist.

As he grew, so did his ability.

So much so that the Scar leaders had to put on an alarm to be continuously reminded of him just so they would not forget about him.

And for an attention-seeking whore like him, it was the most tragic thing that could happen to him.

So Zigi turned his anger against the world. Everyone forgot about him? Then he would make them rember. He would force his attention on them and be the only thing that filled their thoughts as they died.

That was how he began, and now he had killed so many people, both ordinary and Etherion users. All of them shouting and screaming as his blade cut into them.

He forced his attention on them, and it was hard to forget soone that cut you open and drained your blood while you were still alive.

Julius adjusted his glasses, but his hand had stopped trembling because when Ace smiled like that, it ant he had a plan. "What do you an?"

"We are going to catch the kidnapper."

All of them stiffened and turned to him, their attention zeroed on him like an eagle. They were going to catch the murderer? Is he serious? Isn’t that like them committing suicide?

Derrick, Ethan, and Serena kept quiet and let Julius ask, "What do you an we are going to catch the kidnapper? Do you have so clue?"

The reason Ace was talking so freely was because he had used his perception to check himself and the room to see if it was not tagged with listening devices.

There were none.

But that still did not an they would not have a way of listening to his conversations, but he did not really care if they did or not because at that mont he was sure that the Academy already thought of him as so kind of spy or sothing fishy.

He stood up. "I will tell you guys what you need to do. First, from now till we conclude this ss, nobody is allowed to be alone. In fact, I want you all to be together."

He did not tell them the exact situation because the more information was passed around, the more likely it was to fail.

And so they began.

What Ace wanted to do was actually simple.

With Zigi’s power, it was impossible for Ace to catch him even with all his perception.

So instead, he would make him co to him.

When he reached his dorm, which had been mostly sealed off, he entered and then found a piece of paper and wrote the na of the next victim on it.

"Zigi."

Then he put it on his windowsill.

The next plan would be for him to pick the spot that he wanted, an advantageous spot that would work in their favor. Ace picked the training center.

He rented out a whole training room for them for the next three days and then locked the door.

It was sothing called isolation training, but this ti it would be for five people. Food and drinks would be passed through the door without contact.

There was a toilet in the room, and the best thing about all of it was that there were no windows, even in the toilet.

Ace was done with his plans. It was simple, but it would work.

Zigi, in his desperation to know how Ace learned of his na, would try to gain access to the training room, and that was when he would be caught by security.

Ace did not need to do any work.

And, when Zigi learned about his na, then he would leave Celia be just so he could use her as leverage later.

And so they waited. With nothing to do, they threw themselves into training apart from Ace.

He just sat there with his legs crossed and his eyes closed.
