The duel continued as both Noah and Edward circled each other slowly, their eyes locked.
Edward exhaled, and then suddenly mana surged around his body more intensely than before. A faint aura wrapped around his arms and greatsword.
Then he changed his stance.
He pulled his greatsword slightly back, and his expression beca serious.
Then he moved. He stepped forward and swung his greatsword in a diagonal slash, but this ti it was different.
A faint arc of mana left the blade as he swung.
Slash.
Noah’s eyes widened slightly, and he quickly moved his spear to block. Mana wrapped around his own spear.
Clang!
Even though he blocked the sword, the mana slash still pushed him back a step.
Edward smirked. "This is my family swordsmanship. Let’s see how long you can last."
Edward attacked again.

Each swing of his greatsword now carried mana blades that flew a short distance from the sword. Noah was forced into defense, constantly blocking and dodging.
He only knew basic spear techniques, slightly better than complete beginners, but nowhere near Edward’s swordsmanship.
Edward didn’t just attack with those slashes.
The next mont, Edward dashed forward again, but this ti his movent was different. More controlled, more precise.
Noah blocked with his spear, but he imdiately felt the difference. The attack was not just strong. It was refined.
So Noah did the only thing he could. He defended and avoided.
He stepped back, deflected a vertical slash, twisted his body to avoid a horizontal swing, then blocked another mana slash with the shaft of his spear.

Edward’s attacks beca faster and more aggressive.
Noah’s arms were starting to hurt from blocking the heavy greatsword again and again.
’I can’t win in close combat like this...’
Noah suddenly jumped back, creating distance between them.
Edward smirked. "Running away now?"
He held the spear in his right hand and lifted it above his shoulder. His left leg moved forward and bent at the knee, his body leaning slightly back.
Mana started gathering around the spear. More and more mana wrapped around the spear shaft and blade.
The spear began to glow blue because of mana.
Edward noticed this and narrowed his eyes.
"What are you—"
But before he could finish, Noah threw the spear with all his strength.
The spear shot through the air like a bullet, glowing blue, cutting through the air with a sharp whistling sound. The spear went straight toward Edward.
But Noah didn’t stop there.
’Okay... let’s do it.’
The mont he threw the spear, he kicked off the ground and dashed forward, following right behind the spear.
Edward looked at that with a smirk. He raised his greatsword and swung it with full force.
Clang!!!
The greatsword struck the spear and knocked it away, sending it spinning across the platform.
But just behind the spear, Noah appeared, since he was running behind the spear.
Edward imdiately tried to swing his sword at him. But at that exact mont, sothing was forming in Noah’s hand.
Edward didn’t notice at first. There was sothing going on in Noah’s hand. Mana gathered rapidly in Noah’s right hand.
Then, an ice sword ford in his hand instantly. A blade made entirely of ice. It was ice-blue in color. Clean and crystal clear.
Noah swung it imdiately.

Edward’s greatsword collided with Noah’s ice sword. Edward’s eyes widened in shock.
"A sword?!" He was confused as to where it ca from. Did he pull it from a storage ring?
He tried to step back. But he couldn’t move. His foot was stuck. He looked down for a split second.
Ice had ford around his foot, freezing it to the ground.
Noah’s eyes filled with excitent. "Got you!"
Edward tried to curse, but before he could react—
Noah’s left fist moved. He had already ford an ice gauntlet around his fist.
The fist, covered with an ice gauntlet, slamd into his right cheek.
Boom!
Noah, with a wide smile, had put all his strength into that punch.
’That felt nice..’, he thought.
The impact was so strong that Edward’s head snapped to the side and his grip loosened on the greatsword.
Crack!
The ice sword in Noah’s hand suddenly shattered into pieces. It was Noah who dismissed it, not because of the impact with the greatsword.
Noah didn’t stop. He sidestepped quickly and moved his right hand fast toward Edward.
Edward tried to move, tried to defend. But he was too late.
A partially ford ice gauntlet appeared on Noah’s right fist. He was not able to fully form it, but it was still enough.
Boom!
Noah punched Edward directly on the chin.
Edward groaned in pain, his head snapping back.
Noah then completely lost control and started beating him without giving him any chance to recover.
His right fist was now fully covered with ice, forming a gauntlet.
He was laughing loudly now. "Haha! Where did your arrogance go now?!"
"Man! This is more fun than I had thought!" Noah excitedly said those words while punching Edward.
Punch!
He punched Edward’s face. He punched his cheek.
Punch!
His stomach.
Punch!
His ribs.
Edward couldn’t defend properly. His greatsword slipped from his hand and fell to the floor with a loud tallic sound.
Noah kept punching him again and again, his ice-covered fists slamming into Edward’s body.
Students watching from outside were completely shocked.
Especially Testu and Richard. They had horrified expressions on their faces. They didn’t expect the fight to turn like this.
Just then, the staff mber acting as referee shouted loudly,
"Stop! Match over! Winner is Noah Eldritch!"
Noah stopped mid-punch.
"Tch!"
Though Noah was enjoying it, and even laughing like crazy, that didn’t an he had gone crazy. He was still in his right mind.
Edward’s body fell to the ground, groaning in pain. The ice that was freezing his foot also shattered into small pieces.
Noah stood there, breathing heavily, looking down at Edward, who was lying on the floor defeated.
"Well... that was a fun fight," he said with a satisfied smile.
He walked toward the fallen spear and picked it up. Then he put it inside the storage ring.
