CLANG!
Sparks flew as their weapons t.
Petrick moved even faster now.
Slash
Slash

Noah tried to avoid his attacks, he avoided few of them but not all.
Cuts appeared on his forearms, his shoulder, and his cheeks. Fresh blood flew into the surrounding. That belonged to Noah.
Not even minutes had passed since they started clashing, yet Petrick had already given Noah so many wounds.
But Noah never stopped smiling. Their weapons collided against each other once more. They pushed each other. As a distance ford between them.
Noah used that mont and started to use his ability.
Just then, Petrick raised his hand. A huge magic circle made of dark lines started to form in front of him.
Noah didn’t give him the chance. He focused and forced himself to create two ice swords as fast as possible.
"Arrrghhh!" he suddenly yelled with force.
Petrick narrowed his eyes.
On both sides of Petrick, two ice swords ford within seconds.
Noah’s brain throbbed while creating them. Those swords, they floated on Petrick’s right and left sides.
The tips of the blades pointed at him. They shot toward Petrick at the sa ti.
"Ohh?" Petrick showed surprise. But it was not enough to defeat him. He bent his knees and jumped high into the air, trying to move backward.
The spell he was attempting to conjure shattered into nothingness as he jumped back.
While the swords struck empty space. But Noah didn’t let them collide against each other.
His spear fell from his grip as he grabbed both cold hilt of those swords in his hands. Then, with a sharp gaze, he dashed forward.
Noah’s left hand moved up to his right shoulder, then ca down in a diagonal slash. He aid at Petrick’s neck, who had just landed on the street.
Clang!
The ice sword t a dagger as Petrick blocked the attack.
In that instant, Noah raised his right sword and slashed against the blade of the sword in left hand, giving it more force to push forward.
"Arrghhh!" he scread in rage.
Petrick’s knees bent for the first ti. His dagger was pushed down slightly as the blade of the ice sword ca very close to his neck.
Very close. But just then, Petrick kicked Noah on the knee very hard.
"Gahh!"
Noah nearly lost his balance.
Petrick took that chance to slide away from Noah’s sword. He moved back as the ice sword ca down.
Petrick instantly slashed at Noah’s chest. A dark arc of darkness shot toward Noah.
Noah tried to block it by raising his sword, but he was slightly late, and a slash ford across his chest.
Blood gushed out from it.
"Garrhhh!"
Petrick ca in front of him.
This ti his dagger, which was covered with darkness, ca to cut his neck.
Noah’s vision nearly blurred. Sohow, he forced his body to move. He ducked down in ti.
But what ca toward him was Petrick’s knee. It hit against his jaw intensely.
"Arrgghhh!!"
Pain shot through his mouth. His head snapped back because of it. Blood flew from his open mouth. His lips were also tore by the strike.
’Not... yet... I cannot...’ He encouraged himself.
Petrick smirked and this ti thrust his dagger at Noah’s heart.
’I won’t.’ Noah’s blue eyes filled with resolved.
Despite the pain, Noah moved his body. He bent on his right knee. He got down as the dagger tore into his shoulder rather than his chest.
Blood gushed out from it.
"AAGGHHH!!" He scread out of his lungs. The pain was impossible to bear. The sharp blade of the dagger dug inside his flesh.
Near the shoulder area, just below beside the collarbone. Noah’s right knee touched the ground.
This ti Petrick didn’t attack. Rather, he looked at Noah with curiosity and interest.
Noah gazed up at him, eting his green eyes.
He gulped down his saliva.
"You... you really are good at avoiding... to be able to survive this far... not bad, boy... you got talent... but too bad. Today you will die. What did you say before? Kill if you can? Here... I am so close to killing you..." Petrick said with a smirk.
The dagger in his right hand was still inside Noah.
His words didn’t make Noah flinch or fear.
Rather, a smile blood on his face. It was a charming one since he was too handso.
Petrick frowned at why this boy was still smiling.
"Well... you still haven’t killed ... nor you can ever kill ..."
"And why is that?"
Noah kept smiling. He wanted to say that he was a transmigrator. No way he would die so early.
But he didn’t.
"Why?... you will get to know that soon... thanks for being a talkative villain."
Petrick’s frown deepened. Then his instincts scread. Soone was coming from behind him.
He tried to pull out the dagger that was dug inside Noah’s shoulder.
But to his surprise. Noah grabbed his wrist tightly with both hands. While his dagger and his hand were being covered with ice at high speed.
He tried to pull out, but Noah had grabbed him tightly. His hand froze in ice.
"Tch!" Petrick clicked his tongue and swung his left arm, trying to use his left-hand dagger to kill Noah.
But he was late. Soone was already upon him.
A huge figure lood over him from behind. He swung his weapon at him. Petrick gave up on killing Noah. He ducked down.
The huge battle axe blade slashed above the empty space.
Petrick’s eyes t Noah’s. Since he was kneeling and now Petrick was also ducked. Noah’s right hand left Petrick’s wrist.
His hand clenched into a fist. The be punched Petrick across his left cheek.
"Garrh!" Petrick’s face turned to the right side. As a groan left his mouth.
"You—!" He turned to look at Noah with anger. But he couldn’t waste his ti.
The mont Noah had punched him, Petrick also struck his left-hand dagger at the frozen right hand.
Crack.
Crush.
With a crackling sound, the frozen ice broke from his hand. He pulled out the dagger from Noah’s shoulder. Blood flew with it.
Noah closed his eyes in pain. The pain of dagger taken out from his flesh was more strong.
"Not so fast." A heavy voice ca.
Behind him, Draven was ready to strike Petrick with a heavy blow. His battle axe was raised above him. Mana covered the heavy blade of his weapon.
As he brought it down in a clean, heavy vertical slash over Petrick.
Noah used his feet to push himself a few steps back.
