The snow-blue circle brightened violently as more mana was pushed into it. The unstable pathways began to crack, glowing brighter and brighter as the structure failed to handle the pressure. It shook uncontrollably.

"Form... already!" he shouted.

His brain throbbed painfully. Despite that, he didn’t stop there.

At the sa ti, he focused on Petrick, mostly on the road beneath him.

So mana traveled through his legs towards Petrick, then ford a small patch of ice beneath him. This was much easier for him compared to conjuring a new spell. It was done faster.

While the structure was still hard to maintain, it was wrong from the beginning.

The magic circle was ford, but it was wrong.

So, the mana flow collided inside the circle. The patterns broke. The pathways shattered. And the magic circle collapsed.

But Noah didn’t stop providing his mana.

CRACK!

The circle exploded in a burst of mana.

The backlash traveled directly into Noah’s hand. The mana veins in his left arm twisted violently, and a sharp cracking sound echoed as tiny fractures ford in his bones and veins.

Blood burst out from his palm and fingers, streaming down his arm.

Usually, soone would not take this much damage. But because Noah had provided excessive mana to it, he received a strong backlash.

But despite the explosion...

The spell still partially activated.

From the shattered magic circle, a massive amount of snow mist burst out like a broken dam releasing water.

Cold air spread rapidly.

White mist flooded the battlefield.

Within seconds, the snow mist beca so dense that it covered several ters in every direction, turning the entire area into a white fog where nothing could be seen.

No one knew what was inside the mist.

Only the cold, silent snow mist filled the battlefield.

But Noah... he could sense sothing inside the snow mist much better. Was it because he was the one who made the snow mist?

Or maybe because of his affinity towards ice.

Noah’s left hand was injured, yet he moved inside the fog with the spear held tightly in his right hand.

He moved in the sa direction where Petrick was standing.

Inside the mist,

Petrick remained standing where he was, covering his ears, trying to get back to his senses.

He couldn’t understand what was going on. The mist spread everywhere, making his vision useless. The sound attack was still ringing in his ears. His brain throbbed painfully. Just then sothing moved beneath his feet.

The small ice that had ford beneath him started to increase out of nowhere, freezing his legs and locking them in place.

"What the?" Petrick was confused, trying to break free from them.

At the sa ti, a sword shot at him from the left side.

Petrick couldn’t sense it at all. Where did it co from?

The sword struck his upper arm.

Crushed.

Splashed.

Blood splattered on the ground from the sword strike.

"ARGGHHH!!!"

Just then soone moved behind him.

He was slightly better in his senses now.

But too late to react. Not forgetting his legs being frozen, which already had a few cracks, but an attack ca to him faster than anything.

Behind him, Noah ca with his spear, his eyes filled with determination and resolve to kill his enemy.

His one hand was injured, blood dripping from it.

His body had injuries and wounds all over.

The spear he held in his right hand moved with intense speed and strength.

Schlick

The tip of the spear blade tore through the nape of Petrick’s neck as it ca out from the front side of his throat.

Splattered.

Blood gushed out like a fountain.

"Gah‐!" Petrick groaned. He wanted to scream loudly in pain, yet he couldn’t since his throat was destroyed.

They remained in the sa position for a while.

"Hah.... haf... hah.." Noah breathed raggedly.

Petrick was nearly dead.

But suddenly he turned his head 180 degrees.

Facing Noah’s face.

Noah’s eyes went wide in horror.

His black void like eyes started at Noah’s blue eyes. There was a wide smile on Petrick’s face. Despite the torn throat, he sohow muttered, "I-I-I w-will kill you nex-"

But Noah didn’t let him finish.

He spun the spear in his hand and swung his spear to the other side violently.

More than half of his head was cut from the neck. But it couldn’t take the weight of the whole head, so it finally fell on the ground.

Thud.

The blood ca out from the neck like a fountain, falling over Noah, which drenched his face with blood.

Then Petrick’s body fell on the ground with a loud thud.

Noah gazed at the dead face of Petrick. The creepy smile on his face didn’t go away.

Finally, the battle was over. Killing him felt easier this way.

The mist slowly started to subside in the air.

---

So distance away from where Noah and the others were fighting Petrick,

Monsters were still destroying things.

Lyria and Leonard, who were fighting those monsters, were trying to stop them from going in the direction where the others were.

They were also tired.

But just then a cracking sound ca from above the sky.

Both looked up at the sky, only to see sothing breaking apart. It was like transparent glass in the sky above them was breaking.

Shattered.

Soon it shattered into thin particles, vanishing into nothingness.

Just then the monsters who were rampaging suddenly stopped.

Lyria and Leonard now observed those monsters.

Their bodies went rigid, not moving even an inch.

And the next mont, all of their bodies burst into blood by an unknown force.

"What’s happening?" Leonard wondered.

"How are they dead?!" While Lyria Said with shocked expression.

Then they felt as if soone was watching them from above.

They raised their heads to look at who it was.

There in the sky was the floating form of an old man with white hair and black eyes. He wore a black suit.

"P-Principal."

He was Adrian Aegeus.

His black eyes road over the whole area.

He killed all the monsters in that place without even touching them. That was the strength of a person who was at the peak level of human ranks.
