14: THE PROMISE…
[Warning, there is 18 content in this chapter.] The figure spoke in a cold tone, “Co out, won, if you don’t want to see your child get hurt.” But she did not move, she was extrely tense.
She could feel three 2nd phase beings among the attackers.
They could have killed both of them in an instant if they wanted.
So, this was most likely a hostage situation.
But there was another problem.
The power of the attackers was too strong; no random or no-na force could bring out such power in the Suncrest kingdom, where every power is highly controlled and countered.
The Royal family always makes sure that no hidden force can amass too much power, nor do they ever let a secret organization grow without supervision.
The only thing she could think is that soone wanted to destroy or target the Obsidian Trade.
She asked in a panicked voice, “Who are you people?
What do you want?” The figure spoke again, “I will say for the first and last ti, won, we are only after you; we are not interested in the child.” Axel couldn’t keep quiet hearing those words, “No, no, no….mother is not going anywhere.” A boundless killing intent pressed on both mother and son as they found it hard to breathe.
Axel started to suffocate in the pressure generated by the 2nd phase Seeker.
Eventually, Mira shouted, “STOP!
I will co; just stop.” The figure retracted the pressure and nodded, Mira added, in turn, “But I will need an agreent with the Pri Nexus that you or the forces behind you will not harm my son.” Axel began to shout, “No, absolutely not.
What are you talking about, mother?
No, nothing will happen to you.
Nothing can…..” The figure cut him off, “Be quiet, I know you’re buying ti but that’s fine.
Let’s agree.” Both parties made an extensive agreent through Pri Nexus, ensuring the safety of Axel.
He wanted to stop his mother but was unable to.
His mother had a stern gaze and was serious.
Axel was unable to do anything.
He felt helpless, absolutely helpless.
After that, they both went outside the carriage.
Axel kept crying, not wanting to be separated from his mother; he did not know what would happen to her.
But they were forcefully separated.
Yet, what happened next shattered Axel in every possible way.
A beautiful woman with gorgeous features walked out from a tree, and Mira’s eyes widened.
She said through gritted teeth, “Uh, DUCHESS DUSKER, WHY AM I NOT SURPRISED?” She wore a seductive smile as she said, “Oh, my dear Mira, you have no idea how long I have waited for this.” “So, it has finally co to this?
Just because of your petty jealousy?” stated Mira in a helpless tone.
But Duchess’s expression beca incomparably cold as she signaled to one of the hooded figures.
That figure reached in front of Mira in an instant and tore apart all of her clothes.
The Duchess whispered into her ear, “Now I wonder how would you feel being raped right in front of your very son?” Her eyes widened in sheer disbelief and terror as she understood that they wanted to break her son ntally.
She shouted with all her might and tried to escape, but two figures firmly held onto her while she was naked, while another groped her breasts with a lecherous expression.
Axel, seeing that, lost his mind as he rushed forward and tried to attack the hooded figures holding his mother, but another one of the attackers ca and stopped him.
He kept shouting and struggling with all of his might.
He had lost all sanity, and boundless rage filled every fiber of his small body.
Tears also kept falling from Mira’s eyes; she struggled but was unable to escape.
She had an extrely ugly expression on her face as the bastard was groping her breasts.
She couldn’t let that happen.
She absolutely could not let that happen in front of her son.
Mira looked at Axel for a mont as she whispered to him, “RUN….” She said in an extrely low voice, but Axel heard it loud and clear.
Axel opened his eyes wide as he saw his mother’s body had started to glow and radiate an imnse heat.
The hooded figures holding her were unable to keep their hands on her as they took multiple steps back.
The Duchess, on the other hand, had a sour expression on her face.
As she said, “So, you have decided to kill yourself?
huh, bitch!!!!” But the Duchess said her next words in a mocking tone, “You can try and harm , but that will only give excuse to kill your son.” Mira looked at her with profound hatred that sent chills down the spine of the Duchess, but she was unafraid.
Mira’s body was glowing in a fiery red color, and the heat she radiated almost started to lt the surroundings; it almost looked like she had beco lava herself.
She turned her gaze towards Axel one last ti and said, “Sorry…my son.” But at the next mont, seeing the imnse power radiating from her, the hooded figures grabbed the duchess and started to run from that location.
But in the next mont, Mira’s entire body exploded as if a chunk of lava had exploded from a volcano, and a large amount of red blood splattered everywhere around the area of the explosion.
Everything around it was destroyed; the assailants had already reached a distance that the explosion did not affect them.
Only Axel was in the area of the explosion.
Yet, he was mostly unhard, as if the power of the explosion avoided the boy intentionally.
Axel had his eyes wide open.
In less than an hour, his life had been turned upside down.
He went from being separated from his mother, then seeing his mother almost raped right in front of his eyes, then her exploding into a bloody pulp.
So blood got splashed on his face, and a few drops also reached his tongue.
His mind was unable to bear the shock of everything, he couldn’t accept it.
He didn’t want to accept it.
Tears, blood, and snot were mixed on his face.
His mind eventually did the only thing it could to ensure the slim chance of his survival.
Axel lost consciousness and went into a coma.
The Duchess of Dusker, on the other hand, had a grim expression on her face.
She was unhard, but she wasn’t totally satisfied with the outco.
She did kill the bitch that her husband had loved his entire life, but was unable to get her since Mira had loved Daniel Nomrad and eventually married him.
For that reason, she was never able to earn any affection from the duke, even though she had loved him her entire life.
Her eyes went towards Axel, who was the spitting image of his mother.
Seeing him beco unconscious, a sense of satisfaction rose in her.
She couldn’t kill the boy now because of the agreent.
She smirked; actually, it was better this way, she thought.
Sotis, living is worse than dying, she was sure that the boy would never be able to recover from what he saw today.
Even if the boy did recover, she would make sure to break him and take satisfaction from that.
Since the bitch was dead, her son would have to be the one to appease her anger.
She would also make sure to slowly destroy the Obsidian Trade.
After that, she left that place alongside her hired assassins.
Axel was lying on the ground on the other side of a certain mountain in Santak village right after he had eaten the heart of Ivor.
Whom he barely managed to kill.
He beca unconscious after rampaging on that part of the mountain mindlessly.
He had a hideous grimace on his face as if witnessing the worst thing one could witness; he was witnessing the worst nightmare of the original Axel of this body.
He abruptly opened his eyes, and they were bloodshot.
He sat up straight.
His expression remained the sa hideous grimace.
But it turned into sothing else.
A mad laugh escaped his lips, “HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
HUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” The sinister laughter echoed hauntingly in the stunning light of the moon that illuminated the darkness of the night.
His anger was so profound that he almost transford back into a demon.
Blood-red tears started falling from his eyes, and they painted two thin lines of red marks on both of his cheeks.
His mind was a ss, his fury was so great that a part of him wanted to destroy everything.
He even felt a strange desire to lose himself in that fury.
He spread his arms wide like a mad man and kept laughing non-stop.
It was a laugh, so sinister that every small or big animal that accommodated themselves on the mountain decided to run away from there.
After an unknown amount of ti, his laughter stopped, his tears stopped flowing.
He spat with chilling hatred, “DUSKERS???????” I promise…..
I promise to these beautiful moons that hang in the sky that I ‘AXEL NOMRAD’ will slaughter every last one of you.
I will kill every last trace of your bloodline so that not a single trace of your wretches shall remain in this world.” He roared to the heavens in defiance.
