Chapter 173: What the hell are you planning?

“Sigh, you won’t understand, let’s first talk about what you were supposed to do? The potions and pills?” he asked Vyra

Heinz, anwhile, remained silent, as if thinking about sothing, lost in his own deep thoughts. Axel ignored him; he would talk about it with Heinz later on. For now, he needed to know how the results of the few new potion recipes were coming along. This would be another source of profit for him.

Vyra nodded as she explained, “I still haven’t been successful in completing those three recipes, but they are ingenious. Who would have thought that sothing like this was possible with those kinds of ingredients, though a few of the materials for the dicines aren’t easy to get, but it’s doable. For now, it’s only producing 40-30% effectiveness after concoction, and so unnatural side effects remain when I test it with so beasts.”

“So, I still need so ti, until it’s completed, lots of trials and tests will need to be conducted, but I do know that it will work, once it does, these three can practically revolutionize the way of fighting for Human Seekers.”

Axel nodded at that. What he did was basically share three key formulas with her. Well, those formulas would be far later on created by her in the original story, but who cared about that? So, he shared the idea of it, he didn’t reveal how he had gotten his hands on it, and the truth is that he didn’t rember all the details of it either; as such, her help was needed.

So, he had made a contract with her that she would own 30% of the right to the recipe, and that after perfection, her Vanelis family would sell those potions exclusively, and then, discussing the profits and costs, Axel would receive a big chunk of profit.

But his father was also an alchemist, so wouldn’t it be better to share these with his father? While he could indeed do that, for now, he didn’t feel comfortable sharing such high-level information through the Arclight organization to his father; he also doubted if his father was as talented an alchemist as Vyra here, so he might not be able to complete it.

Not to ntion, he had other types of recipes in mind that he could share with his father later on. Besides, through this particular deal, he was ensuring the support of the Vanelis family. It’s sothing he would need later on.

He and Vyra discussed a bit more on that topic, and she finally said, “Thank you, I don’t know how to repay you for this?”

Axel chuckled and said, “It’s fine, just think of it as sothing I did for a friend.”

She could only smile helplessly as she left. Axel closed the door and turned towards his friend, who had been uncharacteristically quiet all this ti. Heinz also looked at him intently, then he finally spoke, “You do know that you feel really, really suspicious sotis?”

Axel raised an eyebrow as he chuckled at his friend,

“Oh, and what might that be? Please do enlighten , mighty Sage warlord?”

“You made these tools and gave them to us, right before the very first sectional evaluation, as if you were waiting for this in the first place, but that would an you knew when this was going to happen?” he revealed his suspicions to Axel.

Heinz continued, “Vyra and Lumina wouldn’t figure this out, but Lucien definitely will. Not only that, but such powerful weapons? How can you even create sothing like this? Was giving Lucien one of such powerful weapons a good idea?”

He paused for a mont, thinking sothing else again, and added in surprise, ” No, no, no, you won’t give him the weapon without having sothing in mind, so kind of contingency.”

He looked back at Axel in apprehension and said, “You bastard, just what the fuck are you even planning?”

Axel, who had a neutral look on his face as Heinz revealed his suspicions,

Later in the day, Axel was on his apartnt, holding an envelope in his hand, it was delivered to him by soone of the Arclight organization, well they simply sent him a ssage saying that his desired information is left on that very narrow alleyway on which he conversed with the envoy of the organization.

It seems they are likely facing many troubles with the security of the academy, so even a face-to-face conversation with one of the envoys could beco troubleso. He opened the envelope, unfolded the piece of paper on which the information was written in a coded format, and, sitting at the table, he started decoding the ssage.

He read the information thoroughly after decoding. Humming thoughtfully, he surmised the details of it,

The last ti he had asked the envoy to get information on Duskers and his family’s state, as usual, if sothing was out of order or not. Apart from that, the requested information on the Vex and Vanelis families in general, as well as information specifically on Taser Vex, Vyra, and the third princess.

First, about Taser Vex and his family, and just as the principal said, the Vex family was indeed involved in the incident of that day, so the black attired Seeker with the Dusker duchess that day was indeed from the Vex family, most likely. Not only that, but the information about the downfall of Vex was indeed the side effect of his grandfather’s rise.

As for the description of Vex, he was pretty much the typical noble, arrogant, haughty, jealous, and ambitious. While overflowing with insecurity, he also seems to have hated the Nomrad family ever since he was young, and his entire family shares that sa hate, it seems. Axel’s eyes glead dangerously. This is sothing he would rember; the ti for payback will co.

Then he moved on to read the information about the Vanelis family and Vyra, who are the top family of the Suncrest great kingdom, specializing in Alchemy and dicine. In the dical sector of the kingdom, they are basically undisputed.

So, their status is extrely high, and they are generally politically neutral. As for Vyra, she is a very skilled archer, as well as an alchemy enthusiast, and was considered a genius in both fields. aning the Vanelis family is basically in the clear.

As for the third princess, she seems to be totally mysterious; in fact, there was barely any information about her, and even in the academy, she barely mixed with people. But considering what she was, it kind of made sense.
