Chapter 216: GOOD BOY

The Gold Section and Section C were positioned on two separate flying platforms, each observing from above. On the ground was Section A, under Enrick’s command, and Section B, under Conner Ravenspire’s command.

Section A would be attacking in the first round, and Section B would be defending. Axel and Heinz were sitting together, chatting. At the sa ti, Lumina was seated in another corner with Sophia and her brother.

Axel and Heinz watched on in amusent, both of them exhausted ntally after each round of battle they fought. Two rounds that should have been easy victories turned into close calls, with the Gold Section almost getting their asses handed to them, even in the second round. It was in no way a satisfactory enough win for them.

But now that they were in the audience, most of the gold section students found themselves relaxing a bit and enjoyed this current round between the A and B sections as a show. Heinz and Axel did the sa.

Heinz asked, “So, which one are we going to face in the final?”

Axel smiled mysteriously at his friend, “Who knows?”

Heinz looked at him suspiciously, “Yup, you definitely know sothing? Sothing is going to happen in their battles?”

Axel made the gesture of putting a finger in his mouth, indicating to him to keep quiet with a smile. Heinz grew more interested, and he then asked in a lower voice,

“So? Tell what’s up?”

Axel chuckled, “What’s the point of it, if I just reveal it?”

“I don’t care, say it, you bastard,” stated Heinz with growing curiosity.

Axel shook his head in amusent, “Trust and wait, you’ll be surprised.”

Heinz’s eyes twitched in severe irritation, unable to quell his curiosity. He replied with visible annoyance, “Then why irk my curiosity in the first place, damn bastard?”

Axel sneered, “I didn’t say anything, you’re too smart for your own good.”

Heinz rubbed his eyelids in frustration and gritted his teeth in annoyance. If not for the fact that they were in a flying platform and were drawing attention from everyone for their usual bickering, he would have seriously considered beating the crap out of Axel. However, it was doubtful if he could win against the guy.

He sighed to himself and said no more. Axel watched his friend fighting an internal battle in amusent. But seeing Heinz give up on the matter, he gave an approving nod towards his friend, and he comnted with an authoritative tone,

“Good boy.”

Heinz’s breathing stopped; upon hearing this, he robotically turned his head towards him, a look of disbelief on his face. Axel took in a deep breath, barely managing to keep a neutral face, seeing his friend giving him a death glare. If looks could kill, he would have already been dead by that deathly glare.

Taking in another deep breath, he patted his friend’s shoulder, then looked towards far in the distance, gazing at absolutely nothing, he announced in a profound and sagely tone,

“I know no one complinted you for the good job you did in the last fight, even though you got your division and Thorian’s division beautifully eliminated, even so.”

“You did an excellent job, so attaboy.”

“Sorry. Cough, cough, I an GOOD BOY.”

The death glare from Heinz’s eyes intensified to a severe degree. At this point, his bloodlust was literally leaking out. The other students all around the two of them backed off imdiately, sensing danger.

One was barely containing his laughter, while the other one seed ready to commit murder. They didn’t know what to make of the situation.

A corner of Axel’s mouth twitched nonstop; it took all of his demonic willpower to hold back his laughter, biting his lips and covering his mouth, but tears gathered in his eyes as he forcefully suppressed the laughter.

Heinz said in an absolutely murderous tone, “I’ll kill you.”

“Pftttttt…..hahahahahaha…..aahahahahaha.”

***

Ken Dusker from one corner looked at this scene with unbridled disgust and malice, barely keeping his face straight, holding back all of his desire to go and slaughter those two low-life dogs. Just looking at the two of them was making his mind go mad with rage.

It’s been just like that ever since he heard those words from the damn communication band. Even though the fucking bastard acted like he didn’t know anything, it was anything but true. He didn’t even care at this point if it was Axel Nomrad who did that, or Heinz Gil, or anyone else.

The fucking mutt whose head he could squash under his foot anyti he wanted. That blue hair of Axel Nomrad constantly reminded him of his mother’s tornt, how her entire life she cursed that blue-haired bitch who stole the heart of his father. And his dog father, who constantly insulted his mother, beat her up, talked trash about how she was nothing but a jealous, ugly whore, right in front of his eyes. Ever since he was a kid. Right in front of him.

As for himself, his father, Duke Dusker, treated him like nothing, as if he didn’t even exist. The man only drowned in despair for his unrequited love.

But his mother still loved that man, no matter what happened; he always hated that about his mother. When he was a kid, he vowed in his heart that he would kill everyone from that damn Nomrad family and take revenge on his father as well.

He, of course, knew of the details on how that blue-haired bitch died, what his mother did. She revealed all that to him in such excitent, she was so happy that day, she was so convinced that the duke would now slowly love her, now that the blue-haired bitch was dead.

Ken was happy for his mother, seeing her so glad for the first ti in his life, yet he could only smile bitterly. He was pretty scared on that day, afraid of what his father might do. Considering how obsessed he was with that blue-haired woman despite her being married off and even having children.

But to his surprise, no such thing happened; on that day, his father did not shout at his mother in rage, nor did he kick her out, prepare for a divorce, or anything. He only said,

“I truly hate you, with every fiber of my being.”

It was the first ti he had seen his father speak to her like that, with no rage, no disgust, no annoyance. His voice was calm, almost like a soft whisper, yet his words were more heavy and resounding to both him and his mother than anything ever stated by the duke.

After that, his father beca utterly indifferent to her, no matter what happened, what she did, everything about her in general. Just like he ignored the existence of Ken, his mother dropped to her knee’s hearing that, fully consud in despair.

Slowly, his mother also beca less and less enthusiastic about his father. Days passed, months even years passed, but they rarely ever spoke now. But his mother had acquired another goal. To end the Nomrad family and everyone in it. She began to use everything within her power openly, all the authority as the Duchess of Dusker. She used it to slowly and surely corner the obsidian trade of the Nomrad family.

If it were before, his father would have absolutely not let her do anything like that to Nomrad’s openly, but since the blue-haired bitch was dead, his father didn’t care about it anymore. And let her do as she pleases. No, it was more like he didn’t care about anything anymore.

He gritted his teeth for the pain in his heart was so unbearable. His head was covered in a long hood, tears gathered in his eyes, and he looked towards Lumina and Lucien. They were once so close, but now his two cousins didn’t even notice or care about what was going on with him.

Lumina did once ask him if he was okay, but looking at her eyes, he could tell that she didn’t even care; she asked it as a formality of sorts. No concern could be seen in her eyes. As for Lucien, the guy didn’t even bother to do that. Busy in his own world.

At this mont, the words of Heinz reached his ears as the commoner and the blue wretch were bickering with each other.

“I’ll kill you.”

But hearing that, he chuckled darkly in his mind, and promised with the greatest conviction, ‘No, Heinz Gil, it won’t be you or anyone else, it will only be , the one to kill him, and I shall kill both of you mongrels.’
