23: High Society 23: High Society While the Examiner’s in charge of the competition was having their own discussion, in another VIP room, where so of the children of the high nobles and top rchants as well as so royal’s ca to see the competition which they did not need to participate on because of their lofty status, they were watching the spectacle with amusent.
Ken Dusker was also in there, discussing with so of his friends whose statuses were similar to him, they all were discussing how easily they would have taken care of the Orc.
If it was them because of their high class training.
Ken’s eyes went towards the front, where the royal prince and princesses were watching the battle.
There king had 5 children, most of them had a similar age with only 1 or 2 years gaps in between them.
He had 2 wives, one was the empress and his first wife, while the second was the concubine.
Yet, the king actually loved his concubine more.
Three children of the concubine were standing slightly on the left together and the last two children of the king were from his first wife, the 4th prince and the 5th princess.
These two were the cousin of Ken Dusker.
But there was also another person right beside the two of them, it was the summoned heroine of the Suncrest kingdom, The Valkyrie.
Every single noble and rchant’s descendants in the hall had their attention on her, She had a certain amount of attention from everyone.
She was incredibly beautiful to the point that it was hard for any man to keep their eyes away from her.
They could not keep looking at her without making it obvious, but all the boys in their group would glance at her from ti to ti.
Even many girls would look at her with slight envy because of her otherworldly beautiful appearance.
Her hair was as black as the night and sowhat shining.
Her eyes were red, she had pale white skin, and a curvaceous body that would evoke lustful desire in any man.
She was wearing a full black dress that highlighted her beauty even more greatly.
She had thin red lips like a cherry, which made her even more alluring.
While she was unbelievably beautiful, her expression was cold and emotionless.
Her beauty may awaken the desires of any man, but her red eyes and cold expression would generate fear in any man or woman that would force them to stay away from her.
She standing next to the 4th prince, silently discussing sothing.
There were only a very few n who were not infatuated by the beauty of the Valkyrie.
The 4th prince was one of them.
The 4th prince was also extrely handso, just like how every man in that room would glance at the Valkyrie from ti to ti, the won in the room would peek at the 4th prince.
He had shining golden hair, red ruby like eyes which were different from the Valkyrie which exuded only coldness, his red eyes would suck anyone in for their charm.
The prince had no facial hair, but he looked extrely manly because of his enviable body structure, which looked nothing less that a warrior who had fought countless battles.
He was the definition of Prince Charming in every way.
All the noble girls would peek at him and blush.
Then there was the 5th princess standing next to them; she was not as beautiful as the Valkyrie, but she radiated warmth, unlike the Valkyrie, which made her approachable by anyone.
She also had similar golden hair and red like the 4th prince, but it was a darker color.
If one doesn’t consider the Valkyrie, she could without a doubt be the 2nd most beautiful female in the room.
Ken walked closer to the 4th prince, his cousin, and heard their conversation, The 4th prince said, “That person seems quite strong physically.
But I feel like he is being a bit too careful in his approach.” The Valkyrie responded, “He’s simply using the others, while not revealing his own strength.” The 4th Prince chuckled, “Because the others are ready to steal the final kill from him?” The Valkyrie added, “Yes.
But the Orc doesn’t seem to be simple.
Its attack pattern is too monotonous.” “So, you think the Orc is purposefully acting dumb?” asked The 4th Prince.
“I’m not sure either, but it is a possibility,” stated The Valkyrie.
After a while, the Orc broke its simple attack pattern, It threw the axe at the archer, then it slowly took out everyone except for Axel.
Ken asked the 4th prince to join in the conversation, “How long do you think the guy will last?
He probably needs to keep running from now on.” The prince looked at his cousin for a mont and said, “I don’t think he will run; he might fight.
But I’m not too sure how long he might last.” Valkyrie remained quiet, seeing that Ken had a slightly disappointed expression, but hid it quickly enough.
Ken said to the prince, “I don’t think he will last more than a few minutes, though.” 4th Prince rebuked his cousin, “He will last more than that.” The Valkyrie interjected the prince, “I think there is a possibility that he might even kill the orc.” There was a silence for a mont when The Valkyrie dropped her comnt, then Ken burst out laughing as he announced loudly.
“Miss, Valkyrie, you may not know, but killing an orc for a single human is almost impossible on the sa level, even for us.
How can those from the middle or low-grade organization ever manage to accomplish such a feat?” More of the children from High nobles and rchants also started laughing hearing the comnt of Ken.
The expression of the Valkyrie did not change even though everyone was mocking her.
4th prince shot an admonishing gaze towards his cousin.
But Ken simply shrugged his shoulders.
Even the other three royal prince and princes had a mocking expression on their faces at that revelation.
Ken snickered in his mind, ‘Bitch, I’ll make you mine, no matter what.
Ken was utterly infatuated with her at first sight.
For the first ti, he had experienced what they call Love at First sight.’ So, whether by hook or crook, he was determined to get her.
On the opposite side of where Axel was fighting, many of the contestants had joined in the fight together against the Orc, but they were all defeated.
Only on this side was Axel continuously dodging the attacks of the Orc, and no one else was coming to help him.
Axel was in a pinch, unable to do anything.
Trying to fight head-on was suicide.
He could not help but curse internally, ‘Why does everything always have to get so fucked up, just when I try to do sothing for once.’ In the next mont, the orc got annoyed by the rat, which was running around constantly, as it decided to try sothing different.
It opened its mouth wide and scread with all its might.
The sound was so loud that it completely stunned Axel, he was forced to stop running and cover his mouth and ears as his eardrums were close bursting apart.
The Orc did not waste that opportunity, it slamd its fists down hard.
Which crushed multiple bones in Axel’s body.
Then another powerful kick followed which sent him flying in one corner.
Axel coughed out a mouthful of blood as he hurriedly got up and tried to defend himself, but was unable to.
Gareth wanted to bring the boy out in fear that he might die, but the head examiner stopped him, saying that he wanted to see the limits of the boy.
In the VIP chamber, on the other hand, many nobles shot mocking gazes at both the Valkyrie and the 4th prince, since Salazar was getting beaten black and blue by the Orc.
The 4th prince had a slightly annoyed expression.
He was doubting if the Valkyrie overestimated that contestant, but he could not read anything from her face, as her face remained cold, which did not convey a single emotion.
The Orc continued to punch Axel with all its might, it wanted to vent all of its anger towards the humans to this one person.
All of a sudden, its punch was stopped by the bloody hands of Axel.
His eyes were glowing blood red but it was different kind of red than that of the royal family.
It exuded a sense of chaos that only the Orc could feel at that close range.
Axel was furious; a boundless anger was coming out of him, which generated a large amount of power in his body.
His body was broken and bloody, yet he couldn’t feel any pain; he could only feel the anger in him, which provided him with more and more strength.
A strange feeling ca from his chest, he had the urge to let go, the urge to show his true color and do the demon transformation.
But he held onto his sanity.
He dodged another attack that ca at him then kicked at the leg joint of the Orc.
