Chapter 288: Damn Bastard…
Axel jolted back in shock. It was the bastard Heinz. He asked in confusion, “What, when did you get so close?”
Heinz shrugged, “I went to the academy shop to get so potions and pills, since I’ll go hunting tomorrow in the forest. Saw you on the way back, and you were smiling like a moron since then.”
He added with a snicker, “You’re so lost in your own thoughts that you didn’t even realize I was walking beside you?”
Heinz looked backwards from the direction where Axel ca from, “So, you’re gonna tell what you were thinking? Grinning like a fool lost in your own world.”
Axel coughed out of embarrassnt, realizing he was indeed acting a bit like an idiot; maybe he was being affected by Sophia’s junior brother and senior sister fetish. “What are you talking about?”
Heinz grinned and gave him a long look, a look Axel knew all too well and didn’t like. His friend added with a dark chuckle, “You’ve been acting a bit different for a few days, being a bit too serious and sothing more, hehe, I knew sothing was going on between you two?”
Axel beca tensed involuntarily, ‘Isn’t this guy just a bit too perceptive? Damn it.’
“You’ve lost your damn mind, imagining things on your own.” He rebuked.
But the suggestive smile on Heinz’s lips did not falter in the slightest. He took a step closer, “Oh co on, don’t be such a baby, just tell the truth, one buddy to another. Did you do it with her?”
Axel almost stumbled to the ground, ‘The fuck? I couldn’t even express my feelings, this son of bi*** imaginations are too f*** wild, damn it.’
“Do what? Do who? How? The hell are you on about?”
“Eh, you really didn’t do the valkyrie? Then Lumina, you definitely did with her today?” Heinz wondered.
“Mf****, I didn’t do anyone, damn it,” he shouted.
He added further, this ti more calmly, “And for f** sake, can you please keep your voice down, and let’s talk about this inside our rooms, okay?”
Heinz showed a subtle surprise, “Oh, don’t tell you did it with both of them?”
Axel comically coughed up a mouthful of blood, hearing that, “For fucks sake, I’m a pure virgin, you goddamn bastard. And no, I don’t plan on doing anyone. Though I have the inkling to break your damn head to pieces right now.”
Heinz laughed and started walking, “You’re severely weakened at the mont, and considering the direction you ca from, you definitely fought with her, since she remains in that training hall for the latter half of the day. Not only that, considering how you have been grinning like a stupid moron, to the point of not noticing anyone approaching you, it’s so damn obvious, hehe, you definitely did sothing with her.”
“YOU SAY ONE MORE FUCKING WORD, I PROMISE BY VYRA’S NA I WILL ABSOLUTELY KILL YOU?” Axel stated in a nacing tone.
Heinz looked back at him and sneered, “You wouldn’t even be able to take on that Dusker trash, in this state, let alone .”
And Axel was obviously just trying to shut Heinz’s unhinged mouth and wasn’t serious.
The blue prince of the academy rubbed his eyelids in frustration. He then proceeded to follow quietly behind Heinz, ‘Must this guy always be so damn quick to catch onto things? Fuck.’ he cursed internally.
They both sat in Axel’s apartnt, while Heinz was looking at his friend expectantly for a complete story. He was determined not to leave without getting a proper explanation.
Axel tried one last ti, “Look, there really is nothing between and her, just trust .”
Heinz sighed, giving him an unimpressed look, “I know that in this weakened state, all of your senses are dulled to a pretty high degree, but this is quite bad. Her scent is all over your body, bro. Why do you think I have been questioning constantly if you did it with her or not?”
“Otherwise, I don’t see any other explanation for it,” he added in a sneer. “If you don’t want to say it, then tell straight to my face.”
“I don’t like it when people lie to so openly like this.” This ti, there was a serious tone in his voice.
A flicker of surprise flashed through Axel’s face. He sniffed himself, and Heinz’s statent was indeed true. How could he not have realized it? He inhaled deeply, in a gesture of defeat, “Fine, you win.”
“Well, yes, sothing is going on between us. But no, we didn’t do anything. Except for hugging each other a bit.” A bit of shyness escaped his lips. Because just thinking about it made him feel. Sweet on the inside.
Heinz was shocked, “Fucking hell, you just bagged the number one beauty in the whole of humanity, you do realize that, right?”
“Well, I an, yes, maybe.” A tone of undeniable pride was in his voice, though things were much more complicated. Sophia was indeed the most beautiful woman in the whole world, at least to him.
He added with a complicated look, “It’s a bit more complicated. I’m sorry I can’t tell you everything, at least not now. But I will tell you when the ti is right.”
Heinz’s eyes narrowed as he considered his friend’s previous words about this topic: he was unable to fall in love with anyone else, having only ever loved his childhood friend, and that love had never faded away. So, did that an his childhood friend had reincarnated as the valkyrie, but how can that be? The valkyrie was supposed to be a summoned being from another world, wasn’t she?
There was definitely sothing big going on, so big secret behind all these mysteries. Sothing even he could not deduce or imagine. He smiled, “It’s okay, I trust you, brother. After all, I promised you, even if the whole world turned against you. I’ll stand beside you no matter what, through ups and downs. Even if we lose, we’ll lose together.”
“Thank you, brother,” replied Axel. Though he was much different from the original Axel Nomrad, he could already see himself getting along with Heinz pretty well in the future. The rapport between the two was just that good. However, he was still cautious of Heinz; a trace of genuine gratitude gathered in his heart.
If they could get through this whole upcoming ordeal, he might actually be able to trust him at that ti.
Heinz said one last piece as he left, “By the way, I think you’d better be careful while interacting with Lumina from now on, otherwise the valkyrie might actually kill you. She is definitely a crazy bitch who would actually do that.”
Axel’s eyebrows twitched. If it were anyone else who called Sophia crazy, he would have an imdiate urge to kill them, but Heinz naturally did not an it in any bad way, and Heinz was right as well. He should be extrely cautious about this from now on. In fact, it was already a wonder that she did not imdiately question him about this in the training hall, considering how often he was so close to Lumina.
But he shuddered more in terror just thinking about how he had made out with that one maid back in the Nomrad mansion. At the sa ti, Sophia kept herself absolutely pure throughout her whole trial spanning over 100,000 years. That was really a shit move on his part. But it wasn’t entirely his fault; it was mostly the fault of the original remnant of this damn body—that damn horny bastard.
He resolved himself to take this matter to the grave. Under no circumstances must she ever, in a million years, find out about this, never.
