As Sophia and Axel left the Beast Forest, they left Prince Lucien nearly half-dead, open in the ground, without a care for whether a wild beast or monster would eat him. But unknown to the two of them, there was an individual who was seeing this from high in the sky, a powerful, regal-looking man with brown hair, a short brown beard, and brown eyes. It was the principal Alric Stragoy himself.

Yes, the very reason the Suncrest kings are the strongest individuals of humanity is because they have the blood of the valkyrie running through their veins, which makes them noticeably stronger than others within the sa phase of power. With a sigh, he stopped all these thoughts. The main reason he was here in the first place was to investigate the death of those 20 students. Thankfully, none of the children fighting below seems to be involved.

Alric had already begun to suspect a traitor or multiple traitors among them, even though he himself had been keeping an eye on them. Specifically, the suspicious ones, but there was no weird activity from their part. As for the ones the Principal trusted, there was no need to question anything about them, nor was there any suspicious activity from any of them.

And it was precisely the fact that despite the whole of the academy being under the surveillance of the principal and other powerful Seekers, there was not a single clue on how the students continued to disappear. Alric investigated it further and found a specific pattern in it. Most of the students who were disappearing were actually from the six minor kingdoms. The first 20 who were killed were from the three great kingdoms. But those who ’disappeared’ into thin air, 80% of them were from the minor kingdoms.
