Zena backed away in fear. She was badly injured, bloodied all over, and could barely move. The mysterious figure sighed and brought out a cloth from his storage space, throwing it towards the naked girl. He said, "Relax, I’m not here to harm you. Focus inside, finish your breakthrough to the third phase properly."

"Otherwise it would truly be a waste...None shall harm you or your brother as long as I stand here."

"After all, I’m the subordinate of Osiris," he revealed proudly.

Then he added with a heavy sigh, "But if you beco a failure. I will not have the permission to protect you anymore."

Zena barely heard those words, and she had no choice but to believe in them. Even without such statents, without the hateful knight interfering with the breakthrough, she naturally would not fail; she was not a flower grown in a garden, but one that thrived on the streets.

Even when not taken care of,

Even when being stomped by people without any regard,

Even when brought near the brink of death,

She ca back stronger,

Blood brighter,

After a few minutes of controlling and directing her energies through the right pathway, and managing her soul sanctum as well as the two aspect chambers. She finally ascended. Becoming a full-fledged third-phase Seeker.

A level that she longed to reach for such a long ti, but had no hopes of reaching. Through her ascension, the seed of despair had also managed to encroach on her greatly. She was transford, becoming even more beautiful.

Under the influence of the demonic seed, she gained even greater power than what she was supposed to gain if she broke through normally. She stood up, wearing a set of good clothes from her own storage ring. The first thing she did was to make sure that her brother was okay, feeding him dicine.

Then her eyes moved onto the powerful man standing there like a statue. She could not help but swallow nervously. Not sure of what he wanted. This man here was incredibly strong, far beyond her comprehension. At least a 4th-phase existence, for sure.

Then he looked towards the bleeding, unconscious knight; her eyes flashed coldly, and she was about to shove her spear into the chest of that wretch who was just about to rape her.

Before she could even attempt that, a pulse of overwhelming power spread from the standing man as he said, "Unfortunately, I cannot let you kill him now. Only when you have completed the assignnt given to you by Osiris will I hand over this wretch to you. Then you can do whatever you want with him."

Zena gritted her teeth and asked, "You want to control that family through ???"

The figure nodded without changing expression. He added, "I have one more offer. The way you are now. It would take too long for you to do that. At that ti, it would not be beneficial. Co with , and I will train both you and your sister. The two of you still lack experience greatly. Not to ntion you have no clue how to use the demonic seed of power inside."

"And that is the single greatest weapon you possess, right now. A power that you must learn to harness. Otherwise, that power will harness and control you in return. Sothing I do not wish to see, especially on soone like you who could beco much greater with just so good guidance."

Zena gazed back towards her brother, thinking of all the choices she had. In truth, she was already very grateful to this man, just for saving her from being raped. However, she did not like being pushed around like this. But it is what it is. In the end, she could only follow the will of the demon who was scheming everything from behind.

She nodded reluctantly and asked, "What should I call you?"

The figure thought for a mont, stating the na of his hidden persona, "Call Golgoth."

Zena picked up her unconscious brother.

"Thank you for saving us," she said, looking at Golgoth with a hint of gratefulness.

Gareth gestured towards her, "Follow ."

And thus from then on, the siblings Zena and Zen, who were pawns of Osiris, were delegated to be managed by Gareth, as they were tasked with taking over the strongest Ducal family of Ravenspire, the leading minor kingdom for the war against the great kingdoms, which joined hands with the Ghost race.

Axel needed this to happen as quickly as possible, for the potential benefits, as it would greatly accelerate his other work. Gareth was the perfect one to guide them towards that destination as fast as possible.

***

In the border between the Great Kingdoms and the Minor Kingdoms. An area with a radius of almost 50 kiloters was cleared out. Complete barren with nothing left, only wild animals of the 1st and 2nd tier road there.

And unfortunately, they would all die, because two mighty armies of inconceivable magnitude. Stood 20 kiloters apart from one another, even the weakest of beings who were actively participating in this conflict were 1st phase Seekers.

On the Great Kingdom’s side -

In the ginormous camp, countless mundane people were in charge of logistics and supply. They were also in charge of various other miscellaneous tasks that do not require a Seeker to perform.

A campaign of this magnitude was truly mind-boggling to the mundane; the air itself humd in the concentration of power as the countless Seekers were being accommodated in such a small area. Even though most of them were not actively exuding any extra energy in the air.

Right ahead of the Camp, stood 300,000 first-phase seekers, each wearing complete armor, a helt, and wielding shields, swords, spears, or blades. Those on the back wielded arrows and bows. They were standing in perfectly aligned rows.

Divided into three sections, each of the Great Kingdoms provided 100,000 first-phase Seekers.

A hundred ters above this mighty army, the soldiers could see four hovering figures, one of which shone in a golden light, with bright red eyes, and a disarming, easygoing smile. Still, his gaze was cold, filled with a silent rage, the fury of almost losing his sister without knowing about it, was like a fire that burned in his heart nonstop.

But at the sa ti, he was logical to the extre, not letting his personal emotions affect the weight of responsibility that had been placed upon him.

After all, He was the golden prince, Lucien Suncrest—the commander in chief of this entire army.

On his right flank stood Thorian Blackvale, his face expressionless, his figure almost unnoticeable. His eyes darted around with a cunning glint; he did not have any fury in his heart, but he only saw this war as a ans of profit. Granted the position of Vice-Commander.

To Lucien’s left flank floated Enrick Samartan, with an unknown beast on his shoulders, exuding a mysterious otherworldly power. He was also graced with the status of the Vice-Commander.

Unlike the other two, he seed sowhat nervous because he was afraid of war. Or the Ghost army, but more so, that if his brothers would try to assassinate him using this chance in the midst of battle. In conclusion, because it was a real possibility, his mind remained stuck on his royal family’s politics rather than fully focusing on the war at hand.

Behind these three stood perhaps the most unassuming one, yet he was the cornerstone, the one holding perhaps the most important position, Jaden Redmar, the general strategist of this war. His eyes darted around the entire army, even the logistics behind it.

Rethinking all the possibilities, plans, deductions of enemy attacks, and the necessary counterasures to them all. He stepped forward, as if walking through the air itself. But in fact, they were all wearing specialized artifacts that made them hover, since 2nd-phase Seekers could not float.

Standing shoulder to shoulder with the three princes, Jaden spoke, pointing at the distance. Lucien threw a certain object ahead, which floated, showing them all a zood-in view of 20 kiloters ahead. The enemy army had revealed itself.

In response to their 300,000-strong army, the enemy deployed their first line of attack: a staggering 600,000 peak 1st-phase undead.
