At the first blow of the majestic Warhorns that initiated the start of the second clash. The battalions of the unified army did not start marching imdiately. Rather, streaks of countless magic spells shot out from the rows behind, and fireballs rained down like teors.

Thunder fell like heavenly wrath, and wind tornadoes tore into marching undead golems, making them collapse. Light attacks that properly seeped inside the golem cores acted like a virus, frying up the creatures from within.

Massive stone balls that could crush mountains were thrown into the sky through artillery equipnt. Mana cannons shot out destructive balls of energy that caused imnse explosions on impact.

Most of the effective magic-based war equipnt requires at least 2nd phase beings to operate, which is why none of these were used in the first clash.

Undead golems fell one after another; the scale of catastrophic destruction changed the very ground terrain. Making the golems stumble and fall, causing a chain reaction.

From this long-range first strike, nearly one thousand bone golems standing at the very front fell. As a result of that, a tsunami of dust and debris, mixed with death energy, rose into the skies.

But eventually....

The remaining army of bone golems kept marching, and the tremor of Earth traveled from the ground to the human seekers’ feet and up into their brains. In a disturbing manner.

A singular command ca from the top warlord aspect holders of each battalion at once, amplified by the dreaded sensation of the impending clash: "MARCH SOLDIERS..."

The long-range mage aspect holders on the back of the battalion instantly switched their aspects. Thus, the marching unified army achieved a synchronous rhythm of movent.

But there were small divisional lines even within the battalions, slightly larger gaps, a different gesture of the hands while the soldiers marched, which indicated the smaller teams, each responsible for killing or holding off at least a certain number of the bone golems.

When the two rushing armies were but a minute away from one another, a voice reached the ears of Suncrest battalion soldiers: "Your storage rings contain an effective rune weapon against the undead. Wield it."

The soldiers were caught off guard by their prince’s unexpected announcent. But all the soldiers were trained to be as efficient as possible, able to take quick yet optimal actions at a mont’s notice without disrupting the army’s harmonious march.

The mont the Suncrest battalions’ soldiers wielded the majestic, golden, engraved rune weapon in their hands. A rush of the purest elental power of the world, attuned with their very own aspects, rushed within their system.

Not only that, when they noticed that these were common grade 2nd tier rune tools, they were shocked, because the increased efficiency in their energies, as well as the various stat incrents, which, mind you, were not simply random, but were in line with their one aspects. All of this could be activated with minimal energy expenditure.

The damn rune weapons were almost as good as epic-grade rune tools, while only being classified as common-grade. It didn’t make sense to them.

But that was nothing but good news; the morale of the Suncrest battalion reached a crescendo. Right next, similar announcents from Enrick and Thorian reached the other two battalions.

The morale of the collective unified army right before the clash was boosted to the extre, and for this very reason, they had done it like this, instead of using the rune tools from the start.

When faced with the possibility of certain death, news like this would increase their battle prowess, make them fight harder, and turn the soldiers’ previous negative impression into a positive one.

The battalions hurriedly split into many sections, creating larger gaps within the grand formation. Every small and big team had a spellcaster within them.

They instantly activated earth-based magic, which took effect instantaneously. Countless 10-ter-tall spikes of hardened earth rose, and the dumb bone golems smashed onto them without any regard. The earth spikes broke, but they served their purpose, halting the bone golems’ march once more, even if it was ever so slightly.

The unified army was prepared all for it, with mighty rune weapons in hand, shimring with the purest of power. All teams targeted a few bone golems each.

Multiple ripples of shockwave spread from the center of the battlefield where the clash between mana and death energy had occurred.

Creating deep craters with each monuntal clash. Bone golems began to fall one after another, and the soldiers of not only the Suncrest Battalion but also the other two battalions continued raining down fury nonstop through the rune weapons.

The rune weapons wielded by the Samartan and Blackvale soldiers were not the slightest bit inferior to the Suncrest soldiers’ rune weapons.

In the skies, standing on a floating platform artifact, Lucien noticed this through the water screen that gave them a close-up view of the ongoing ground battle. His gaze slowly shifted to the sides, where the other three stood, also observing the sa battle with complete focus.

Noticing his gaze, Enrick turned his head, showing a smile that was not a smile. Lucien asked coldly, "Where did you get those rune weapons?"

But the Samartan prince rely said, "Did you really think our lands don’t have any hidden talents?"

Lucien took in a deep breath, his mind racing; he knew it was most likely nothing but bullshit. For another talent on the sa level as Axel Nomrad to pop out of nowhere, at a ti like this? What a joke!

But from the look of it, those rune tools do seem sowhat different; maybe he would have to show so samples of them to Lumina to clarify whether they are made by Axel or not.

But he was already 90% sure of the truth that lay in front of his eyes. That obviously provoking grin from Enrick, it suggested the obvious thing. That fucker actually dared to make under-the-table deals with Samartan and Blackvale.

Lucien would make sure that the blue-eyed bastard would know the consequences of it when the ti was right.
