The lid of the pod was still closed, thinking about the words she said, he breathed in deeply, and closed his eyes for a mont and feel his insides, he could feel the mana, and the power coursing through him, but he was shocked, he could instinctively feel it, the laws of this world were far far stronger and opressive than what was in the trial world.
But the power, coursing through him, was extrely great, and heavy, there were so incongruities in the trial world, that body of his never felt like his own, but now he truly felt like his existence had transford, it almost felt like, only as a first phase Seeker, his power was even greater than what he wielded as a peak 4th circle mage, which wasn’t true.
His was existence now was purer, not exactly stronger.
But the power difference was quite less than what he expected, and in turn his existense felt hiw own and more clear, it was hard to put the feelings into words, and he could feel the ability to release a pressure as a first phase Seeker.
He could feel a very basic level of runic circuit within his body, he simply kept sensing his surroundings, he opened his eyes after sowhat getting the hang of it.
He was also careful not to move around too much; the increase in his physical strength was extrely high, at least compared to what it was before.
So, even with the slightest movent, the pod might break apart.
And he was sure each of the pods was quite expensive in its own right.
The nurse seeing his calm and controlled expression, nodded towards him in understanding as she finally opened the lid, she stated with a smile putting off the mask from her face, “Congratulations on completing the trial.” Axel simply forced out a smile and said, “Thank you.” He put his hands on the sides of the pod to get up, controlling his strength, but ended up making a large dent in it anyway by the simple act.
He gave an apologetic look towards the nurse, but the woman only seed shocked by the strength of his.
Axel looked around and the saw everone coming out of the pods, similar to himself, most of the students had a horrified expression in their faces, many of them seem to feel almost hollow.
Without a shred of doubt, everyone had their own traumatic experiences in the trial, especially the talented ones who fought against the circumstances of the trial.
Axel looked around everyone and saw the figure of the 4th prince, who had a lifeless look on his eyes, he looked at the guy with so lingering pity, he knew what a devastating experience he went through, then his eyes pierced through the countless students in the large white hall, the figure of the Valkyrie appeared in his vision, and….and…..
She looked even more beautiful than she was before.
His eyes widened seeing that enchanting beauty, unable to take his eyes away from her.
Axel actually did not know what she went through in her trial, as far as he knew, she had it the worst.
If he wasn’t wrong, she was likely the one who had placed first in the trial, with the greatest achievent.
If it wasn’t for what his grandfather did, Axel would be placed in the 3rd place or maybe even lower, the 4th prince being the second one.
The ruthlessness and the coldness in her seem to have increased greatly than what it was before.
But her increased beauty only attracted more stares from all the males.
Even those who seem to have went through so tough shit forgot their traumas for a mont looking at her.
Ah, that’s right, a simple and crude way to initially judge how each of the students perford is to take note of the difference in their appearance from before and after the trial, everyone could see how much the appearance of the Valkyrie had changed how she beca far more beautiful, Axel himself did not understand how was it possible to increase her beauty even further than what it already was.
Another one was obviously the 4th prince, and then was he, actually, since he was placed second in the whole trial, his appearance also changed greatly, many of the nurses and teachers took note of that, if it wasn’t for the fact that the 4th prince was innately more good looking, he would be the most handso among all the males.
For so reason, the Valkyrie tilted her head slightly towards him and his eyes directly t with her scarlet penetrating gaze.
He instantly averted his eyes in fear and sha, he didn’t want to get involved with the main characters just yet.
For a mont, he began to sweat as a sense of dread washed over him.
As the Valkyrie kept looking at him suspiciously for so unknown reason.
Fortunately, she averted her piercing gaze after a few seconds, but this gesture did not escape the eyes of many prominent males and females.
Since most of them did not know Axel, they made a ntal note to find out about him and teach him a lesson in the future, especially the males.
But Axel couldn’t care less about them, for him, the greatest danger was falling prey to the beauty of the Valkyrie; he would rather not fall for a woman whom he would never have a shot with.
She belonged to the 4th prince.
He shook his head and got rid of all the unnecessary thoughts, he looked at the nurse who was looking at him with an intense gaze for so unknown reason, he asked carefully, “Um…is sothing wrong?” The woman finally got back to her senses, she coughed slightly in embarrassnt, she said with so shyness, “You’re eyes are really beautiful, I have never seen such beautiful eyes in my life.” He gave a confused look towards her, but then sothing clicked in his mind, as he thought to himself, ‘Uh, right, the runic eyes, how did I forget about that.
Eh, right, the runic eyes must be the reason why she looked at like that, not that she would ever find my eyes beautiful, rather she must have wondered what I did to get eyes like that, or the functions of my eyes.’ Axel controlled the mana in him, and the runic golden symbol in his iris vanished and lded into his deep blue eyes.
The nurse had a disappointed look on her face.
She eventually said with a sigh, “For now, please go back to the lodging where you lived on your first day here.
All the new arrangents based on your accomplishnts would be evaluated, and your new lodgings shall be allocated tomorrow.” Axel nodded and walked towards Heinz Gil whose pod was right him.
The guy seem to have a trace of despair on him, Heinz looked at him and forced out a smile, but Axel spoke first with a concerned look, putting his hand on his shoulder, “You alright, Heinz?” Heinz spoke with a trace of sadness, “I guess….” Axel spoke reassuringly patting his shoulder lightly, “Alright, lets go back for now, we can talk about it later if you want.” Heinz spoke with a trace of gratitude towards him, “Thanks, man.” Having his one hand on Heinz’s shoulder, they started to walk back together.
It was quite an ungentlemanly thing to do, walking while having your hand on another person’s shoulder, but neither Heinz nor Axel cared about those stares.
Axel also noticed this guy had changed quite a bit himself.
He didn’t rember the details of what Heinz went through, but noticing his mood, it must have been tough.
While he was walking back, what Axel did not notice was that many people secretly took notice of him, many of the girls were awstruck from his majestic appearance, which now seed to be only sowhat lacking from the 4th prince, in terms of appearance.
While Ken Dusker noticed him and looked at him with an obvious but hidden hatred deep in his eyes.
The 4th prince also looked at the back of both Axel and Heinz, he could instinctively feel it, because of his superior level of awareness, both of them seed to be quite strong, he was sure.
