After a montary back and forth with Daenerys, Logan was finally forced to head to the academy.

According to her, she’d be alright. It was just the upgrade of her Origin Path, and there was no need to worry about her life.

Logan stepped out of the bathroom feeling refreshed and glanced in her direction.

He hesitated for a mont as though pondering sothing before walking over to her and giving her a kiss on the lips.

"I’ll return the mont I’m done with classes."

"Alright," Daenerys replied, surprised by the affectionate display.

Logan lingered for a few seconds before leaving the room.

He was surprised by his own movents, taken aback that he’d given her a kiss.

It seed his thoughts and emotions towards her were... changing?

Not willing to ponder on it much, Logan shifted his attention away from the thought completely.

He walked out of the room and noticed Snow lazily lying down on the couch with an exhausted expression.

"Little guy," Logan called out, "you still haven’t recovered from obtaining a God-grade Origin Ability? Is it really that powerful?" he asked suspiciously.

He still didn’t know if God-grade was above SSS-rank.

From the cat’s behaviour, that didn’t seem to be the case. After all, it wouldn’t have been weakened to such an extent.

"I’m gonna go out for a bit. If there’s any danger, make sure to protect the lady inside, okay?" Logan advised and ruffled Snow’s hair.

His words sounded illogical, but Logan still recalled the Origin Ability the cat copied.

Absolute Defence?

He didn’t know the depths of the Origin Ability, but he already had suspicions in his heart.

...

Logan could be seen taking a vehicle to the academy.

Before long, he arrived at the location.

The mont Logan stepped out of the vehicle, his footsteps paused slightly.

Towering far above the clouds stood an enormous structure that resembled a city fused together with a fortress.

Countless silver buildings stretched across the landscape, layered one behind another like an endless tallic kingdom. Bridges connected different sections of the academy while enormous crystalline pillars rose into the sky, glowing faintly with blue light.

At the very center stood the main tower.

It was so tall that the peak couldn’t even be seen clearly, disappearing deep into the clouds above.

Nurous floating platforms revolved slowly around it while streams of students continuously moved in and out of different entrances below.

The sheer scale of the academy made people appear insignificant.

Logan silently observed the scene.

Vehicles continuously arrived one after another, dropping off students from all over the city.

So students looked excited.

Others looked nervous.

A few couldn’t even hide the tears in their eyes.

Nearby, a girl tightly hugged her mother while trying to hold back her emotions.

"I’ll call every week," she muttered softly.

"Don’t get bullied, okay?" her mother replied with reddened eyes while fixing the girl’s collar repeatedly as though unwilling to let go.

Not far away, a tall man placed his hand on his son’s shoulder.

"Rember why you ca here," he said with a serious expression. "The academy isn’t a playground. If you can’t endure hardship, then return ho imdiately."

Despite his stern tone, the slight trembling in his eyes couldn’t be hidden.

The boy nodded silently.

Elsewhere, several parents continuously gave instructions to their children while so students impatiently urged them to leave already out of embarrassnt.

The atmosphere was strangely emotional.

This academy represented the beginning of a completely different life for many of them.

For so families, this was pride.

For others, separation.

Logan quietly watched the various scenes unfold before him.

For a brief mont, his thoughts unconsciously drifted elsewhere.

His parents.

A faint ripple appeared in his eyes before disappearing just as quickly.

Since arriving in this world, he’d known nothing about his parents.

Were they dead in the massacre that happened that night?

Since everyone who was present there was dead, including the maids, he had no thod of obtaining information about them.

With a slow sigh, Logan pushed the thought to the back of his mind.

He withdrew his gaze and looked back toward the towering academy.

Students continuously flowed toward the entrance like an endless stream.

Without lingering further, Logan began walking forward as well.

As Logan approached the entrance, he began noticing just how absurd the number of students truly was.

The entire area beneath the academy resembled a massive city square, packed with countless young n and won dragging suitcases, carrying backpacks, or standing together in groups.

Large holographic screens floated high above the grounds, continuously displaying information regarding class assignnts, dormitory zones, entrance procedures, and academy regulations.

Voices overlapped endlessly.

So were filled with excitent.

Others carried anxiety and unease.

"Did you hear the combat departnt’s death rate last year was nearly twelve percent?"

"Twelve percent? Stop exaggerating."

"I’m serious! My cousin studies here!"

"Mom, I said stop worrying already..."

"Rember to eat properly."

"Dad, you’ve repeated that six tis..."

Logan calmly observed everything while continuing forward.

The academy grounds themselves were enormous.

The outer region alone was larger than several districts combined.

Massive pathways extended in every direction while countless smaller towers surrounded the central one like loyal subjects surrounding a king.

Everywhere he looked, students wearing different uniforms could be seen moving through the academy with hurried expressions.

So possessed calm and confident deanours.

Others radiated sharp pressure without even trying.

Logan even noticed a young man casually lifting several heavy suitcases with telekinesis while speaking to his friends.

Nearby, another student absentmindedly generated flas in his palm while listening to a girl speak.

Origin Abilities.

Everywhere.

For ordinary people, this place would likely resemble a gathering of monsters.

Suddenly, a loud chanical voice echoed throughout the surroundings.

[All newly enrolled students are requested to proceed toward the registration hall.]

[Please prepare your identification bracelets for verification.]

The crowd imdiately began moving.

Large streams of students headed toward the academy entrance simultaneously.

Logan followed behind them calmly, already vaguely knowing the registration hall in his mind.

He’d written about this place after all.

As he walked closer, the size of the entrance beca even more apparent.

Several enormous tallic gates stood open while academy staff continuously guided students inward.

The atmosphere gradually beca more serious.

Parents stopped at the outer periter while students alone entered beyond the gates.

This was the true mont of separation.

So students waved one last ti before entering.

Others deliberately avoided turning back entirely.

Logan watched silently as a boy ahead of him suddenly ran back and hugged his mother tightly once more before quickly rushing away in embarrassnt.

The woman laughed through teary eyes.

A strange silence settled in Logan’s heart montarily.

He didn’t stop walking.

Step.

Step.

Step.

Crossing past the gates felt almost symbolic.

The noise from outside gradually faded behind him.

What unfolded beyond the entrance was an enormous inner plaza filled with towering structures, moving transport platforms, artificial lakes, training arenas, and countless streams of students.

At the very center of the plaza stood a gigantic black monolith covered in glowing nas and rankings.

Students continuously looked toward it with nervous expressions.

So looked excited.

Others looked pale.

Logan narrowed his eyes slightly.

At the end of every year, the top ten on the gigantic monolith would proceed to challenge people from various academies.

The winning academy would proceed to explore an unknown, unique Origin Gate all on their own!

The top ten...

Logan glanced at the monolith, and a na caught his eye.

Avery Adams.

Ranked number one.

Another heroine...

Logan’s gaze lingered on the glowing na for a brief mont before he calmly looked away.

Unlike the others staring at the rankings with admiration or excitent, his expression remained completely unchanged.

After all, he knew exactly who Avery Adams was.

One of the main heroines.

One of the true monsters of the academy he’d created.

A genius possessing the terrifying Origin Ability known as Quantum Duplication, capable of creating temporary versions of herself from neighboring probability states.

An ability that had once allowed her to overwhelm an entire upper-year squad alone during her first sester.

And currently...

Far stronger than him.

Logan’s eyes narrowed slightly.

At this stage of the story, Avery was already considered one of the brightest stars within the third years.

Nurous instructors favored her heavily while many students practically worshipped her existence.

She was Beautiful, Talented, and unimaginably.

The perfect protagonist-supporting heroine template.

But now... he’d decided...

He wanted her to be his as well.
