While the academy had dormitories for its students, one could choose either to stay within the academy grounds or own a house nearby.
There were obvious benefits to remaining inside the academy. Constant protection from the staff was one of them.
Outside the academy, danger was far more real. Assassination attempts weren’t uncommon for talented students.
However, Logan wasn’t too worried about that for now.
After leaving the academy under the watchful stares of the surrounding students, he took a car ho.
His SSS-rank potential had already placed him in the sa league as legends like Avery Adams and a few other terrifying monsters from Class Four.
Logan didn’t care much about what the students were thinking.
His mind was elsewhere.
After he was done with Daenerys, he planned to move into the dormitories. There was no reason for him to continue staying outside anymore.
’There’s also that date I was supposed to go on with Cecilia,’ Logan recalled, thinking about the second date he had promised her. His brows furrowed slightly.
He decided that after checking up on Daenerys at ho, he would get dressed and head out to settle things with Cecilia.
He needed to deepen their relationship. He didn’t want her getting involved with the protagonist.
For now, he could already guess where most of her emotions were directed.
Logan glanced through the vehicle window, quietly admiring the passing scenery outside.
Soon, the car screeched to a stop.
He tossed the driver a few gold coins before stepping out and walking toward his ho with light, unhurried steps.
With a gentle twist of the handle, he stepped inside.
Daenerys hadn’t locked the door.
The mont he entered, a rich fragrance drifted into his nostrils.
Food?
Logan glanced around, slightly startled.
The scent was coming from the kitchen.
After shutting the door behind him, he walked toward the kitchen quietly.
The mont he reached the doorway, he froze.
Inside, Daenerys stood before the stove with an apron tied around her waist, the fabric tracing the outline of her curves as she stirred the simring soup before her.
But that wasn’t what startled him most.
"Help with the bottle of pepper mix." Daenerys said without looking back.
Snow imdiately sprinted toward the cupboard, tugged it open with his tiny paw, then tossed the bottle toward Daenerys.
She caught it effortlessly and sprinkled so into the soup before bringing the spoon to her lips for a small taste.
A satisfied nod followed.
Logan stood rooted to the spot, completely dumbfounded by the sight.
Was Snow his summoned creature or hers?
The little guy was always prideful around him, yet in front of Daenerys he behaved like a loyal little servant.
Logan snorted softly before clearing his throat, finally drawing their attention.
Daenerys turned imdiately.
"Oh, Logan, you’re back." Daenerys smiled sweetly.
"How was your first day of classes?" she asked curiously as she approached him for a closer look.
A thin bead of sweat trickled along the side of her face, causing several strands of hair to cling lightly against her skin. Sohow, it only made her look even more beautiful.
She leaned closer and pinched his cheeks lightly.
"I hope you didn’t embarrass too much?"
Logan swatted her hand away.
"It was alright."
"Go shower. You stink. In the anti, I’m almost done preparing dinner, so just sit tight and it’ll be served, okay?" Daenerys said with a smile.
"What about your health?" Logan asked.
That morning, she had been feverish to the point she could barely move. Yet now she looked perfectly agile and was even cooking.
He couldn’t help wondering about it.
"Oh, that. I’m alright now, although to a certain extent I can still feel changes happening within my body. My origin path should be in the final stages of its evolution." Daenerys replied warmly.
Logan eyed her suspiciously.
He was curious to see whether an origin ability could truly evolve into a higher rank.
With that thought, he shot Snow a glare before finally turning around and heading toward the bathroom.
Daenerys watched Logan’s departing figure with a faint smile before shaking her head and returning to the al.
"Co, little guy, we still have quite a bit of work to do."
Hearing her words, Snow’s eyes lit up instantly. His tail wagged rapidly as he rushed toward her again.

Logan ca out soti later, and dinner was already served.
A bowl of salad, soup, and finely cooked at rested neatly across the table.
Logan glanced at Daenerys suspiciously, genuinely surprised she could cook this well.
He lifted a spoonful to his mouth.
His eyes flickered slightly.
Daenerys noticed imdiately and smiled to herself, clearly pleased he enjoyed the food.
She then turned toward the little guy beside her and brought a rubber spoon toward his mouth.
Snow imdiately turned his head away.
"Snow doesn’t eat als like that." Logan inford her.
"Oh, Snow? That’s his na?"
He nodded.
Daenerys reached out with her slender fingers and gently stroked Snow’s fur.
"That’s quite a fitting na for you."
Snow purred softly before climbing into her lap and settling there comfortably with his eyes closed.
Logan’s eye twitched faintly at the sight, though his expression remained neutral.
After finishing dinner, he inford Daenerys that he was heading out.
Daenerys slowly turned toward him, her gaze moving up and down his figure.
"You’re not going to see another woman, are you?" she asked suspiciously.
Logan almost choked on the water in his mouth.
Daenerys quickly moved closer, gently rubbing his back.
"Do well to co back in ti. I don’t want to miss you too much." She smiled teasingly.
Logan could already understand what she was implying, and for a brief mont, a faint hint of anticipation stirred in his chest.
"We shouldn’t do that tonight. You’re still recovering. Tomorrow or so other day is better, after you’re fully alright." He inford her.
Daenerys smiled before nodding obediently.
"Whatever you say... master..."
The sultry softness in her voice instantly sent heat coursing through Logan’s blood.
He quickly stood up.
If he lingered any longer, Daenerys would probably end up convincing him to stay.

Before long, he entered his room and began getting dressed for the dinner.
