These n had done too many wrongful deeds, so Lin Fan's sudden appearance deep in the night naturally had them trembling, fearing they had encountered a ghost.
Seeing through the thugs' thoughts, Lin Fan let out a cold chuckle.
"What? Are you just dogs? Only dare to bark but don't have the guts to co up and try?"
He beckoned them with a wave, smiling broadly.

The more he laughed, the more panicked the thugs grew.
The burly leader breathed heavily, sweat the size of beans rolling down his forehead, his palm on the knife handle was drenched and sticky, almost losing grip.

The burly n visibly shuddered, exchanging looks as if trying to conceal their identity.
But the armor was too conspicuous to hide.
In their hurry to leave, they assud in the late night they'd et no one, thus didn't bother to change into regular clothes.
Unfortunately, they ran into Lin Fan!
The rough leader's face twitched, his gaze suddenly fierce and terrifying, ferocity on full display!
"Heh, apologies brother. Don't bla us, bla yourself for ddling today and ruining our fun! Complain to King Yan in hell!"

The knife slashed horizontally!

In the dark thicket, seven cold lights suddenly glead.

The woman scread, closing her eyes and turning her head, sobbing softly.
Utter despair and helplessness.
For the soon-to-be-dead Lin Fan and herself, unable to escape this fate.

After a few loud noises, silence resud.
The thicket returned to its original tranquility.
The wind rustled leaves, insects chirped, birds sang.
The woman's sobbing was especially loud in the quiet thicket.
"It's alright now, everything is fine."
Suddenly.
A gentle voice reached her ears, touching her heart.
The woman froze, suddenly looking up.
It was Lin Fan's handso face!
"Ah?"
She involuntarily let out a cry of surprise.
"Surprised?" Lin Fan smiled.
The woman blinked her big eyes, coming back to her senses, and shook her head vigorously.
"N-No, I'm not..."
She swallowed, tilted her head, peering around Lin Fan.
Seven people lay on the ground, motionless!
Dead or fainted, she couldn't tell.
Lin Fan leaned in, untying her restraints.
Her heart was pounding!
"Th-Thank you..."
"Yun'er, co take care of her."
The woman was startled, there was soone else?!
She saw Diwu Yun'er, sword in hand, stepping from the darkness, looking exasperated and indifferent.
"Apologies for the trouble."
Lin Fan smiled slightly, leaving the woman and walking towards the leader.
He grabbed the half-dead thug from the ground, leaned close: "Where is the Xuan Clan's little princess?"
The thug opened his eyes wide in fear, stamring: "Y-You are... Xuan, Xuan Clan..."
He had never thought that the seemingly ordinary-looking man could be so formidable!
Easily taking down all seven of them!
It seed... the ones heading to hell... were themselves!
The thug shook with fear.
"Speak! Where is she?! Or else..."
Lin Fan clenched his fist, the nearby void contracted, with a bang, another thug's body suddenly vanished!
Obliterated for eternity.
The thug wet himself from fright, no longer daring to hide anything, he spilled everything out.
