The crowd was shocked, their hearts trembling as they turned around cautiously, watching Mr. Lan with reverence.

"Mr. Lan!"

"Mr. Lan!"

Only to see Lan Zhengqing striding over, looking formidable, his expression very unpleasant, resembling a livid shade of purple akin to pig liver.

Especially upon seeing those won, his body jolted, his purplish face instantly turning ashen.

The won also caught sight of Lan Zhengqing and started shouting.

"It’s over... it’s completely over..."

"We’re going to die here."

"Wuuu..."

"I don’t want to die, I want to live..."

"So terrifying!"

Blizzard Village was instantly filled with hysterical wailing, echoing across the sky.

Outside, the weather was frigid and icy!

And these won, barely covered, were already shivering from the cold, yet upon Lan Zhengqing’s appearance, everyone forgot about the cold, feeling only fear.

Fear from deep within!

Lan Zhengqing listened to the cries, extrely irritated.

The won’s cries deeply annoyed him!

From the bottom of his heart, annoying!

Originally, he had placed all these won in one room, but their endless wailing and shouting, he simply couldn’t stand it, so he locked them all in the cellar, and finally got peace.

Now.

These won were causing trouble again!

He had just entered Divine Phoenix’s room, ready to enjoy himself.

When suddenly he heard shouts from outside!

Damn it!

His good mood was instantly ruined, so he had to leave Divine Phoenix behind and hurried out to see what was going on.

Upon seeing these won standing in single garnts in the snowy ice fields.

He was utterly surprised!

It wasn’t because of their clothing, but because they were here!

Didn’t he instruct Qiu Xi to kill them all?

How are they here in Blizzard Village?

He said nothing, coldly staring at the desperate won before him, then scanned the surrounding Ice Cicada Sect mbers.

No trace of Qiu Xi.

What had happened?

"Alright, stop crying already!" Lan Zhengqing shouted in anger, furious.

He didn’t like surprises; he preferred everything orderly, proceeding according to his plans.

He disliked surprises, and even more so shocks.

Their appearance was a thorough shock to him, far beyond what he anticipated.

In all his arrangents, this scene should not have happened.

Thus.

There must have been a flaw sowhere, causing this impossible occurrence to truly happen.

Beyond his control, sothing Lan Zhengqing hated most.

Thus, he was furious, his inner rage igniting instantly.

After an angry shout.

Blizzard Village completely cald down.

No one dared breathe, all held their breath, their features full of fear.

Seeing everyone quiet down, Lan Zhengqing took a deep breath and cald down.

"Seen Qiu Xi?" he asked suddenly, hands behind his back.

The Ice Cicada Sect mbers were stunned, looking at each other, then started searching among the crowd, but couldn’t find Qiu Xi’s figure.

Logically, with such a big incident, Qiu Xi shouldn’t be unaware; she should have been the first to rush to the scene.

Yet, she was nowhere to be seen now, truly weird.

"No... haven’t seen Commander..." a subordinate said, trembling, in a low voice.

"Haven’t seen, have you?"

"Y-Yes..."

"Haven’t seen, why the hell are you still standing here, hurry up and find her!"

Lan Zhengqing’s eyes widened with fury, seething with anger.

These deprived souls truly are deprived souls!

Even less than trash, kicking trash can at least make it move, these souls might not even budge from a kick, utterly useless!

The Ice Cicada Sect mbers finally snapped back to reality, hurriedly scattering to search for Qiu Xi’s trace.

Lan Zhengqing, hands behind his back, slowly walked to stand before the won.

A smile lifted his lips.

"Ladies, are you cold, do you need to fetch clothes for you?"

Though Lan Zhengqing’s face wore a smile, it was colder than the storm itself!

All the won shuddered violently!

Wide-eyed, faces full of fear, trembling as they retreated!

They no longer trusted Lan Zhengqing; seeing his smile only made them more tense.

"D-Don’t co over!"

"Go away!"

"Sister, so scary..."

"Lan Zhengqing, damn you!"

The crowd erupted with curses, but they didn’t stop Lan Zhengqing’s steps, who slowly walked over, cold eyes watching them, a sly light flashing in his eyes.

"Tell , how did you escape?"

Silence.

Not a sound.

Everyone held their breath instantly, not daring to exhale.

Even though Lan Zhengqing’s tone was calm and steady, it carried a limitless murderous intent that sent chills through the bones.

"Nobody wants to speak? Seems like you want to freeze to death here? It’s fine, I have ti to wait; whenever you’re ready to talk, you can talk."

He smiled, hands crossed over his chest, looking unconcerned.

Howling wind, bone-chilling cold.

The won shivered in the cold wind, faces pale and devoid of blood.

Frozen!

Stunned!

Confounded!

For a mont, unable to decide what to do; speak or not speak, it seed death was inevitable.

Finally, one woman couldn’t endure the cold, rushing out from the crowd.

"I’ll talk! I’ll talk! It was..."

But before she could speak, an Ice Cicada Sect mber hurriedly interrupted her confession, whispered a few words in Lan Zhengqing’s ear.

The woman’s face instantly turned rigid, watching helplessly as her chance to survive slipped away.

"Qiu Xi fainted at the cellar entrance?"

"Yes."

"Alright, I got it, take Qiu Xi away to rest."

"Yes."

The Ice Cicada Sect mber received the order and vanished hurriedly into the storm.

Lan Zhengqing turned around, smiling slightly at the woman who wanted to confess.

"Sorry, you seem to be a bit late; I already know what’s going on, so your confession is useless. Such a pity, if you’d only been a bit quicker, without hesitation for so long, you might have survived. But now, you can only die here with them in the storm, never to be found."

"Ah—" The woman’s body shuddered violently!

She collapsed, seated on the ground, tears streaming, trembling uncontrollably!

Lan Zhengqing took a deep breath, looking expressionlessly at everyone.

"Though I really want you to leave, I can’t take that risk. This place is unknown, and must remain so; thus, you must keep this secret, and the safest way is for all of you, to die."

Boom!

Lan Zhengqing erupted with a terrifying aura, a huge wave crashing toward the won.

Instantly!

The entire Blizzard Village was filled with sharp screams!
