He looked up towards the Chen Family Manor, his serious face showing a trace of puzzlent.
Then, the middle-aged man looked towards the young driver beside him and asked, "Little Wang, did you hear that? A tiger’s roar from the Chen Family?"
Hearing this, Little Wang nodded. "Chief, I heard it. It really was that sound. Has a tiger gotten into the Chen Family’s grounds? Should I contact the local authorities to co and capture it?"
As he spoke, Little Wang pulled out his phone, ready to call the local governnt offices of Talltree District.
Before he could make the call, the middle-aged man reached out to stop him. He shook his head and said, "No need. Based on my understanding of Elder Chen, that tiger roar probably isn’t from a wild tiger that got in, but from a tiger Elder Chen is keeping at ho!"
"Keeping a tiger?"
Upon hearing this, Little Wang was sowhat baffled, finding it hard to comprehend.
Seriously? You can actually keep those things? Though tigers and cats belong to the sa family, given the size of a tiger, wouldn’t one lick be enough to tear a chunk of flesh off a person? Is Elder Chen really that wild?
