The reason was that on January 7th, soone had posted a video of a fire online. The video was quite blurry, but one could still make out Zhang Beixing flying up ten ters to rescue a child from the third floor. Such an incredible scene led them all to the consensus that it had to be a movie clip. Consequently, when they later saw the video of Zhang Beixing walking on water, netizens subconsciously regarded it as part of a movie plot as well.
But now, the Pu’er City Fire Brigade had released an announcent making the incident public. Following this announcent, they also posted a very clear video of the scene. The netizens realized this matter might not be what they had initially thought.
However, they still harbored a glimr of hope. What if they weren’t wrong? What if Zhang Beixing really did go shoot a movie and, just their luck, shot one of the sa genre? Isn’t that how movie promotions like to roll nowadays? Fighting freely in a cinema after watching a movie, wiping away tears at the office while watching a movie, blind people watching movies, the Jingkang Sha... Compared to these outrageous movie promotions that taphorically ground netizens’ brains into the dust, a similar fire-thed promotion for Zhang Beixing could be acceptable, especially since he actually did enter the fire to save people.

What caught their eyes was the chaotic street. Huge flas were burning, and the piercing sirens of smashed cars filled the air. Apart from the different perspective and clarity, the rest matched the content of the previous video exactly. Seeing this, the netizens’ expressions tensed; even the slowest among them could sense sothing was amiss.
Their gaze sharpened as they continued to watch. Under the high-definition cara, they saw soone in the crowd point out a child trapped on the third floor. Imdiately after, Zhang Beixing erged. Just like in the previous video, after stepping out from the crowd, he took large strides, rushing toward the blazing fire. But this ti, the video was crystal clear.
It was so clear that the netizens could even see the flas nearly licking at Zhang Beixing’s body. So clear, in fact, that they saw Zhang Beixing leap upwards, seemingly using the flas themselves for impetus. Then, in mid-air, he paused.

It wasn’t just because they discovered that Zhang Beixing’s feat of leaping ters into the air to save soone from a fire was real; it was also because they rembered the video they’d seen of him walking on water.
Previously, due to their preconceived notions, they had always believed that video was fake.
