What does this damn girl an? She just cos up and asks if I’m no good anymore? Is she looking for trouble?!
"Got nothing better to do?"
Or perhaps she thinks that I, Zhang Beixing, haven’t disciplined her recently, and now she’s itching for it?
Zhang Beixing didn’t say the second half of his sentence. But through his expression and tone, the aning was self-evident.
Sensing this, Chen Rourou’s smile imdiately beca sheepish. She shook her head repeatedly. Taking advantage of the fact that Zhang Beixing hadn’t blown his top yet, she dashed to the side and started practicing her punches with a feigned look of hardship, chuckling to herself.
Seeing this, Zhang Beixing scoffed coldly. He was too lazy to bother too much with Chen Rourou. Because at the mont, he still had unfinished business.
Yesterday, Zhang Beixing had received two suggestions. They were the recently practiced "Sword Enemy Slaying" and "Flesh into Saint." After experintation, it was clear he wasn’t going to master "Sword Enemy Slaying" any ti soon.
So he needed to ponder "Flesh into Saint." I can’t just let it sit there in my task list, gathering dust. It needs progress as well.
The suggestion for "Flesh into Saint" required Zhang Beixing to be able to withstand bullets. From its requirents, it was not difficult to see that the key to completing it was definitely related to Zhang Beixing’s own ability to withstand impacts, muscle density, and physical strength.
But ordinary training thods, such as external martial arts or Hard Qigong, were certainly of no use to Zhang Beixing now. Therefore, to complete this suggestion, Zhang Beixing had to find a new approach and dig deeper into the matter.
After pondering all of last night, Zhang Beixing finally found a possibly feasible thod in the "Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal dicine."
It says:
"The heart stores the spirit, the lungs store Qi, the liver stores blood, the spleen stores flesh, and the kidneys store willpower; these together form one’s figure."
"When willpower and intent are harmonized, they connect internally to the bone marrow, shaping the physical form and the five viscera."
"The principles of the five viscera all stem from the ridians and pathways, through which Qi and Blood circulate. If Qi and Blood are not harmonious, a hundred illnesses will arise and transform. Therefore, one must guard these ridians and pathways."
The aning is that the human body’s internal organs symbolize different abilities within the body. They have distinct tasks and combine with one another to form a person, which is the origin of humankind. If they can’t connect freely, a person will encounter problems.
Realizing this, an idea suddenly erged in Zhang Beixing’s mind. If this blockage among the five viscera causes issues, what if the viscera were interlinked freely and also beca even stronger? Wouldn’t a person beco stronger under their influence as well?
Additionally, Zhang Beixing’s five viscera also contained the Postnatal Five Qi that inherently corresponded to the Five Elents. The Postnatal Five Qi could cleanse the five viscera!
Perhaps this is feasible! Zhang Beixing muttered to himself, believing that the idea wasn’t just an empty fantasy, but a real possibility.
Now, it was ti to give it a try.
But before attempting this, all necessary preparations had to be made. After all, this involved using the Postnatal Five Qi to cleanse his internal organs. The risk was far greater than the previous Three-in-One Resonance. The most basic protective asures still had to be prepared.
His protective asure was very simple.
"System, open my Personal Panel."
As Zhang Beixing’s voice fell, a semi-transparent blue Personal Panel imdiately appeared before his eyes.
[Master: Zhang Beixing]
[Status: Mild fatigue, mild ntal exhaustion, Five Qi toward Yuan, Unbreakable Divine Sight, Natural Martial Arts (False), Qi Like a Suspended Thread, Blood Like rcury Slurry Marrow Like Frost]
[Power: 175 (Unbreakable Extraordinary Divine Sight)]
[Constitution: 175 (Unbreakable Extraordinary Divine Sight)]
[Spirit: 200 (Unbreakable Extraordinary Divine Sight)]
[Ability Points: 393]
[Transcendent Skills: Heaven and Earth Natural Technique second layer 30, Five Elents and Eight Trigrams Step 5]
Seeing those 393 Ability Points, Zhang Beixing felt a lot more secure. This was his only, and best, protective asure. If any accident were to happen, it would be the best lifesaver.
I hope it doesn’t co to that.
He silently prayed. Taking several deep breaths, Zhang Beixing adjusted his state. Once he felt he was ready enough, Zhang Beixing carefully drew out the Postnatal Five Qi hidden within his five viscera, concentrated it into a mass, and then slamd it into his body!
BAM!
When the Postnatal Five Qi entered his body, a muffled, explosion-like sound imdiately ca from within Zhang Beixing. It was as if a long-unused broom were smacked vigorously. Dust clinging to his clothes was shaken from his body, bursting into the air. Behind him, a faint, circular shockwave of dust erupted.
After this explosive sound, Zhang Beixing’s eyes widened, and he clenched his teeth.
At that mont, only one thought remained in his mind.
Pain! This is so incredibly painful!
Even though he had been very careful to minimize the power of his Postnatal Five Qi, the resulting impact when it struck his body was not to be underestimated. Zhang Beixing now felt as though he’d been hit by a car—one that had disregarded his bones and collided directly with his internal organs!
He was in so much pain that veins throbbed visibly on his skin, and sweat drenched his back.
And yet, Zhang Beixing did not relax. At this mont, it’s do or die!
He clenched his fists tightly and poured all his focus into sensing the changes within his body. He desperately tried to control his Qi and Blood and his organs, trying to change their frequency, trying to make them reciprocate the cleansing vibrations produced by the Postnatal Five Qi.
