After hanging up the phone, Zhang Beixing pondered the na, his brow furrowing slightly. Thinking about what the other party had said on the phone, he was deeply curious, so he pulled out his phone and went online to look up information about this mafia.

"Although they're sowhat weaker than D&E, they're still a behemoth," Zhang Beixing murmured.
After reading the information on the Golden Wind, Zhang Beixing roughly understood their purpose in helping him. Just as they had said, they needed soone to break the current power dynamic in Ancient Ro and, more importantly, to break their own current stalemate. Targeted by various forces, the Golden Wind was declining day by day, a situation that couldn't continue. Therefore, they needed to make a change, and Zhang Beixing's ergence was undoubtedly the key.
Due to his enmity with D&E's labs, a clash between Zhang Beixing and D&E Laboratories was inevitable. D&E Laboratories was powerful, being one of the largest thamphetamine manufacturers in Ancient Ro. Jin Linyu chid in, "Yeah, what's the deal? Besides, I just saw on the news that there was a massacre at a bar here in Maro. What's that all about?"
"Lao Zhang, that wasn't you, was it?" Dong Guoning asked.
Hearing their questions, Zhang Beixing glanced at the others. He noticed they all looked puzzled and were watching him curiously. Clearly, Zheng Jituo's questions voiced what they all wanted to know.
Seeing this, Zhang Beixing paused for a mont before saying, "Don't jump to conclusions. The police officers just ca to talk to about a few things; it's nothing serious."
He ultimately decided not to disclose the full story, as there was no need. Even if he told his classmates everything that had happened tonight, what good would it do? They were just a group of university students; could they really help him with this? If they couldn't help, then there was no point in telling them. It would only make them anxious about the situation without any practical benefit.
Zheng Jituo, unaware of Zhang Beixing's reasoning, only heard his continued denial. He clicked his tongue and said, sowhat exasperated, "Co on, Lao Zhang, that's not cool. Things are already like this, and you're still..."
