Change your way of thinking?
Everyone present was taken aback by Zhang Beixing's remark. They looked at each other, puzzled about what Zhang Beixing was really hinting at with his cryptic words. They remained silent, simply staring at the stage, waiting for what ca next.
Seeing this reaction, Zhang Beixing didn't beat around the bush and directly said, "That's right, change your way of thinking."
"With our current strength, confronting the D&E Group head-on is like an ant trying to shake a tree—completely impractical."
"But what if we didn't take them head-on?"
"Ladies and gentlen, as Martial Artists, our advantage lies in our Martial Arts, and in our physical abilities and physique that far surpass ordinary people."
"On the other hand, their confidence solely stems from their weapons. Without their weapons, they are nothing."
"Use our strengths to target their weaknesses."
"We just need to find the right mont to strike, when they are unard. Then, everything can be resolved easily."
Zhang Beixing clearly laid out the differences in strengths and weaknesses between the Martial Artists and the cri syndicate.
Upon hearing this, everyone present nodded in agreent. This was indeed the right way to proceed.
But...
"President Zhang, how can we be sure they are the ones we are looking for? And how can we be certain that when we strike, they will be unard?" soone raised a question.
Taking soone out when they're down isn't hard to do. The real challenge lies in confirming the enemy's identity and state.
The D&E Group mbers were very well hidden. To date, it had only shown its face in Ancient Ro once. Apart from that, there were no traces to be found.
The Martial Artists indeed wanted revenge, but how could they seek it when they didn't even know who their target was? Even if they eventually confird the target, charging in blindly without knowing the enemy's situation could be disastrous. What if it was a trap set by the enemy?
They couldn't possibly think they were like Zhang Beixing, surviving bullets without a scratch, even forcefully ejecting them from their bodies with a re shudder. They were just a group of ordinary Martial Artists; one bullet would an death for them.
Zhang Beixing had anticipated the questions raised by the crowd. He smiled slightly and said, "I have taken into consideration all of your questions, which is why I specifically invited a heavyweight guest to this banquet."
Saying this, Zhang Beixing looked toward the entrance and smiled, "Please welco the commander of Shishi Military District, Huo Honghao, Colonel Huo."
As his voice trailed off, the staff, who had been waiting at the entrance for so ti, opened the doors. Huo Honghao, dressed in military uniform and escorted by several guards, walked in with confident strides.
Seeing him, everyone present was montarily stunned, then, realizing what this entailed, their faces showed shock.
Zhang Beixing stepped aside, and Huo Honghao took to the stage. He glanced at the crowd below, cleared his throat, and said, "Good afternoon, friends from the Martial Arts community. I am Huo Honghao, the commander of the Shishi Military District."
"We are aware of the recent deplorable incidents occurring around Asia."
"We are deeply grieved by the actions of these unlawful foreign forces. Unfortunately, as a military force of Great Xia, we have no reason, nor the right, to interfere with overseas powers and cannot directly engage in this matter."
"But! To stop this situation," he continued, "we have had discussions with President Zhang and reached a consensus. We are willing to form a military-martial alliance, providing assistance with intelligence information. Together, we will combat this unlawful force and restore peace and order to the world."
WHOA—
As Huo Honghao finished speaking, the conference room imdiately burst into an uproar. His implication was clear: from today onwards, the military would be entering the fray, joining the Martial Artists in the fight against the foreign cri syndicate.
Although the military wouldn't be fighting abroad, they could provide various types of intelligence! And what entity was the Great Xia military? Getting their hands on so intelligence would naturally not be difficult for them.
"Damn, the military is actually collaborating with us Martial Artists to combat that cri syndicate?"
"Damn! I knew this was serious, but I never thought it'd lead to the military partnering with us! This is an incredible opportunity!"
"Rember, it's not because of us, but because of President Zhang that the military is cooperating with us!"
"Exactly, exactly! That's President Zhang for you! Is this the influence of the President of the Asian Martial Arts Association, history's only Hidden Essence realm Martial Artist?"
"Excellent! There's hope for our revenge now!"
"..."
The Martial Artists were abuzz with excitent and extre joy. For one thing, the problem that had previously plagued them—identifying the D&E Group mbers—was now instantly resolved.
As Martial Artists, they felt powerless and insignificant against the mammoth that was the D&E Group. But that did not an Great Xia's military felt the sa way!
Thinking that revenge was now possible, people were excited. So were even anxious to confront mbers of the D&E Group right away, to obliterate them completely as retribution for the humiliation suffered in recent tis!
Seeing their reaction, Zhang Beixing smiled. He stepped forward, took the microphone back from Huo Honghao, and gestured downwards with his hand to quiet them. "My friends, please be patient," he said.
"This is just the beginning. The main challenge is yet to co."
"Considering this will be a tough battle with high risks, we need to work together to overco it."
"And in matters like these, re slogans are aningless."
"We must take decisive action to let these people feel our wrath!"
