The night has quietly descended.

In the central district of "New Inn Port," within a hotel suite that exudes luxury and elegance.

"Delis, have you not completed your research task for this quarter?"

Leaning back in the soft sofa, Anthony gently swirled the glass in his hand, the purplish-red wine spinning along the rim. Seeing the girl engrossed in a piece of parchnt in the corner, he casually asked.

"Ah, just a little bit more!"

Putting down the parchnt filled with illustrations and symbols, Delis frustratedly scratched her head and complained:

"Thanks to Aiven’s reminder last ti, I’ve narrowed down a few diums that can stably preserve the ’Strong Witchcraft Potion,’ and I thought I could quickly produce results.

But I got stuck again at finding the optimal ratio and subsequent processing thod for the stabilizer and the potion. The effects between different ratios are worlds apart; at worst, the glass bottles containing the potion would instantly lt!

Oh god, I’m about to lose it!"

She got up, grabbed another glass of wine beside Anthony, and drank it back at once, letting out a light breath of wine, not very ladylike: "Sotis I really envy geniuses like Aiven, who have limitless ingenious ideas and the powerful ability to turn those ideas into reality. In comparison, I feel despairingly stupid."

"Haha, soone who has simultaneously received the ’Hippocrates Level 2 dal,’ the ’Iron Cross dal’ blessed by the Goddess, and the ’Pioneer dal’ personally awarded by the Crown Prince can’t be simple at all, right?

Not only in your potion research, he has also helped significantly with the ’Continental Rune Evolution’ project before. The research assignnts assigned to him by the Association were completed by him in record ti...

I have a premonition that our new friend here will soon surpass us and beco a true Official Wizard first!"

Anthony, upon hearing Delis’s complaint, offered a different perspective.

"Oh? Aren’t you jealous, Anthony? A newcor progressing at an unbelievable speed and leaving us veterans far behind."

Delis looked playfully at her companion, raising her glass for a refill.

Unconcerned with Delis’s teasing, Anthony, like a sage who could see through the fog, explained his view to her.

"You and I both know that, in the world of the Extraordinary, family, resources, and secular power can only provide support on a basic level. The higher the tier of the Extraordinary, the more they must rely on aptitude, spirituality, and even the elusive luck.

A diocre person might see their lifeti’s end goal as becoming an Official Wizard, or worse, never advancing beyond a Low-tier Apprentice. But those gifted individuals can challenge the ’Upper-Rank Wizard,’ or even the legendary ’Crowned Wizard’ Truth Embodint.

Although I’m just a small Wizard Apprentice, based on my experience in the Association and family intelligence, among the mbers who joined the Association in the past decade, our Mr. Aiven has the potential to beco the most brilliant new star."

The aroma and color of the wine in Anthony’s hand reached its peak, and he took a gentle sip, his tone distant: "So, both my family and I are more than willing to be friends with such a guy, rather than... enemies."

If Aiven heard the two of them debating his rits, he would definitely feel embarrassed.

The countless ingenious ideas stem from a vision and knowledge beyond his era from his past life, the ability to assist in scientific research cos from "Data Visualization," the freakish execution ability cos from strict self-discipline, and the astonishing learning speed results from past learning habits and supplental aids.

These have little to do with so-called genius, at least not as much as the two of them imagine.

"Well, maybe there is indeed a gap between those of us who joined the Association due to our families and long-term cooperation with the ’Violet Eye,’ and true geniuses.

But I won’t just settle for rely stepping into this magical circle; I will do my utmost to beco a real Wizard and master my own destiny no matter what!"

Delis’s eyes fixed on the swirling wine in her hand, her tone calm, yet exuding a determination unmatched by most n.

After all, being a female mber of a prominent family, the path of a Wizard was her only saving grace to avoid the predestined fate of family alliances, homaking, and child-rearing.

She enjoyed various resources and privileges offered by her family, so how could she not give her all at critical monts? Those who selfishly chase freedom, individuality, and love, disregarding the big picture after gaining so much favor, are truly detestable.

Striving for progress to demonstrate a greater value than marriage alliances is Delis’s choice.

Though arduous, she never regrets it!

"By the way, why hasn’t that guy Alva co back after such a long ti?" Not wanting to dwell on the heavy topic of the future, Anthony remarked to change the subject.

He took out a gemstone-encrusted silver pocket watch from his pocket, glanced at it, and frowned with so displeasure: "And it’s already ti for the dishes to be served. When did these guys beco so unruly?"

A severe tone, as if the waiters in the hotel were his servants.

However, he was one of the few qualified to say such things, for this hotel was a property of the Anthony family. Disrupting the normal dining process not only tarnished the host’s reputation in high society but also showed disrespect to the guests!

Ring-ring-ring——

Anthony rang the bell for summoning the waiter.

"Hmm?"

Receiving no response for a long ti, Anthony beca increasingly dissatisfied, his face darkening to the point where it seed like water could drip. He got up, ready to rush out of the room to see what had happened to make these guys so reckless today that they dared to repeatedly make such basic mistakes.

"Wait, Anthony, listen!"

At this mont, Delis reached out to hold Anthony back, placing a finger on her lips with a soft "shh."

"Is that... dance music? What dance party is happening today? Why don’t I know about it?"

Continuous questions had just erged when Anthony imdiately realized sothing was off. Although he had always been pampered, having faced no real danger, as soone in the Extraordinary World, involved in the mysterious, he still possessed vigilance.

He gently approached the wall, took down a decorative sword, checked the various common talismans on him and a few uniquely shaped rings on his hands, signaled to Delis, and walked towards the door first.

Swish——

Delis swiftly tore off the skirt hem, preventing it from hindering her movents. From a black sheath strapped on her thigh beneath her skirt, she drew two short swords, twirling them as she advanced.

Coming to Anthony’s side, the handles of both swords clashed, and a stream of nearly invisible sharp air enveloped the gleaming blades; these two short swords were a set of Extraordinary Weapons.

Wizards in this world have many ways to enhance their physical attributes, such as advanced potions, witchcraft ceremonies, and magical items. Most Wizards with orthodox lineage or belonging to a school possess physical attributes comparable to an Official Knight in the apprentice phase.

The active spiritual power could easily withstand the impact of physical berserk transformations, and those "pure" casters who are physically weak are the true anomalies in this world.

If not for Milan’s constant disdain for the path of a Knight and the unique nature of his school as a mber of the Prophetic School, he wouldn’t have maintained the level of Apprentice Knight for so long.

Evidently, besides their primary roles as researchers, both Anthony and Delis held the ranks of Official Knight (Beginner).
