"Let’s see how it’s going now," said Lin Feng as he picked up Leng Hui’s hand and closed his eyes.

"How’s the situation? I’ve already checked the pulse, and there shouldn’t be any problems," Chen Guisheng said, looking at Lin Feng taking Leng Hui’s pulse and adding so comnts on the side.

"It’s indeed much better, and there don’t seem to be any issues. But the recovery is a bit slow, let help you with it," Lin Feng said, then took out his silver needles and started to apply them on Leng Hui. In a short ti, he had inserted over ten silver needles into his body, even on his head with so needles shaking slightly.

By now, Leng Hui had imnse trust in Lin Feng’s dical skills, so seeing Lin Feng take out the needles, he didn’t think about anything and fully cooperated with Lin Feng’s acupuncture treatnt.

Leng i and Chen Guisheng watched silently from the side, knowing better than to speak and possibly disturb Lin Feng, especially while he was treating Leng Hui - they couldn’t afford any mistakes.

"Stop for a bit and rest. I’m going to use the restroom and then co back," Lin Feng signaled to his senior brother with a glance, hinting for Chen Guisheng to step outside for a mont.

Chen Guisheng certainly saw what Lin Feng ant, made an excuse, and followed him out. Even without Lin Feng’s glance, he would have wanted to speak with Lin Feng — there were so many things they hadn’t had the chance to talk about yesterday before parting ways, and now was the perfect opportunity; how could he miss it?

The two found a quieter spot, and Chen Guisheng imdiately brought up all the questions he had been harboring.

"Junior brother, how did you get my phone number?" Chen Guisheng was very curious; how did his junior brother get his number? He and their master had parted ways decades ago, back when mobile phones didn’t exist, and he only started using one in the past two years. What was going on?

"Before parting ways with Master, he gave your business card with the number on it. Is there sothing strange about that?" Lin Feng didn’t understand his senior brother’s expression; was having his phone number such a surprise?

"I haven’t seen Master in decades, and my business card with my mobile number was printed only in the last two years. How could he have my card?" Chen Guisheng felt bewildered on hearing Lin Feng’s reply. He hadn’t seen their master either. How did his junior brother get the card? Was their master watching him all along?

"There’s nothing to be amazed about. Look, what’s this?" Lin Feng wasn’t surprised by his senior brother’s words. With Master’s ability to appear and disappear at will, getting a business card was like child’s play. With this thought, he raised his hand and took his senior brother’s phone, shaking it in front of Chen Guisheng.

"Isn’t this my phone? How did it end up in your hands? Oh, I understand now!" Seeing his own phone in Lin Feng’s hand, Chen Guisheng got it. It was his junior brother’s way of conveying a ssage. If Lin Feng could silently take a phone from him, Master getting a business card was even more like playing a ga, wasn’t it?

"Junior brother, what exactly did you and Master learn?" Astonished by his junior brother’s previously demonstrated skills, Chen Guisheng now fully realized that his junior brother must have been Master’s formal disciple, not just a nad disciple like him. Lin Feng knew too much; he had only learned traditional Chinese dicine from their master and had co so far already. What could Lin Feng beco in the future?

"Peerless Divine Skill, survival skills, Killing Techniques, Hundred Schools of Thought, Astronomy and Geography, Divination and Astrology, music, chess, calligraphy, painting, multiple languages, and other various things. It seems there’s practically nothing I didn’t learn," Lin Feng said casually.

"Ah!" Upon hearing Lin Feng’s words, Chen Guisheng stared at him even more intently. It wasn’t surprising to him that his junior brother could do anything, as nothing was impossible with their master, but a person’s energy is always limited, right? How could he learn so much? Where did he find the energy to study all these things?

"Senior brother, I haven’t had the chance to ask you, how old are you really?" Lin Feng was also very curious if his senior brother wasn’t a bit too old, especially since he had spoken of things from five or six decades ago. How old could their master possibly be?

"Junior brother, I am 79 years old this year, hehe, a bit old, aren’t I?" Chen Guisheng looked at Lin Feng, also puzzled. Why was he asking about his age? What did it an?

"Senior brother, what did Master look like when you first t him?" Lin Feng pursued the question again.

"Back then, when I first t Master, he was wearing a white traditional Tang suit, his hair all white, looking the part of an Immortal with an extraordinary presence." Chen Guisheng recalled the scene of the past carefully, his respect for their nominal teacher increasing. If it weren’t for him, there would be no Chen Guisheng of today. How could he forget what Master looked like back then?

"What?" Lin Feng couldn’t believe his ears upon hearing Chen Guisheng. Their Master had looked around sixty over fifty or sixty years ago, and there seed to be no change in him now. Normal people would have changed greatly over five or six decades, but not their master. It was inexplicable!

His makeshift master hadn’t changed at all over the past decades and was still in excellent health. How could this be understood? To put it another way, Master must be well over a hundred years old, though no one knew the exact number. It was utterly baffling.

Even if their master possessed superb dical skills and practiced the "Exclusive Supre Soaring Decree," could he really defy the natural law of birth, aging, sickness, and death?

So, why exactly could Master keep his youthful appearance, and how old was he now...

"By the way, Junior Brother, fifty or sixty years have gone by, how is our master doing now?" Upon hearing Lin Feng ask about their master, Chen Guisheng also missed the master dearly, and casually threw out the question, wanting to know how their master was faring, after all, it had been fifty or sixty years without seeing the master, and he didn’t know if he would have the chance to see him again in this lifeti.

"Master is doing very well, I just parted with him not long ago, and he basically looks the sa as you rember," Lin Feng replied with a sense of speechlessness to his senior brother’s question, still tangled inside, how old was master exactly? If he knew master’s age, he could determine many things, such as whether the ’Exclusive Supre Soaring Decree’ could prolong life and so on.

However, wanting to know the master’s age was probably impossible, let alone asking about it—seeing him again was of uncertain timing!

Alas, there were still many problems awaiting the master to resolve!

"What, Junior Brother, what did you say? Master still looks the sa?" Upon hearing Lin Feng’s words, Chen Guisheng stared at Lin Feng with an utterly astonished expression, hardly able to believe his own ears. Master still looked the sa after all these years, how could that be possible? Could it be a mistake in hearing?

"You didn’t hear wrong, he still looks the sa as you saw him." Lin Feng reaffird once more, seeing Chen Guisheng’s expression, he understood why his senior brother was so surprised, he himself couldn’t make sense of it—how could Chen Guisheng grasp it all at once?

"This..." On hearing Lin Feng’s confird response, Chen Guisheng found his mind had short-circuited. As a doctor, he obviously understood the natural laws of birth, aging, sickness, and death, even if there were thods to extend life, appearance couldn’t remain unchanged—but the master had maintained the sa look for fifty or sixty years, which was simply impossible, sothing no one could understand!

Could the master be the legendary immortal, after all? Ordinary people, let alone maintaining the sa appearance for fifty or sixty years, could scarcely achieve that for five or six years—it was improbable. If this claim were made public, probably nobody on Earth would believe it. What else could he be if not an immortal?

Could immortals really exist, and master was one descended to the mortal realm? Otherwise, how could master possess such profound dical skills and teach a disciple that seed a monster in talent?

The more he thought about it, the more he felt it was likelier that the master was an immortal, as that was the only explanation that made sense of everything!

"Forget it, let’s go back!" Lin Feng shook his head and turned to walk towards Leng Hui’s sickroom. Although he was still troubled by the master’s issues, obsessing over it was futile; it was better to wait until he saw master again and ask him properly.

Upon hearing Lin Feng’s words, Chen Guisheng also silently followed Lin Feng into the sickroom, his mind still grappling with the conundrum of how the master could still look the sa after so many decades...

"It’s about ti; I’m going to remove the needles now." Lin Feng sat down next to Leng Hui, checked the ti, and began to remove the needles one by one.

Chen Guisheng found a stool to sit on without saying a word, and lowered his head to contemplate.

Leng Hui found Chen Guisheng’s behavior odd, wondering why he had co back with Lin Feng since they did not seem very familiar with each other, and Chen Guisheng’s expressions seed a bit off—different from the usual Old Chen. Had sothing happened?

But Leng Hui couldn’t ask while Lin Feng was removing his needles. He would wait to inquire after Lin Feng left; they had a relationship spanning decades, and he didn’t want Old Chen to harbor any troubles.

At this age, if one wants to live a few more years, having the right state of mind is crucial.

"Follow this prescription, sort out your body, and you should recover quite quickly," said Lin Feng as he wrote a prescription, handed it to Leng i, rose, and prepared to leave.

"Lin Feng, won’t you stay a little longer?" Seeing Lin Feng wanting to leave, Leng Hui couldn’t help but wish for him to stay—you could say he wanted to discuss so matters with Lin Feng, and he also wanted Lin Feng to spend more ti with Leng i. Lin Feng was leaving without even having spoken to ii.

"I won’t stay; I have to go back to the school soon. There are classes I need to attend," Lin Feng said, then walked towards the door. Timing was important, and he couldn’t afford to delay the students’ classes.

"ii, see Lin Feng off," commanded Leng Hui, quickly instructing Leng i as he saw Lin Feng actually preparing to leave; he thought it would be good for ii to spend as much ti as possible with Lin Feng.

"No need, I drove here and can go straight to the school. Take care of your grandfather," Lin Feng declined Leng i kindly and walked briskly out of the sickroom door, disappearing into the corridor.

Upon hearing Lin Feng say so, Leng i didn’t think much of it; she knew Lin Feng well enough to be reassured of him leaving on his own, so she returned to care for her grandfather.

Watching Lin Feng depart in such a manner, Leng Hui felt a bit of an internal tussle, contemplating how he could facilitate more interactions between Lin Feng and Leng i. He definitely needed to find a way to bridge the gap between them!
