Liu Li and Lin Dongchen, the husband and wife, exchanged a glance with each other and saw infinite shock in each other’s eyes, because the incident today happened too suddenly. Just monts ago, they were prepared to be beaten; however, once Lin Feng and their daughter returned, the situation completely reversed. Not only did they remain unhard, but the arrogant thief got his arm broken—and all this was because of a look from Lin Feng, a single glance that frightened the blond-haired man to that extent, then...

Their hands gripped each other tighter. As they often dealt with external affairs, they understood the concept that it’s easier to deal with Yama than small demons. These street bullies were the hardest to handle, yet now that they’ve t Lin Feng, they were behaving so obediently—it was just too incredible! Although they couldn’t comprehend how Lin Feng managed to do this, the result was more important than the process. Knowing that Lin Feng could instill fear in these gangsters ant that it would be much easier to handle matters in the future. It also ant that Lin Jie would be safer with Lin Feng by her side. Choosing Lin Feng as a son-in-law seed like an incredibly correct decision—they could now be completely at ease regarding Lin Jie’s safety.

With this in mind, they found themselves increasingly pleased and fond of Lin Feng the more they looked at him.

The crowd that had been watching the commotion from afar was now in complete turmoil. These bullies had been around for more than a day or two; it was common to see people being bullied and beaten by them until bloodied. But today’s situation was unexpected. After the return of those two young people, there was a total reversal—it was the bully who led the gang that ended up with a broken arm by the blond-haired individual. This was beyond everyone’s imagination. Weren’t they together? Why would they fight among themselves? Could it be because of this young man?

It seed the only explanation was this young man. Didn’t you see how Huangmao was nodding and bowing to him, acting like a submissive grandchild? If not for this reason, how could such a situation possibly occur!

"My god, who is that young man?"

"Who he is doesn’t matter, what matters is that the gangsters are scared of him."

"Why would the gangsters be scared of him?"

"Perhaps because this young man has powerful influence."

...

Everyone started speculating wildly, as they were quite distant and could only vaguely make out what was happening, without knowing the specifics. But that no longer mattered; what was important was that they all now knew one fact: the gang was incredibly afraid of this young man. Anyone who could instill such fear in the gangsters must have a strong background or power, otherwise the bullies who usually did as they pleased wouldn’t be afraid of him!

Upon seeing that Huangmao had broken Liu San’s arm and also ca forward to admit his wrongdoing, Lin Feng’s anger subsided sowhat. But letting off those who threatened his parents, that was sothing he simply could not do. If it weren’t for the crowd of onlookers, he would have been willing to cripple them. He would now see what Huangmao would do next.

Seeing that Lin Feng was silent, Huangmao knew that Lin Feng was still angry, and that this outco was not satisfactory to him. So, he gave another kick to Liu San, who was still wailing on the ground.

"Stop ****ing howling on the ground. If you keep it up, I’ll break all your arms and legs. Aren’t you going to apologize quickly? Do you really need to take action before you realize you’re wrong?" Huangmao shouted at Liu San and the others, thinking that these people were truly oblivious to the situation. How could they not understand what was happening? Lin Feng was clearly still angry. If they didn’t go to apologize, would they really prefer Lin Feng to start hitting and crippling them before they’d be happy?

"Don’t ****ing make say this! If it weren’t for fear of Lin Feng’s anger turning towards us, I wouldn’t bother with your lives at all," he thought, growing angrier with every second, then raised his foot and viciously kicked another person nearby, finding himself completely speechless at these clueless individuals.

"Uncle, Auntie, we were wrong. Please spare us; I am kneeling for you!" Realizing the severity of his situation after Huangmao’s kick, Liu San understood that Brother Huangmao was trying to help them. If the young man’s anger was not appeased, then Brother Huangmao would end up breaking all their arms! Now, everything depended on how he could get their forgiveness. Imdiately, he picked himself up from the ground and kneeled before Lin Yiwen and the others, holding his other arm, and began kowtowing.

"We really know we were wrong, please spare us."

"We would rather die than dare to do this again."

"We won’t ever dare again."

...

Seeing that Liu San had acted this way, his fellow brothers hurriedly knelt down alongside him, kowtowing and pleading for rcy. As long as their arms weren’t broken, they didn’t care about losing face. They would say anything to be forgiven, otherwise Brother Huangmao would break their arms, and that would drive them insane—how would they be able to eat with broken arms!

Zhang Lan and Lin Yiwen looked down at Liu San and his companions kneeling on the ground, and their hearts softened. Though they initially acted fierce, they hadn’t physically assaulted anyone, and now one of the thieves even had his arm broken. That should be enough, a lesson learned.

"Son, I think we should forgive them," Lin Yiwen quickly said, sensing his son was still angry. He feared Lin Feng might order that blond-haired guy to do sothing else, which would be too much for those n. Besides, they hadn’t really struck them; the harsh lesson they received was punishnt enough.

"Son, we haven’t really been hurt, and besides, that one had his arm broken. Enough is enough, let’s stop here," Zhang Lan also spoke up, encouraging her son to end it there. Today’s events had gone far enough; no one was seriously hurt, so it was ti to let them go.

Hearing what his parents said, Lin Feng couldn’t really continue. After all, the point of the outing was to have fun, and he didn’t want to dampen everyone’s mood. But letting these people go just like that seed too lenient.

But with his parents present and in front of so many onlookers, unless absolutely necessary, he couldn’t really take matters into his own hands. Not out of concern for retaliation, but for fear of alarming his parents. A day ant for enjoyable shopping shouldn’t be spoiled by a few delinquents.

"See that policeman over there? Confess to him, and we’ll call it even," Lin Feng suddenly saw a patrolling officer and knew how to deal with them. By confessing on their own, the outco would be quite fair, sparing his parents any distress and ensuring the thieves didn’t get off easy.

"Okay, okay! We’ll go to the police and confess right now," Liu San exclaid joyfully upon hearing Lin Feng’s words. At last, Lin Feng was letting him and his brothers off the hook. Just confessing to the cops ant a few days in the station—a familiar routine for them.

With that thought, he quickly led his brothers toward the patrolling officers, fearful that any delay might make Teacher Lin change his mind and call them back for another round of trouble.

Seeing a resolution like this, Liu San’s brothers, previously petrified, felt a weight lift from their chests. Their backs were soaked with cold sweat, but understanding their boss’s order, they mustered what strength they had to follow him toward the police. As long as they reached the station, they would be safe. It was certainly much better than having an arm broken!

Once he saw everyone disperse for real, Huangmao let out a sigh of relief. Thankfully, he handled the situation cleverly today. Otherwise, he might have been the one in trouble. Why stay any longer? It was ti to leave.

"Teacher Lin, we..." Huangmao didn’t dare walk away just like that, in case Lin Feng was still displeased, so he cautiously inquired, willing to bolt if given the chance.

"Mom and Dad, Aunty and Uncle, why don’t we all go shopping together?" Lin Feng waved at Huangmao, signaling he could leave, then approached his parents. Feeling that it was safer with his parents, he suggested they shop together.

"Well, let’s stick together then," Zhang Lan agreed with her son. Everyone felt more secure together, and it guaranteed their safety.

After the incident, both families accepted the suggestion, and they walked arm in arm towards the shopping area.

As Lin Feng and the others left, Huangmao almost collapsed on the ground, still frightened by the recent events. He knew all too well what it was like to have his arm broken by Lin Feng and was rightfully scared when he saw Lin Feng’s anger flare up again.

Without hesitation, Huangmao quickly ushered his terrified brothers back to their base. After sitting restlessly for a mont, he decided to send a lackey to safeguard Lin Feng and his group. It would be a real ss if soone caused trouble again, and they couldn’t afford another incident like today’s.

...

"Officer, I just stole soone’s money, please arrest ," one admitted.

"Officer, I stole money too, please take in as well," another pleaded.

...

With his six brothers in tow, Liu San ran up to two patrolling officers and knelt before them, eagerly begging to be arrested. Still reeling from the shock and fear, he had only one hope: that the officers would take them away quickly. If Teacher Lin decided he wasn’t satisfied and ca back for them, they’d be in deep trouble, set for a brutal handling. To avoid this, they needed to get the police to take them in, as only in a detention cell would they truly be safe.
