Returning to the Xucheng market, Lin Feng and Tao Tao continued their stroll. Yesterday, they encountered Guan Yu and did not finish exploring. They hoped to find so treasures hidden in the market. Tangyuan perched on Lin Feng’s shoulder, occasionally communicating with him and informing him about various matters here.

But today, after walking not far, Lin Feng suddenly noticed a shop nearby selling elixirs was looking to sell. This piqued Lin Feng’s interest, not because it was an elixir shop, but because the shop was large enough, with a three-story front building covering an area of four to five hundred square ters, and a very large courtyard at the back, even a two-story building at the rear. It indeed covered quite an area.

Seeing this, Lin Feng stepped towards the shop, leaving Tao Tao and Tangyuan puzzled and uncertain of Lin Feng’s intentions. Tao Tao hesitated a bit but eventually followed along.

After entering the shop, Lin Feng encountered an elderly man in the hall and approached him to inquire.

"Old man, is this shop for sale?" Lin Feng asked with a smile.

"Indeed, are you interested in the shop?" The old man sized up Lin Feng, considering him too young to buy such a large shop.

"I am interested. May I look around?" Lin Feng continued smiling, unconcerned about the old man’s tone.

"San’er, take him around to have a look," the old man instructed one of the shop’s jesters to show Lin Feng around.

The attendant nad San’er was young and quick, imdiately responding and running over, greeting Lin Feng with a smile: "Please!"

Lin Feng followed San’er upstairs without much ado. Upon reaching the second floor, San’er whispered: "The shop was doing well initially, but the old manager got into trouble with other people recently and had no choice but to sell. Several groups ca before you, and none returned later. I reckon it’s easy to buy the shop but hard to keep it running; if you truly want to buy the shop, you’d better resolve the issues first, or you’ll end up losing on the purchase."

"No problem, just show around," Lin Feng responded with a smile, recognizing San’er as a good person for being candid, unlike most attendants who would not share such information; Lin Feng’s appreciation for San’er increased.

"Alright, let show you. You’ve seen on the first floor the common elixirs and healing dicines. But on the second floor, the elixirs level up, mainly for Divine Origin Realm users. We stock all market-available varieties," San’er said, pointing at the few display cabinets on the second floor.

Lin Feng nodded at the remark, not saying much.

San’er continued guiding Lin Feng upstairs, and Lin Feng’s eyes brightened upon reaching the third floor. There was only a single display cabinet containing just a dozen or so elixirs. When Lin Feng found it odd, San’er explained further.

"On the third floor, each elixir is worth a fortune, it’s the store’s treasure, elixirs for Divine King powerhouses or other rare elixirs. You see, the display cabinet is not ordinary; it is a Dharma Treasure, only the shopkeeper can open it. If soone harbors ill intentions, these three floors would imdiately seal off, and the cabinet would release a deadly poison that even a Divine King powerhouse may not escape."

"Let’s see other areas," Lin Feng nodded calmly, seemingly unfazed by the information.

Seeing this, San’er glanced admiringly at Lin Feng for remaining composed, recognizing that this young man was extraordinary. He then smiled and led Lin Feng downstairs to the courtyard.

The courtyard was not exceptionally large but spanned several hundred square ters. The courtyard sides were neatly lined with shelves for drying spiritual dicines, and a strong herbal fragrance wafted through the area. San’er smiled, remarking: "This courtyard, though modest, is excellent for processing spiritual dicines for sale. Using proper preservation thods, elixirs can be made by alchemists, allowing substantial earnings. The shop’s major profits co from crafting elixirs here annually."

Listening to this, Lin Feng examined the courtyard, finding it indeed impressive: paved with smooth flagstones with well-equipped dicine-handling tools. He nodded in satisfaction.

Seeing Lin Feng’s approving gesture, San’er chuckled and added: "Around here, only our shop has such a spacious courtyard, convenient for storage. You’ll be more satisfied with what’s at the back."

With this said, San’er led Lin Feng to the rear two-story building. Lin Feng was surprised to find not only a warehouse on the first floor but also a furnished basent connecting with the ground-enriched environnt, having higher Yuan energy than above ground, making Lin Feng quite curious.

"This basent?" Lin Feng pointed, questioning.

"Originally, the shop had an alchemist who used this basent exclusively. After the alchemist left, the basent remained unused. When warehouse space was inadequate, it was also used for storage," San’er explained with a smile, adding further by pointing at several nearby doors: "Over there, the staff resides, accommodating seven or eight people, cooking facilities included with everything life’s necessities prepared."

He then pointed upstairs at Lin Feng, saying: "Upstairs, used by the shopkeeper, covers an entire floor, impeccably decorated, with ample rooms. Presently, there are female guests, so I can’t take you up."

After Saner’s introduction, Lin Feng smiled and nodded, genuinely pleased with the shop. He gestured to San’er and returned to the front hall.

"Brother Lin, are you considering buying the shop?" Tao Tao couldn’t resist asking Lin Feng, unable to grasp why he’d want to acquire the shop for no apparent reason.

"Yes." Lin Feng simply replied, smiling without further comnt, leaving Tao Tao puzzled. Even Tangyuan on Lin Feng’s shoulder scratching his claws couldn’t understand Lin Feng’s intention.

As they spoke, San’er led Lin Feng to the front hall, where the old man was, and Lin Feng took a step forward, asking earnestly: "How would you sell the shop?"

"Five hundred thousand Yuan Stones!" the old man stated directly after glancing at Lin Feng, quoting the price.

"Five hundred thousand Yuan Stones?" Tao Tao heard the figure and widened her eyes, knowing the shop was expensive but not expecting the price to be five hundred thousand Yuan Stones, which was incredibly high, enough to purchase a street in Ning City.

"Five hundred thousand is excessive; I could buy it for three hundred thousand Yuan Stones." Lin Feng acknowledged the price was high. Despite the shop’s good location and ample size, five hundred thousand was exorbitant. Weighing it over, he deed three hundred thousand Yuan Stones more reasonable, especially considering San’er’s earlier remarks, so he aid to bargain hard.

Upon hearing Lin Feng, the old man remained silent, signaling him to leave. Though five hundred thousand might seem high, it was only slightly above the normal price, while Lin Feng’s offer of three hundred thousand was evidently unfeasible. If not pushed to desperation, he wouldn’t sell at a loss!

Faced with this situation, Lin Feng casually smiled and told the old man: "I’ll return in a few days, if you sell, I’ll buy."

Having said that, Lin Feng departed the elixir pharmacy shop with Tao Tao. Once on the street, Tao Tao stopped Lin Feng, staring at him intensely: "Brother Lin, why buy that shop? You don’t an to make elixirs to sell, do you? That’s grueling work and delays cultivation! Also, buying the shop costs a significant amount of Yuan Stones!"

"Yes, Boss, I don’t understand your intent, do you intend to stay in Xucheng long? Venturing into business here?" Tangyuan then asked, equally puzzled, as Lin Feng didn’t seem irrational; wondering why he’d want the shop.

"You overthought; I rely want a base, as for elixirs, they’ll continue selling post-purchase. With Elder Chu’s help for general elixirs, they’re no issue. And for rare elixirs, would you think I’d be lacking them?"

Just then, as Lin Feng paused, and continued: "Moreover, I have another idea, to open the elixir shop throughout the Myriad Heavens Divine Realm, seeking ascenders via these shops; now you understand my purpose?"

These plans are Lin Feng’s strategic blueprint, inspired by seeing the elixir shop, with high feasibility, he wished to try. If successful, gathering ascenders becos far easier in the future.

After Lin Feng spoke, both Tao Tao and Tangyuan were dumbfounded, knowing Lin Feng’s goals. He intended to build a system rivaling sects; if realized, they couldn’t even fathom the future implications.
