Claudia changed into a maid outfit and followed Perfikot, disguising herself as her personal maid.
However, although she was an assassin, she perford the duties of a maid with ease.
"I once received complete maid training to infiltrate certain noble households for assassination when necessary." Claudia answered Perfikot’s curiosity in this way.
Perfikot did not comnt on this. Although in the past Beifa often acted as her personal maid, Beifa was ultimately a lifeless autonomous doll, quite different from a living person.
This made Perfikot feel a bit unusual, but she only felt slightly uneasy before accepting the presence of an additional maid by her side.
Having packed everything, she had soone move the packed luggage from Brandelis Manor to the Flying Airship parked outside.
Even though deploying a Flying Airship was a big ordeal, as the Count of the Northern Territory, Perfikot had this right.
Thus, for the first ti, the residents of Brandelis were able to see a Flying Airship as huge as a mountain, hovering over Brandelis Manor.
Although for the residents of Brandelis, ever since Mr. Brandelis embarked on the path of being an Alchemist, nothing that happened at Brandelis Manor was surprising anymore, a Flying Airship was still quite a shock to them.
Looking at these residents, Perfikot hesitated and wavered, pondering whether or not to bring these people to the Northern Territory.
After all, they had been loyal to the Brandlis Clan since their ancestors were granted this land; their n had once followed her grandfather and ancestors to the battlefield, making many contributions to the Brandlis Clan.
In the past, the maids and servants of Brandelis Manor were served by them, and even today in the territory, there were veterans who had followed Perfikot’s grandfather to the battlefield.
For Perfikot, even though she dismissed all the maids and servants upon her initial crossing, this did not prevent her from having special feelings for these residents.
After all, they watched Perfikot grow up, and after the Brandelis couple t with an accident, although the manor’s maids and servants were dismissed, they would still occasionally express concern for the last scion of the Brandlis Clan and sotis send vegetables to the manor.
Foster reported these matters to Perfikot, but at that ti, Perfikot paid no attention to them.
Thinking of this, Perfikot said to Claudia, "Help rember to have Butler Foster co back and relocate the residents of the territory to the Northern Territory once we return."
Claudia gave Perfikot a strange look but, having fully assud her maid role, said nothing and quietly noted the matter.
Soon, all the items to be taken from the manor were loaded onto the Flying Airship, and Perfikot, along with Claudia, boarded the imnse vessel.
Currently, there are six Flying Airships in all of Victory. A small experintal ship is the prototype Perfikot initially created, which she left in the Northern Territory to serve as a transport tool.
The other five were large transport ships built by the Royal Shipyard; they had previously executed the Thermobaric Bomb missions.
One of them was the one carrying Perfikot and the White Bear Knight back to Langton, which Perfikot was now aboard.
It was nad Behemoth, and Perfikot’s cousin, Major William, was the captain of this Flying Airship.
Of course, due to his outstanding performance in the operation to destroy the capital of France, he was confird for promotion to Colonel. However, considering that he hadn’t been a Major for very long, his promotion was scheduled for the year’s end.
Major William naturally didn’t mind this; he knew he completely benefited from Perfikot’s favor.
Without that, as a non-noble Navy officer, the earliest he could hope to be promoted to Major would be around forty, possibly retiring with the rank of Colonel.
Now, however, having advanced to Major last year and Colonel this year, he could at least retire as a Rear Admiral.
So when Perfikot boarded the ship, he ca to the ship’s dining hall with a flattering deanor, found Perfikot sitting by the porthole looking at the scenery below, and greeted with so flattery, "Count Brandelis, welco aboard. On behalf of all the crew of the Behemoth, I welco your arrival."
"No need for such formality, Cousin William." Perfikot shook her head, not particularly fond of Major William’s flattering posture.
However, she understood that with her change in status, everyone’s behavior towards her had changed.
Therefore, she didn’t demand much, rely watching the scenery outside the window while inviting Major William to sit down and asking him, "Cousin William, how is this ship? During the mission to bomb the capital of France and in routine operations, have you encountered any issues?"
"This ship is designed so excellently, she is marvelous! All the crew are very pleased with her!" Major William sincerely praised the Flying Airship, his words filled with admiration: "I have never seen a vessel so beautiful, efficient, and swift! She’s several tis faster than the fastest ship of the Royal Navy, and the sense of safety flying among the clouds is incomparable to sailing on the sea!
Especially the cabin space, compared to the cramped and low spaces of naval vessels, the Flying Airship is so spacious one could dance!
However, it does lack so weapons. During the bombing of the French capital, the French attempted to attack the Flying Airship.
At that ti, we descended due to the bombing, and the French mages and so powerful knights used throw weapons and magic to attack the Flying Airship, although it caused no damage.
But if we had mounted a rapid-fire cannon beneath the Flying Airship, we could have achieved more victories and been able to defend ourselves!"
"Hmm, I will report this to the Royal Shipyard. Future ship models can consider installing so defensive weapons." Perfikot nodded in agreent, acknowledging that she missed out on weaponry when designing the Flying Airship.
After all, in the original world, Flying Airships rarely had weapons installed. Under normal circumstances, being able to fly at altitudes of several thousand ters, such Airships shouldn’t have had to consider defense before aircraft that could fly so high appeared.
